Room was dirty, sink was leaking water all over the place, floor was filthy and the sheets had other people's hair on it. And bed-bug droppings would appear every night. gross. Bed mattress smelled bad. Just felt really dirty and uncomfortable sleeping there.

• Paula (7/5): Easy and safe location for solo traveller - Good central location and quiet property No lift for a heavy suitcase but I knew that would be the case, so not a real complaint
• Anja (8/5): Heerlijk verblijf, ideale locatie. - Locatie is ideaal, alles is op loopafstand te bereiken. Ondanks dat je centraal zit heb je geen last van het verkeer. Ook is het dakterras nog heerlijk aan het einde van de middag als de zon qua sterkte afneemt. Inchecken is makkelijk en goed geregeld ook als je pas laat aankomt. Altijd snel antwoord van Lyly via de app! Voor ons was het matras wat aan de harde kant, maar dat is uiteraard persoonsgebonden. Jammer dat je op een verblijf van 6 nachten maar 1 keer schone handdoeken krijgt en er maar 1 per persoon aanwezig is. Zou toch fijn zijn als er een extra wissel bij zit of twee sets (grote en kleine) aanwezig zijn per persoon.

• Laurel (7/5): Affordable, locally owned, great location, communicative host, value for money. - Great value for the location, walking distance from main market, art museum, water taxis, and much more! Local neighborhood, comfortable room, communicative host. Fast wifi, contemporary decor. My room was on the 5th floor walk up, which was fine but other travelers should be aware. This is locally owned and someone is around during the day, but not at night (it seems).

• Maureen (9/5): Perfect, calm and clean hotel to stay in HCMC. Close to good coffee shops, restaurants and sights. - The room was very clean and the bed super comfy. Also it is a very calm back alley where the hotel is located. Loved the shower/toilet situation as the toilet does not get wet when showering. The host is super kind and communicates super fast via WhatsApp. It is sad that I have never met Lyly and that you cannot rely on somebody from the hotel being there. There is no reception really. This makes early arrival or leaving the luggage a little bit complicated. However the hosts try their best to make sure you have everything.

Il n'y a pas d'ascenseur, il y a 4 étages avec un escalier étroit, pas toujours facile avec les valises. Aucun contact humain avec la propriétaire, tout se passe par WhatsApp, il faut parfois appeler si la réponse est urgente et il est indispensable d'avoir un bon internet à l'arrivée pour obtenir le code de la porte d'entrée. Nous avons attendu 30 mn à notre arrivée !! Ce manque de contact humain est regrettable.

Wir haben die Gastgeberin nie persönlich getroffen, konnten aber alles über WhatsApp unkompliziert klären. Insgesamt gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis! Die Einrichtung ist etwas abgenutzt, inbesondere im Badezimmer. Das Waschbecken war undicht und hat viel Wasser auf dem Boden verloren, die Halterung für das Klopapier ist fast aus der Wand gefallen.

• Jade (10/5): Nice little room - Lovely little room for one or two nights. You can see in the bathroom from the bed, it is a very small room. So if you are friends like we were it isn’t very comfortable. My friend had to leave the room so I could have a shower.

• Lyubov (9/5): - Владелец была на связи, т. к. заселение бесконтактное. Все вопросы решали онлайн. Номер был заявлен с балконом, но по сути его нет, просто окна в пол, которые не открывались. Было чисто, в номере была вода, чай, кофе. Также на 1 эт есть зона с кухней, холодильником, стиральной машиной, посудой и прочим. Оплата только наличными. С раннего утра за окном начинается шум, слышимость в самом отеле тоже очень хорошая.

Einfach groß artig. Vielen lieben Dank für alles und bis ganz bald. Leider waren gerade Bauarbeiten im gegenüber liegenden Haus. Wenn man dann doch mal vorhatte länger als 7 Uhr zu schlafen, war das dann Leider nicht mehr möglich😅.

• Ekaterina (4/5): Only for sleepover - Location is only bonus here. And self check in. Room was on the top floor, you have to walk with your suitcases on 6 floor. On the way through passage you can see broken clothes ramps, witch is annoying because you get caught with your backpack. Room itself very small and way too different from the pictures provided (strange design). Kitchen is dirty, broken kitchenware, i don't understand why would you put a teapot for customers without lead. Wooden bed frame is pointing from all sides, me and my partner hit our knees few times. Around AC mold and wet spots. Bathroom and bed are clean but the heater in the bathroom is awful! There is no sign what is hot or cold and the switch is super sensitive, I burn myself twice and after just gave up. I stayed in D2 for the same price in much better place.

• Alexandra (10/5): Cozy, atmospheric, great location - Location is amazing, super close to the old city center and has lots of cafes around. The place itself is very cozy, located in the backyard, so very quiet at night. It is very clean, and everything is well maintained. The place has a fully equipped shared kitchen, and even a washing machine, if needed. The owner is very communicative, polite and caring. Overall, I absolutely enjoyed my stay! I saw this thing mentioned before, so I was morally prepared - the door key card had some glitches. But if you keep patience and hold it for a bit, it works. You just need to get used to it

• Freya (5/5): Passable - Pretty good location in district 1, pretty good price My room was really dirty and had no fridge. My friends room had multiple cockroaches in it and a can of bug spray left outside the door - so clearly it was an ongoing problem. The owner messaged constantly on WhatsApp which I found really annoying (although check in instructions were good), wouldn't accept card payment so had to go and get cash out. Normally wouldn't be an issue but it was our last day in Vietnam so had no need for leftover cash so we wasted money.

• Megha (9/5): Superb - The room was very comfortable and had all the necessary amenities for a pleasant stay. Miss LyLy is the perfect host very accommodating and understanding. The property is off the beaten track and might be a bit challenging to Spot at first, but once you're in it's quaint and relaxing.

You can walk to most famous places and it is also good reachable for grab. It was quite calm at night and the airco works good!

• Jiri (3/5): Not worth the price - Not much to be honest. The room is extremely small for the price. The bathroom is separated only with thin glass doors. The location isn’t bad, it’s relatively close from the market.

• Olga (7/5): Good - It is more of a guest house than a hotel or hostel. It's in the middle of everything. Small but nice. I didn't see the owner, everything was done remotely, and many say it's bad, but to me it's perfect, I don't want to talk to anyone. It was quiet, and this is the most important part It has seen better days. Furniture is aged and scratched, but it didn't mean much to me. The rooms are small and are located on top of steer stairs. It was clean at first glance, but you could find corners that haven't seen water and cloth in a while. But the most alarming is the "you dirty it - you clean it/pay for it" rule. I guess it meant cleaning comes only after you leave, but this makes me feel icky. Isn't an accomodation on Booking supposed to do it? I guess I thought it was what it wasn't - a hotel, not a room for rent. My bad (?)
