- Mekhala (10/5): The best place near the Grampians! - Everything. The location, the cute little cabin, the warmth, the hospitality. The host Claire needs a special mention. She is vivacious, kind and very very accommodating. I needed something important but hadn't had a chance to stop on my way to buy it. Claire gave me one from her home. She is the kindest person I've met a long long time. I don't know how to repay the kindness! Would definitely recommend this place! If I've to nitpick then I would've loved a small lamp near my bed. But that didn't matter at all, because the bed was incredibly comfortable and I was sleeping like a baby in no time.
