• Lucas (10/5): The location was ideal for tourist locations, restaurants and shopping. It felt very safe! - The location of this apartment was wonderful. We felt very safe and loved all the options for food and shopping. It is easy to navigate the city by walking or taking a bus. The apartment was clean and had all the amenities you would need when traveling. There was no lock on the bathroom door. Couples staying together need to have a secure door to feel more comfortable when utilizing the restroom. The elevator was being worked on the day we left, so we had to carry our luggage down 3 floors. It would have been nice to have a warning in English.

Lovely welcome pack on arrival containing the basics needed after travelling - water, milk, packets of cereals, french toast, preserves. Saved us a trip to the shop so we could rest following the flight there. Host arranged our taxi to the apartment. Apartment was spotless and included everything required for a comfortable stay. The photos don’t do it justice. We were wowed on arrival. Beautiful 🤩 N/A
• Sonya (10/5): Amazing Stay – Couldn’t Have Asked for More! - We had a wonderful stay at this apartment in Rome. It exceeded our expectations — spacious, very clean, with new, modern furniture, and exactly as shown in the photos, perfect for our group of six. The location is excellent: about a 10-minute walk to the Vatican, with many restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The airport shuttle stop is only 8 minutes away, and there are great metro and bus connections. Most of the main attractions can also be easily reached on foot, which made exploring the city very enjoyable. We arrived late, and Massimo was there to welcome us, which we really appreciated (note that late check-in has an extra fee). The option for free luggage storage after check-out was also very convenient. Nice extra touches included coffee machines (Nespresso and Moka), breakfast snacks, milk, and bathroom amenities. The staff was friendly, responsive, and very helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Rome.

• Pablo (8/5): Excelente ubicación - La ubicación es inmejorable, a pocos minutos de la basílica De San Pedro, en una zona con restaurantes y todos los servicios pero tranquila y muy segura. Ideal para explorar Roma. El apartamento estaba limpio y las camas eran cómodas. Tiene casi todo lo que puedes necesitar para cocinar, etc. Estuvimos bien durante la semana que pasamos aquí. En general estuvimos bien, pero hubo algunas cosas que no nos terminaron de encantar. El apartamento no tiene microondas, algo que sería fundamental, teníamos que calentar la leche en una olla. El ascensor es muy muy antiguo y la mitad de las veces no funcionaba y tuvimos que usar las escaleras. Había obras en el piso de arriba y hacían bastante ruido por las mañanas. Si vas con niños o personas con poca movilidad, hay un tramo inicial de escaleras hasta el ascensor.

Mattresses very comfortable and with shutters and windows closed the apartment was quiet Air con units are loud and go off and on all night even when set to night mode. We used fan mode all night to avoid this but it mean the rooms did heat up throughout the night. If this place had newer air con without old compressors it would be a perfect

• Julio (10/5): Great place to visit the Vatican. We will love to be back for Christmas. - The locations was really great. After being there for a couple of days, I realized how easy was to commute from this place to any other locations. There are many things available near by which make it easier and comfortable to settle in. The house also provides with essentials to prepare meals and there are nearby grocery shops to buy extra groceries. I really like it overall. Perhaps the size of the shower was tight but yet doable.

Not far from the metro, super close to the Vatican and an easy walk to the Spanish steps area. The only thing that isn’t terribly close is the colosseum, but the metro takes care of that. There are tons of places to eat and shop in the area. Also, it is super safe. My family felt safe the entire time. The apartment was super clean and perfect for a family of five. Easy check in. Honestly there is not a lot to complain about. I guess you could say it is not on the cheap side, but you completely get what you pay for. A great neighborhood and location is well worth it for us.

We had an amazing experience staying at St. Peter's Home House. The location is unbeatable—just a quick walk to the Vatican and close to all the main tourist attractions. The host was extremely helpful and welcoming, and we really appreciated the thoughtful welcome basket and starter supplies. The apartment was very clean, the WiFi worked perfectly, and everything we needed was right nearby. There's a fantastic gelato shop right downstairs, plus a grocery store and several great restaurants just around the corner. Highly recommended! Honestly, it’s hard to think of any cons, but if I had to nitpick—I wish we had a few more towels.

The place was very secured and a nearby Carrefour express is a plus. The bus also stops in the next block so no need for a lot of walk. The antique elevator was charming.

It really felt like home away from home. My son has food allergies so the staff was wonderful about ensuring that there was no risk of allergens. Mary was such a kind hostess and was very readily available for all our needs and questions. Check out was easy and very easy communication with the hostess. All amenities in the apartment worked great and we especially appreciated the kitchen facilities with stove top as I was able to cook warm meals for my son. Overall, it’s a wonderful location and I would definitely recommend and stay here again for future visits to Rome. The noise level coming from outside throughout the night.

• Oleh (4/5): Disappointing - Worn out apartment. Absolutely unprofessional and unfriendly management. No good contact and understanding with clients. Or rather, no contact at all. No croissants, as they write in other reviews, no one brought: it's like a joke. Instead, they didn't even clean our place for a whole week, of course the last two days were especially difficult because of the large amount of dust on the floor. We can't recommend this kind of accommodation to anyone.

The apartment and the staff exceeded our expectations—we felt like at home. The staff delivered croissants in the morning so we could enjoy breakfast with espresso. The apartment was very clean and tidy, and each room had air conditioning. The staff was super friendly and helpful. All in all, it was a great experience. Nothing, everything was great.

It had absolutely everything we needed and Mary was really great and helpful, and I have to highlight (as all of the other reviewers) the delicious croissants we’ve had every morning! Location is excellent, as you can reach most of the landmarks easily on foot, and even if you don’t care about the location, you will definitelly enjoy the beauty and charm of an old building and the appartment.

• Ema4315 (10/5): Perfecto 🤌🏻 - St. Peter Home House was one of the most perfect home away from home, during our stay in Rome. I visited Rome multiple times and tried to find a perfect place with a good location. Until this time, nothing was as perfect as this one. I really enjoyed the apartment. Maria, was ao wonderful and i am so happy that i had the chance to talk to her on pur arrival day. The rooms were very clean, all of them. We had a basket full of italian breakfast and milk in the fridge as well. Plus, the most important thing and one of the kindest was that we had, fresh croissants (italian style) every morning left at the door. This thing was one of the things that made everything perfect. 😁 If i will ever find this place free, while i am going to be in Rome, for sure i will return here. Very close to Vatican, shops but a bit far away from the city centre. We like to walk to city as is not the first time in Rome. One little thing was that the heating in the first bedroom didn't work, during our stay so we had to use extra blankets. Plus there was not hot water in the first day, probably just for one small shower. But, for sure this can be solved. If you don't like to sleep in a nosy place, it won't be the best choice. The road is very busy and we could hear all the cars all night long. It will be ok, if there will be more towels and toilet paper for people who are staying for more then 2 nights.

The fact that every room was equipped with ACs was also a big plus. The location was really good if you also enjoy a bit of walking after eating a lot of pasta/pizza. The staff was also very nice. Some smart tvs in the rooms would’ve been nice, but that is just a nice to have for me.

• Vasile (10/5): Exceptional - We were very pleased with the St. Peter Home House, especially because the air conditioning worked in every room, considering that Rome recorded its hottest days during our stay, reaching temperatures over 40 degrees celsius. The beds were very comfortable, including the new extensible sofa in the living room. Thanks to the new soundproof windows, we didn’t hear the noise from the street. The welcoming host brought us croissants every morning, including the one in which we left at 7 am. All the main landmarks of Rome are within walking distance from here. It’s a very cosy apartment that made us feel like home during the hot July days in Rome.

Power is turned off when you leave the suite, but air conditioning works quickly. Quiet location with a beautiful antique elevator. Not very close to tourist attractions, except Vatican. Its about a 10 minute walk to Hop On Hop Off bus stop. Not that far, but not that pleasant when the weather is so hot.

Lots of run restaurants and a grocery store within a block. The lift was very old and a cool experience. There were big closets in the bedrooms. It was super nice to be surprised with croissants delivered to our door every morning. The kitchen was stocked with coffee and milk! and a bottle of water upon arrival. The snacks were a nice touch but unappealing. The apartment was kinda run down. Could use a paint job. The closet would open into the sconce light near the bed so it wouldn’t open all the way and it destroyed the sconce shade. There was nowhere to put any toiletries in the bathroom. I ended up moving the ironing board into the hallway to use as a counter. The Netflix wouldn’t work. The remote for the air conditioner in the main room didn’t work so we used another room’s remote and that worked. The curtains hang down and block the AC vents. We had to open the curtains to avoid getting too hot, but then the daylight would wake us in the morning. This could be solved by installing blinds that are right up to the window.

Well decorated, and comfortable.Also great central location, at walking distance from the Vatican. Friendly staff. The coffee maker did not work. We let the apartment manager know but they weren’t able to replace it on time, so no coffee for 2 days in Our apartment. The manager suggested we go upstairs to another apartment to use the coffee maker from. A shared apartment, which we did. That was a bit disappointing considering we paid for the privacy of our own space. Still the overall experience was very good. We would book this property again.
• Deborah (10/5): Our family of four enjoyed our stay at this very pretty, quiet, and well-located apartment! - Despite arriving after midnight, we received a very warm welcome that included a detailed orientation to the apartment and the city. The apartment was lovely, comfortable, and perfectly situated (a 10 minute walk to St. Peter’s in one direction and a 20 minute walk to the Spanish Steps in the other). We loved staying in a quiet and less touristy area of Rome while still being close to everything. We arrived too late to stock up on groceries, so we really appreciated the cold water and milk in the fridge along with the snacks and small boxes of cereal. As other reviews have mentioned, the croissants/brioches delivered to our door every morning were exceptional! Our stay was wonderful! The A/C worked well, but the unit in the living room/kitchen was very loud and didn’t have a working remote control (although one of the bedroom remotes worked with it). Also, the building has a beautiful old-fashioned elevator that could only carry 3 of us at a time, which meant 1 person in our family always had to wait or use the stairs. It wasn’t a big deal for us, but it might be a problem for families with multiple young children or trouble taking stairs.
