Good food in a wonderful open air setting with great bird viewing. Very charming and comfortable cabin. Trails in very rough shape in places. More signage needed to prevent guests from being lost and not sure how to return to the cabins and restaurants.

The view of the beautiful surroundings from the room is fabulous. The staff are extremely helpful. The food is great. All that and hummingbirds eating from your hands. - Manuel (10/5): Luxury and nature combined for an exceptional bird-watching experience at Owl's Watch - I recently had the pleasure of staying at Owl's Watch in the Colombian Andeans, and it was an incredible experience. The cabin provided a luxurious retreat with fantastic views, including a breathtaking sight of Parque de los Nevados. The outdoor jacuzzi was a highlight, offering relaxation amidst stunning natural scenery. As a first-time bird watcher, I was thrilled by the abundance of bird species we encountered. The colors and diversity were simply stunning, with some species being endemic to the area, making the experience even more special. Our guide, Juan, was knowledgeable and passionate, making the bird-watching experience educational and enjoyable. Dennis and Adriana, the owners, were wonderful hosts. Communication with them was smooth and effortless, adding to the positive experience. The food at Owl's Watch was excellent, and the Colombian coffee was a delightful treat, further enhancing our stay. Owl's Watch is easily accessible from Manizales, making it a convenient yet secluded getaway. If you want to immerse yourself in nature, enjoy delicious meals, and experience exceptional hospitality, I highly recommend Owl's Watch. It’s the perfect place to take a break from work and have an experience birder will truly value.
