• Anruo (10/5): Exceptional - Saira is a very good host, responded to our question quickly and even prepared chocolates and biscuits for us. The house is a well furnished walkout basement, located in a safe and quiet community, with everything we need, bright, clean and cosy. It is close to a lake, with beautiful view. We prepared the dinner and breakfast we like and spent a great night in the house. We really appreciate Saira's help and highly recommend other visitors to choose the house.

• Rae (9/5): Clean, well stocked accomodation - Spacious, clean, easy access to the washer and dryer. The host was excellent - very quick to respond to messages. She sent an explanatory message before we arrived with all the relevant information. Close to the city so was easy to get in and out. Easy parking. Lots of towels and amenities available A little noisy with the sound similar to a vibrating phone. The steps were a little difficult to navigate for my parents
• Alan (9/5): Overall we enjoyed the apartment and other than the stairs and overhead noise we were pleased. - We did our own breakfast. Location was a little further out of the main stream but very doable. It would have been nice to have known ahead of time about the walkway stairs leading to the entrance. They were kind of makeshift and were not very senior who needed a cane friendly as they were down hill and no handrail. Were a bit more concerning as we arrived after a rain and they were wet as well. Also they must have a small child which we could hear constantly running around above us. Dishes in cupboard were put away wet and previous renters must have spilt Coffee on counter and left a pool of it under the tray which was there.

• Emma (8/5): Spacious, cleanly, welcoming environment, with attention to detail. Would stay again! - Stayed 28-30th August 2024. This is my favourite place I've stayed in the Maritime provinces, and I've stayed in a lot of places here; it was so clean, cosy and welcoming with very happy vibes. HUGE, spacious basement apartment with lovely back garden access, smelt great, really clean and lovely decoration, with plenty of big fluffy towels for the bathroom and treats on arrival. Bathroom sink and separate sink had heated mirrors and good ventilation in the bathroom, which made them lovely to use as there was no excess water or fog. Plenty of closet space and a shoe rack. Wireless charging and chargers provided were a great touch. TV had options to log in to any streaming provider you might have, even Dutch streaming services, which was great for us as we are of English and Dutch nationality. Really appreciated our gracious hosts who invited us inside and provided water on our early arrival after 20 hours of travelling. Beautiful neighbourhood, very safe feel, with plenty of beautiful local walks and a friendly, cleanly and decent community. Easy to park on the driveway, and easy to drive anywhere nearby and there are peaceful surroundings with birds, nature and quiet neighbours. All amenities like hob, microwave, pans, cutlery, plates, mugs, kettle, coffee machine in great shape. And there's anything else you'd need for cleaning, like a washer/ drier. Check hosts comments and recent reviews for update on the below: The plug sockets and consequently the WiFi were a little finicky- they would turn on and off a little bit on our stay. We only noticed this with chargers and WiFi. We still got everything charged just fine, and easy to reconnect to WiFi immediately, but not ideal for working from home unless fixed because of WiFi disconnecting. I think the hosts will fix this easily. Footsteps upstairs were a bit audible as you'd expect with a basement, but not too much of a problem and we understand they have little ones. Didn't stop us from relaxing and getting rest. Overall as their first guests on booking.com, hosts weren't to know about this, and can easily fix it I'm sure, so don't take this as verbatim for your stay and have a look at recent reviews/ host comments. It was amazing and great value. :)
