Guest Reviews
- Darryl (9/5): Excellent experience - Location so much room value for money beds are comfortable spacious actually you need to see it to believe it. Very good value for money. I checked out the reviews before I got there. I was a little bit worried once I opened the door and done a tour around. I was so surprised. Location is awesome speechless with the size of the property.
As the owner of the clothing company 12 gage clothing, I will be back
- Lindy h (10/5): -
- Matthew (10/5): Ideal for a short stay in shinjuku - Great location Great entertainment room downstairs
- Sachin Soobben (2/5): - The only thing good about the place was the toilet. It does look good in pictures, however dont judge a book by its cover. Firstly I am a South African, I booked my flights and accommodation before the war could begin, I booked it flying via emirates via Dubai. I paid upfront and advance for the accommodation, when the war began, it was still weeks before my stay. So I contacted the Host, asking to cancel due to safety concerns flying via Dubai. My request was completely rejected with no negotiation what so ever. Leaving me with no choice but to continue with the trip.
Upon arrival at the apartment, the place is a 4 bed room apartment which sleeps 8 people, it only has a single shower. This makes no sense, as you on holiday. Imagining waiting for 8 people to have a shower in a single bath before you can even start your day is an utter waste of time.
The aircons do not function, its not English friendly, so if you English speaking its difficult to understand certain things. The fridge does not close properly and theres a constant beeping noise that will come from it. You can push it closed and after time it will start to beep again. At night, theres many sounds coming from the ceiling, from all over the house, from the aircons, so you dont have a peaceful sleep. The pillows are also terrible. I did complain to the host about my challenges, and her response was i must close the fridge single door at a time as if I dont know how to close a fridge which was an even bigger joke.
The host did not allow any later check out, and messaged me timelessly to be out by 11am. My flight is at 10pm at night. The host had a the next guest at 4PM. We had 10 bags still, atleast we could have left our bags there for slightly longer, which the host completely refused. The host was not very accommodating. The accommodation is very over priced.
- Harriet (8/5): Fabulous apartment very spacious - Brilliant location with everything on doorstep One bedroom had noisy aircon

- Matthew (8/5): Great location and spacious but not best value for money considering some improvements should be made. - The apartment was as advertised - spacious, clean, great basement with entertainment center, and great location with two JR stations nearby. Even though the place was great, a few improvements would have been nice. Here’s three examples: First, the beds, especially the sheets and pillows smelled funny. We washed the pillow sheets again, and this old, musty smell was still lingering. One of the pillows had mold on it. Second, the bathroom was outdated and if you took a shower, you had to wait 5-10 minutes for hot water. Lastly, the kitchen was nice, but very limited on dining wear and other utensils. There were no sharp knives for slicing anything. Several updates would have held.
- Alexey (8/5): Unusual, quite special apartment in a lively neighbourhood - really nice, unuually spacious, smartly designed apartment in lively neighbourhood (Shinjuku). 3-storey building with a separate entrance.
Nice amenities, all in good condition.
the host was responsive (though not super flexible: whatever is presumed by the description of the place and the rules was provided but not much more).
the location is great, if you are looking for some intense touristic experiences: Shinjuku area, with all its bars, small eateries and clubs (crazy and special), as well as some really dodgy places with aggressive barkers are within few minutes walk, so if you are into this kind of experiences, you will enjoy it (however, if you are searching for really quiet neighbourhood, and dislike having noise outside at night (until 2-3am), you might stay off this place) whoever rents the apartment shall be well aware of quite specifiс purpose of the place. it's designed (and smartly made) for the parties of a special kind: you may have some good time together - watch movies, play games and music, dance, sing, and even collaborate, etc - only until reasonable time (8pm). It's not for crazy night parties, and you have to respect the neighbours and surroundings.
However, once you book it for regular stay for a larger group, it might be not super comfortable:
3 'bedrooms' don't have proper wall partitions and sound isolation (it's just one room with a few beds, separated with fabric partitions) and the 4th is just a room with mats.
We were attracted by an unusual design of the rooms and a lot of extra facilities, but most of them are located in the basement - and designed - to make quality time for these 'day-time parties', hardly usable by regular tourists.
At the end, we were fine staying there, since it was just two of us, and it was enough space, but for larger groups it may make some issues.
Apart from this specifics, the apartment was all fine.
