Guest Reviews
- Yoonjung (4/5): The location couldn’t make up for all the bad points - location was good. I’m not the kind of person who usually leaves negative reviews, especially knowing that this might be someone’s important source of income. But as a traveller, our time and energy are limited — and I feel it’s necessary to share my experience to help others make an informed choice.
I deeply regret not trusting the negative reviews I read before booking. Unfortunately, they were all true. I stayed here for four nights, and I had to deal with severe noise on two of them.
On the first night (Saturday), there was constant yelling, loud laughter, and shouting from outside. Because the area is surrounded by buildings, the noise echoed and felt even louder. I woke up every hour throughout the night and felt exhausted the entire next day. Still, I tried to stay positive.
However, what happened on the last night was truly shocking. Around 11 PM, loud hammering, drilling, and maintenance work started the very next building — and it went on until after 2:30 AM. I couldn’t sleep at all and was completely drained the next day. I even sent a message to host around 1 AM asking for help, but there was no reply.
I won’t go into detail about the old door locks and outlets — others have already mentioned those in their reviews, and they’re accurate too.
Please consider other options before booking this place. I genuinely hope my experience helps someone avoid the same situation.
- Matt (9/5): Superb -
- Lucy (6/5): Pleasant - It is really good location. Spacious. It is a building more than 500 years old. The socket on the wall doesn't suit all chargers. I tried to contact the the owner 3 times to ask about how to turn on the heater. No reply at all. The main door takes a lot of effort and luck to open each time. The toilet is so close to the bidet that a big size person wouldn't fit.
