- Claudia (6/5): Lovely host, everything else can be better - Good location and the host was very nice and responsive. Sub-par cleanliness, kitchen facilities were poor, paper thin walls (we could hear the family upstairs very loudly). Wifi didn’t really work, only at times. There was no heating throughout but we were provided with a heater which we moved from one room to another.
- Silvana (7/5): Basic but ok for a very small town - It was spacious. The host Santiago, was very nice and helpful. The full size bed and the trundle were not very comfortable. No coffee maker, no regular pan for frying eggs. Not well insulated for sound. Walking distance to the middle of town, yet at the edge on a hill. Encountered a few spiders.
- Tracy (9/5): Superb - Eliane, her partner and Pata, the dog, were all super nice and very, very responsive via WhatsApp. The unit we had was big enough for us. The bed was firm and comfortable, though a double for me (5'8") and my husband (6''4") is always a bit of a tight fit. :) Puerto Piramides is a small, remote beach town. We brought groceries in Puerto Madryn, as the selection and price are much better. The stove is fueled with propane tanks and given the arid climate, you are encouraged to use water sparingly. Water pressure for me was adequate (I just quickly rinsed off) but my husband said it was somewhat weak for him... There is plenty of parking outside (no garage) despite the property description saying no parking. Overall, it was a cute little unit and met our needs for our 2 night stay. We had the windows open at night to stay cool - we were surprised because the property description says air conditioning but there is only a fan (and a space heater). Windows being open worked fine for ventilation in the bedroom, but then it was difficult to use the roller shade for privacy and darkness. We did hear and see a few mosquitos, but that might depend on the time of year you go? The unit we were in is by the stairs up to the where Elaine and company live. The stairs creak a little and you can hear activity upstairs but nothing that bothered us as Elaine and her partner upstairs were very respectful.
