Le petit cadeau a l'arrivée !belle attention Le bunkhouse pour les ado cest plus que Génial. Il me manquait des informations au niveau de.la plage et des équipements mais les Hôtes mon répondu très rapidement donc jai manqué de rien.
• Valentin (8/5): - La vue et l'accès au lac lovering, le fait de disposer d'un canoë pour se promener sur le lac, les deux grandes terrasses avec BBQ, le spa. L'odeur du bunkhouse/garage transformé en chambre que les ventilateurs ne permettent pas de faire disparaitre
• Loubnabenali (9/5): Beaux moments en famille - Généralement, le séjour s'est très bien passé. Le propriétaire est très gentil, courtois et disponible pour répondre rapidement aux questions. Les informations écrite fournies par lui étaient claires et précises. Maison comme décrite dans l'annonce. Emplacement : proche de la plage/lac. Propre. Bien équipée : beaucoup de vaisselle, draps, serviettes, Oreillers, four, micro-ondes, BBQ, chaises, transat, hamac, jacuzzi.... vraiment excellent. Les deux lit de la maison sont confortables. Beaucoup de jeux pour les enfants dans le bunkhouse, ils se sont bien amusés. Nous avons bien profité du jacuzzi. Beaucoup d'insectes mais c'est normal c'est en plein nature (Prévoir ramener un insecticide). Prévoir un ménage plus approfondie (beaucoup de nids d'araignée) La grande chambre prévue pour plusieurs personnes (bunkhouse) se trouve dans un emplacement isolé de la maison, nous pensions au début que c'était un sous sol. Trop d'insecte et pas de salle de bain dans le bunkhouse: aller retour a la maison principale pour aller à la salle de bain, avec une famille et un enfant ce n'était pas évident la nuit. Le petit lit du bunkhouse : pas du tout confortable trop rigide, à changer. À améliorer : prévoir désinfecter le bunkhouse car rempli d'insectes volants et rampants. A rajouter des rideaux dans les fenêtres sans rideaux et des rideaux plus sombres dans les chambres avec rideaux transparent.

• Anonymous (10/5): A cozy, well-equipped stay with a great host—perfect for a relaxing family getaway! - We absolutely loved our stay! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at ease. The property is warm, inviting, and thoughtfully set up with everything we need. It was very easy to find and conveniently located, with a peaceful atmosphere that made it perfect for a relaxing getaway. The host was truly excellent—very responsive, easy to communicate with, and provided helpful local recommendations and answering all our questions promptly. Even though the weather wasn’t on our side during the trip, we still had a wonderful time. The house is so cozy and comfortable that staying indoors was just as enjoyable. Our family made lovely memories here, and we would definitely return. Highly recommended! Nothing.

• Karen (8/5): An idyllic location to enjoy the wonders of the eastern townships! - It was quiet and in a beautiful setting. The space was very comfortable with a practical and well equipped kitchen. The hot tub was lovely, especially after a day of skiing or skating nearby. The driveway was cleared and spacious. The view is beautiful. The owners were very responsive and helpful. This place is highly recommended! This was a winter holiday, but we could see the benefits of it for all seasons.
• Sonja (10/5): Great location, amazing lakeviews, Has everything for vacation getaway and more! - We had the most amazing stay at this lakeside cottage! The view of the lake from the porch was absolutely breathtaking--perfect for morning coffee and evening sunsets. The Boho design of the cottage made it feel cozy and inviting, with every little detail thoughtfully chosen. We didn't use the bunkhouse, but I could see it being a hit with kids or adults wanting to enjoy, and the house provides a lot of games for different activities during your stay. The hot tub was the perfect way to unwind after a day of skiing at Mt.Orford. The full kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. It truly felt like a home away from home. we left feeling refreshed and relaxed, and we can't wait to come back next year around the holidays! Bad weather on the drive to get to the house, but happy the driveway was cleared upon arrival
• Alexandra (6/5): Would not stay here again and would not recommend. - The house was nice and the two bedrooms downstairs were comfortable (except the mattress of the smaller bedroom). The open kitchen living room/dining area was nice and the view was OK. The bathroom was a good size. The listing on booking says 3 bedrooms, but the house has only 2. The listing does not show that the playroom with beds is in fact in a separate “bunkhouse” (basically a garage), which was ice cold and only had a wall heater that made an atrocious noise, so it was impossible to sleep in there. The upstairs couch, which was supposed to be a pull out couch, was broken and unusable. The mattresses in the “bunkhouse” were very old and worn through, unsuitable for a good nights sleep. The house is right by the road and not on the lake, but rather behind several other house with a view of the lake. The listing does not clearly show this. The house stank of air freshener when we arrived. There was trash by the front, which hadn’t been properly disposed of, and ash trays on the balcony that had not beed emptied. We moved the coffee table only to find an enormous amount of dirt, so we ended up cleaning the whole upstairs floors. Several of the kitchen appliances were either broken or filthy (ex: coffee machine was broken, raclette maker disgusting). The downstairs bathroom had a dirty, used, old toilet seat, on which you didn’t want to sit. The jacuzzi was unusable, they had thrown in so much chlorine that it burned your eyes when you opened the jacuzzi l. Our kids got in for 2min and got out crying. There was no railing on one side of the stairs, which is a huge fall/accident hazard and definitely not to building code. We had to grip our children to go down the stairs so no one would have an accident. This should be fixed immediately, the owner should not be allowed to rent this place for safety reasons.

• Coia (10/5): Fantastic stay all around! We will come back next year and thank you to the host - Cozy chalet with a beautiful view on the lake. Very relaxing but we were still just a 10 min drive from Magog. The bunk house is a fun bonus to the property. We loved it so much we’ll be booking again next year with friends!
• Nicholas (9/5): A perfect place to stay as a base from which to visit Magog or as a destination in itself! - The cottage was both a comfortable and fun place to stay, glorious on a sunny day, cosy on a rainy one (we had both). There is lots of space and amenities to accommodate a gang of family or friends, including a cool separate space for games and hanging out. - a sort of converted garage. Clean and spacious. The cottage is not on the lake, but not far, with canoe supplied etc. Josh and Jeannie were great hosts - very responsive, receptive and responsible. We had a great time.

• Nicholas (10/5): A relaxing weekend overlooking Lac Lovering - The place was the perfect getaway to head north and allow us to view the 2024 Solar Eclipse. The hosts were so friendly and accommodating. The space had everything we needed to enjoy a relaxing weekend. The deck/patio was the perfect private location for viewing the eclipse and even star gazing at night. The area is super quiet and has a nice view of the lake. The bed I slept in was also very comfortable. It is also not far from town that had a number of shops/restaurants to visit. All in all a great option if you have the chance to visit. The only thing I could possibly say here is we wish the hot tub was freshly cleaned beforehand. The water was clear and it worked great, it just had some noticeable things (clumps of hair?) floating around in it and the filter compartment was less than appealing to look at. That said though, it wasn't terrible and we still enjoyed it one day and it did not impact our stay one bit. Everything else was great.
