Guest Reviews
- Robert (6/5): -
- Niklas (9/5): Recommended - Clean, perfect location, welcoming and friendly staff, lovely little patio garden (you‘ll have to share it with mosquitos though and it‘s the only common area of the hostel).
- Wai (7/5): Good price and decent location - The room is very clean, the mattress is good. Staff is exceptional healthy and responsive. There’s no toilet paper prepared in my bathroom, and thus I have to “steal” a roll from the common toilet. Will recommend the owner to put a fridge and tea bag/coffee in the common area.
- Anthony (5/5): Good if no one else is staying and you don’t need a kitchen or a comfortable chair. - Nicely fitted out, good air conditioning, nice garden, quiet, central location. I had a nice stay mostly as I was pretty much the only person there. But make sure you read what I didn’t like below. The advert states it has a shared Kitchen, but this is completely untrue, there is no kitchen. What you have is a small microwave sat on a desk, with a kettle and a very small plug-in sandwich maker/grill that wasn’t clean, and a small toaster. There is no oven or hob, there isn’t a sink, there are no pots, pans, utensils, knives or forks, no cutlery whatsoever, nothing to prepare food with, no chopping board, no cups or mugs or glasses. Have you ever seen a kitchen that has no sink?? There is one tiny basin/sink in the bathroom that is next to the kitchen, and there is no door between the kitchen and bathroom, not very hygienic, you’d be closed down in England for that. Though this is Albania, but no door isn’t very private either considering the showers only have frosted glass around the cubicles. Mostly there was no one else staying whilst I was there, so not much of a problem for me, but if it was full with people this place would be completely unworkable.
There is also no lounge or anywhere to sit in doors, there was one diner table style wooden chair, and a low level coffee table in one of the dorms, that’s it for all three dorm rooms. You can sit outside in the garden, but it was too hot to sit outside during the day when I was there at 38c everyday, you do get the odd mosquito in the evening soo even then it’s preferable to sit inside mostly. And there are no chill out chairs, just metal table and chairs. There is a fridge freezer however, but it’s in a small outside brick shed at end of garden.
I did complain about plates and cutlery, but all he brought round was very flimsy disposable knives and forks, and small flimsy plastic disposable plates. He is a pleasant person, but speaks almost no English, and they really don’t seem to have any common sense as to what is required in a hostel. It’s really the strangest setup I’ve experienced in a hostel.
- Charlotte (2/5): Eerie - It was affordable and centrally located. Quite clean too. There was no one there to check us in upon arrival. The only time we encountered a staff member was after 10pm at night when they tried to open the door to the room we were sleeping in which made us feel uncomfortable and not safe. We decided to leave the hostel the following morning. The bathroom with toilet and showers does not have a door on it. There is barely a kitchen (just a toaster and kettle but no fridge). It said it was booked out online yet we only ever saw 1 other person in the hostel. It was clean and new but I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
- Ani (10/5): 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - Everything .
Best hostel i ever been , nice staff , wonderful hostel everything new and near the center . I will reccomend 100 % . Nothing .
- Aleksandar (10/5): Exceptional - The hostel is very new, everything there is in good condition. The beds were very comfortable and the bunks were firm. The location is great too, very short walk to the town centre. It’s self check-in, though the owner comes in occasionally and is very friendly. The parking is street parking, though we were able to get a spot directly in front of the hostel. Overall it was very good value for money Should have more toilet paper in the bathroom
- Alma (10/5): Best hostel I ever stayed! - This hostel is absolutely superb!
The location is perfect for the area we wished to visit. Room was newly renovated, extremely clean with very comfortable bed. Highly recommend!
- Eglison (10/5): My stay at this hostel was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, en - The hospitality was exceptional, and the property felt like a home away from home. Every detail was thoughtfully curated to ensure comfort and relaxation. From start to finish, my experience was flawless. There was nothing I didn’t like about this property.
