• Jennifer (1/5): Deceptive listing and mold - The listing for this property was falsified. No AC or microwave was provided. The owner removed the remotes to the AC units so we could not turn them on. When asked about this, he stated that the municipality would not allow AC use until June 1st, which was one week after our stay ended. For reference, I have stayed in Venice, Naples, and Rome on this trip which all happily provided AC, making me believe this was a lie made up by the owner. Additionally, no microwave was available. There is a common area with a stove and oven; however, the owner does not have them connected. It was clear that cost-cutting was prioritized at the expense of guests' comfort. Going as far as giving us a bottle of used shampoo as the "free toiletries" listed in the description, when it was heavily diluted with water to the point where you couldn't really use it. The unit also felt unclean, as the floors were sticky. During our stay, my partner became sick, and we discovered mold surrounding the windows. It is clear the property is not well maintained. Lots of mosquitos were in the room, and the bathroom also had a weird smell to it, if I had to guess it was probably more mold too. By far the worst stay I have had.

It would be perfect if come with big family or big group of friends..There are 4 rented rooms at the same floor. Shared kitchen, some leftover food in the fridge that makes it smell not good. And no dishwasher so it's inconvenient for us to have some food coz we need to wash it by hand before we leave the room.

• Yanan (2/5): Good apartment but no management - Apartment is spacious We arrived at 29-4 and walked a long distance from central station until we arrived at the downstairs of the apartment. But we couldn’t find person to open the door for us. We had to call the owner to find where he hid the key for us. Microwave was broken. The smoke alarm malfunctioned and went on itself for a couple of times. We didn’t see the owner/stuff during our stay. After we left on the morning of 1-5, he sent us message to ask us to pay the city tax. We had to wire it to his account.

• Matt (9/5): Florence is beautiful, Amalia Suites made it all the more perfect. - Simona was incredible. Very responsive for arranging early check in for us and so helpful with options to get to departing train station. Room was spacious and clean and fully stocked with everything we needed. Rest of property had excellent facilities and was clean and tidy. Room was secure and property felt safe and in a good location for exploring and travelling. Thank-you again for your help with our brief stay Simona, we will be back again someday.
• Chloec10 (10/5): Clean, comfortable and peaceful - A short walk from the train station and major tourist attractions, with good restaurants and a Carrefour Express nearby. The room was surprisingly large and had a lovely balcony as well. The coffee machine was a nice addition. I didn't cook anything in the shared kitchen but it's the first place I've stayed where I felt it was well equipped enough if I had wanted to! The bed was comfortable and my whole stay was wonderfully peaceful - highly recommended. There were only a few minor irritations. The shower curtain doesn't really prevent the floor being soaked, there are hardly any useable power sockets in the room, and it would be nice if housekeeping did a bit more than just switching the AC off each day - at least replenishing the drinking water and coffee pods would be good.

• Daniel (3/5): Disappointing & not value for money - Communication with the manager was good & helpful. Location was ok. The apartment was clean. Been advertised as luxury apartments but it is very basic indeed. The advertising of this is completely mis representation of the facts. The apartment consists of: One king size bed, 2 small bedside tables & lamps, one cupboard with shelves for clothes storage however half was taken up with 2 spare over blankets. One table behind the bedroom door with 1 folding chair - useful only as dressing table. Clothes rail & shoe rack. Plus wall mounted television. All this in one small dark room. Reasonable bathroom but very small with leaking shower. Which Teresa (manager) & owners are aware of. Amalia luxury apartments are located in a domestic block of apartments where local people live. They start to get ready for work around 0500 & their noise disturbed us. The internal hall & stairs smelled of tobacco smoke & other people’s cooking. The breakfast which was included in the price was totally inadequate. On the top of shelved unit was a tray with: kettle & coffee machine with tea bags & coffee pods. 3 small bottles of UHT milk & one bottle of mixed fruit juice. A packet of individual wrapped small cakes, 2 packs of small pre-toasted toast & individual jams. We did have the use of the shared kitchen with fridge.
• Gerhard (8/5): All ok - nothing to claim 🛄 - Everything was fine: clean and well maintained rooms in a more quiet part in the center. Friendly, efficient check-in process. There is coffee, tea, jam, water juice and some cake at the flat, when you arrive. It is a nice extra, which we didn't know before. I would not call it a breakfast.
• Έφη (9/5): Superb - It is a beautiful house. It has big rooms and it is clean. You have to walk about 12-15 minutes to reach the center. We would prefer this house again. The bathroom is really small and the breakfast is not good.
• Sofia (10/5): Exceptional - It was a comfortable and quiet apartment close to both nice restaurants, shop and sights. Spacious since we also had access to a shared kitchen space. A very friendly greeting when we arrived and lovely present with the trial of your olive oil! We would gladly recommend this place!

• Suly (9/5): Nice stay - We were so happy to have book this place. The communication with the host was great. She provided with information before our arrival. We booked the family room which consisted of two rooms and a private bathroom. The rooms seemed to be newly renovated. They were clean and nice. Breakfast was simple but a nice bonus. It’s on the first floor and there was no lift, however the host kindly offered to help with our bags. We had to walk maybe for 20 minutes to get to the city center.
• Andra (7/5): Quite area, next to mai attractions - It is at walking distance from major Firenze attractions, it is located on a quite street. The rooms and bathroom are small, however let's say it was expected to be like this in a historical building. What we did not like was the breakfast option. When you book you know it will include breakfast, but in reality you have in your room some Milk, biscuits and Jam, and that is all. We were quite disapointed by this. But we found soluționa nearby, there are several caffees where you can have a decent breakfast.

Within walking distance but also there's a bus route 4 mins away that takes you to the station, or the other attractions The set up is a little strange. It's like the accom can't decide whether it's a hostel or hotel. We got the junior suite, but there was only 1 chair, and the shared kitchen only had 2 and a small table; there's signs for things you get fined for even e.g cooking fish. There was also no glasses, just cheap plastic cups which was a little odd. My mum was in the double room but found the bed to be quite uncomfortable.
• Kyoko (7/5): Cozy apartment - Very friendly staff. The room was clean and organized just as it was shown on the photos. Our room had a nice view of the patio which is not accessible from the apartment but yet, nice to see some greens rather than having a view to the streets. The location is good but it's a bit far from the railway station especially if you carry a heavy suitcase because as it's common in Italy, pavement is not comfortable to walk with suitcase. The lock of the entrance door of this apartment (not the building entrance) was hard to open for me!

• Vsevolod (8/5): Very good - Great location, very close to the station and city centre. Two separate rooms and a private bathroom. The host was helpful and friendly. We only had a kettle and some cups in the room and a shared fridge. No way to cook a dinner or even reheat it in a microwave.

There was a key problem and if we did not make sure we had the correct ones we could have ended up with a wrong not functioning set. There is a sofa bed . Make sure you warn the owner if you DARE open it. they were pissed of about it, I do not understand why since we were two people and one of us moved from bedroom to sofa room in the middle of night. Felt like a thief doing that 🤨for my old mom !

• Tsai (1/5): The accommodation experience left me permanently traumatized and was the worst experience in my life - Nothing Do not stay here, as the facilities may pose a danger to your life safety. After I took a shower and was about to exit the bathroom, when I opened the door, the bathroom door suddenly exploded, causing multiple cuts and injuries all over my body due to the shattered glass. My hands and legs were bleeding profusely. I immediately contacted the host, who showed no intention of addressing the situation and displayed no concern for the safety of their guests. Instead, they demanded compensation from me. It was evident from the extent of glass fragmentation that the bathroom did not have reinforced glass, nor was any protective film installed on the glass door, completely disregarding the safety of guests. Later, the host came to my room to clean the bathroom filled with glass shards. However, they did not show any concern for my injuries. Instead, they once again demanded compensation from me. When I mentioned seeking medical assistance, the female landlord disdainfully asked if wounds like these required a hospital visit. The host completely ignored the safety of their guests. When they left, I dialled emergency line 112 myself and went to the emergency room in an ambulance with my mother in the middle of the night. In a situation where we couldn't communicate due to language barriers, we waited for the doctor for a long time, feeling unfamiliar and fearful. In the emergency room, the doctor treated my wounds, removed the glass fragments, and even performed an X-ray to check for any remaining shards inside my body, and administered a tetanus vaccine. The host not only refused to take responsibility for my injuries but also lied in their communication with Booking.com.

• Rhiannon (10/5): Excellent price, rooms and location - we would return! - This suite was better than we expected! We had a bedroom with a balcony, living area with TV and balcony and a private bathroom - all was clean and comfortable and it was in a great location, only 15 mins walk to the the conference centre I was visiting, and 20 mins to the train station (also 10 mins to Accademia Galleria to see David!) A small selection of microwavable bowls and plates would have been helpful to use in the shared kitchenette, but we made do with what we had
• Belinda (6/5): Clean bright room. A place to sleep. - The room was very clean and bright with big windows overlooking a garden. The bathroom is very modern and clean. Close to the supermarket 200 metres away. Lovely quiet room. Walking distance to most of the major attractions and to the train station. Good security. The noisy air conditioner in our room. It sounded like it needed a really good clean. The host refused to have the air conditioner looked at and said it had been cleaned one month ago. No sink or cutlery/crockery in the kitchen.

The coffee machine didn’t seem to work. Kitchen is just a table and a microwave but we could buy what we needed from the supermarket so that was ok.
• Molly (9/5): Great place - loved the location and the room was very comfortable! - The room was great, very comfortable and private. The bathroom was very big, and had the added bonus of a bidet, which was a real eye-opener for the kids and enormously entertaining for us to watch them wrap their heads around that concept. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Plus there was air conditioning, which we appreciated greatly. The location was excellent as well! The only thing they could improve on would be to add luggage storage. Other than that, I have zero complaints! I only wish we could have stayed longer.
