- Jesebell (5/5): - Spacious and minimalist. I find it odd that this property does not have coffee machine.
Shower curtain is due for replacement.
This is a basement, expect that you’ll hear footsteps and kid/s running around.
I received a message regarding vent cleaning early morning of our first day; we were tired from a long drive and we slept in, but woken up by the loud noise as the cleaners have already started. It could’ve been done prior our stay.😌
- Jessica (5/5): Save your money and stay elsewhere. With a lot of changes, this place could have real potential, but it’s just not there - Spacious apartment with plenty of storage.
• Well-equipped kitchen with modern stove, coffee machine, and thoughtful extras like biscuits, cutlery, and coffee.
• Great laundry setup with washer, dryer, and detergent provided.
• Handy desk for working.
• Extra supplies (toilet paper, kitchen roll, coffee) were much appreciated for a longer stay.
• Prompt response when there was a maintenance issue.
• Quiet, friendly neighbourhood with nice walking routes.
• Easy access and well-lit path to the property. • The noise was relentless and completely disrupted our stay. It was not just occasional - we were regularly disturbed by multiple people’s heavy footsteps, running, and children’s toys being rolled or dragged across the floor above us. At times, it genuinely felt like the noise was happening inside our own space.
Although the toys were moved further upstairs after we raised the issue, very little changed in terms of overall noise levels, and we were still being woken during the night. It should not be the guest’s responsibility to have to ask and remind the host to manage basic issues like this, especially when it is affecting sleep and overall comfort.
• If you are looking for peace or staying more than a couple of nights, this might not be the place for you.
• The apartment has very little natural light, which made it feel dark and gloomy in the early evening, especially difficult for a longer stay.
• we would say the space is not suitable for longer stays. There was no personal greeting when we arrived or farewell when we left, despite ongoing communication during the stay (including multiple messages about noise and rubbish outside the back door). We received a generic email at the end asking us to give feedback in person rather than through a review, but there was no message to say goodbye, thank you, or good luck with our move, even though the host was well aware of our circumstances. It felt impersonal and dismissive, especially after such a frustrating stay.
• Security could be a concern for some. While we personally were not worried, the apartment cannot be locked, and someone entered without our confirmation to fix something while we were out. If you are a solo traveller or someone who values privacy and security, this might not be the right place for you.
• There were no personal touches or family friendly considerations, even though we had shared in advance that we were relocating internationally and travelling with a young child.
- Joshua Ansah (4/5): I was disappointed. It does not deserve the price. Is a nice neighborhood. - The neighborhood was nice The kitchen was empty
The towels were old
Dryer was full with sheets, towels and napkins

- Olena (7/5): - everything was fine. the only thing that could be added is tea or coffee, so that you could wake up and make a drink. it's not too expensive for the owners, and for the tenants it's very nice. a simple coffee machine would be the best thing in the morning)

- Oleksandr (8/5): Very good - Location, cleanliness, grate kitchen, laundry in the apartment + 2 bedrooms ! Traveling with two kids- all mentioned Extreamly important ! Extra blanket in each room will be beneficial (kids) Some cosmetic damages that was spoted on the wall , could be "hided" with extra poce of furneture, or fixed, as thouse dents in the wall a first thing you see, entering the apartment... As well as at the advertisement post, a hydromaseging bath was mentioned, but in the room itself a regular bath tab installed. Not like we was needed, but our kids was asking about "bably bath" :)
- Anish (8/5): Very good -
- Emmanuel (9/5): Nice family time.kids felt at home - Clean and spacious Nothing
- Noemi (8/5): Very good -
- Ashokchakravarthi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Syed (2/5): Overall it was not nice - Rooms were clean Location
Not value for money
No facilities
- Kris (8/5): Very good - Nice layout. Good neighborhood close to everything. Would be nice to have a coffee pot (or kuerig) on site for mornings. Thermostat raised temperature to 22 celcius every night at 11 pm - we found it way too hot. I was unable to adjust the schedule, but could stay awake until 11:00 to turn it down manually to 18.5 (16 would have been more comfortable).
Notes: (not a like or dislike) Hot and cold taps in kitchen sink and bath/shower were connected backwards. Sink drain in bath draining very slowly.
- Nyjong (10/5): Exceptional -
- Janet (7/5): Good - It was clean and quiet The property is great but the location is a food desert! Also, one of the towels
- Ravinder (10/5): Exceptional -
- Oksana (10/5): wonderful - very excited.
- Juan (10/5): Exceptional - The location
- Luz (9/5): Superb -
- Yuriy (9/5): Superb - Fresh, clean, good location for Banff visiting, calm neighborhood N/a
- Sara (6/5): adequate for 1 night - very clean and new As it was a basement there was no natural light and the air con kept coming on throughout the night. Could also hear people upstairs when they walked around even though they were not loud. You need a car as nothing walkable, but that wasn't an issue for us. Disappointed that there was no coffee or tea available. Do not want to buy when only there for one night so had to travel to get a coffee (15 mins)
- Leonila (7/5): Good - Nice space ,new and clean No space for parking ! They ask the guest parking on the street! Which is sometimes no slot! And far ,They should atleast offer 1 slot parking for guests
- Matt (10/5): Good location, Private, quiet, excellent price, clean, Good Tv, good A/C, Comfy beds, beautiful kitchen, Would recom - Good location, Private, quiet, excellent price, clean, Good Tv, good A/C, Comfy beds, beautiful kitchen, Would recommend without a doubt,
- Gebre (7/5): Good - suite is new and bright
- Alberto (7/5): Good location, but requires some attention to detail. - Location was convenient to Banff and provided easy access to the airport. Private entrance and spacious. Surprised at the condition of this 'new' rental. Perhaps damage from inconsiderate 'guests?" When we arrived, we reported to the hosts the condition, which they said they were aware of. Broken towel bar, holes in the living area wall, scuffs and scratches throughout. Had something fall under the sectional and it was a mess under there, dust bunnies, empty water bottle and more. Just surprised by the condition and lack of concern.

- Natalia (6/5): Pleasant -
- Agnes (8/5): Very good -
- Farhan (1/5): Bad -
- Shawarna (9/5): Comfortable but not overly clean - It was very modern
The beds were comfortable
Good location There was some kind of animal hair
The bedrooms had very little light
- Suzanne (10/5): Exceptional - It is located in a quiet neighborhood in the north and very west corner of Calgary.. Very clean 2 bedroom apartment basement suite.
- Leyton (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alison (7/5): Good - Good location, it was a quiet neighbourhood, felt safe, it was very clean. Enjoyed the free towels and clean bedding
- Breanna (6/5): Nice & quiet neighborhood location! Very nice and modern property great for families. - The price and the location were great. The property met my families needs. It was very nice and modern. The neighborhood was safe and quiet. We really appreciated the laundry room allowing to wash items needed for travel. - The property had damage and black marks on the walls near the luggage racks that needs to be repaired/cleaned. I reported it to the landlord but it would have been nice to be forewarned.
- The basement suite was nice, but I think the rooms need a mirror or extra mirrors need to be added to allow for multiple visitors to get ready and share the bathroom.
- Suggest adding a path to the side entrance door. The cardboard box path would not have prevented mud being tracked into the space.
- The property is over 1 hour from Banff NP nit great for access to the National Park but great for accesing downtown Calgary. Suggest updating the listing advertisement.
- (Optional) Provide amenities like coffee or tea for early morning.
- (Optional) More towels, kitchen broom & dust pan, trash liners for all waste baskets.
- Teresa (8/5): Very good - Very clean and comfortable! Beds slept great! Have to park off site (we didn't realize that, and parked in the driveway) and to access the basement unit, you step off the front walkway onto a sloped sort of grassy area then to a bare dirt area before you reach the wooden steps. Then you go down a flight of steps to the basement. So, if few windows doesn't bother you, and feeling like you're "going 'round back" to the door, and having the host above you (evidently with small stomping children) then this place is for you. There was also a lot of construction (putting in sidewalks?) in the whole development so the traffic situation was sketchy. It really seemed misrepresented, but it was extremely clean.
- Eagle (7/5): Basement suite close to Calgary Airport - Furnishings, layout. 1.Access was sloped/uneven, and dirt, with very little sod.
2. no parking on property.
- Richard (9/5): Great value, quality property that I’d recommend! - Good parking, quiet area, great amenities, great value ! Still a grass and dirt side entrance however not a deal breaker by any means.
- Kadatz (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michelle (10/5): Well appointed, brand new apartment in a great location - especially if you are skiing at Winsport! - The hosts were very responsive and helped us out immensely as our plane flight was cancelled and we were able to book another night to avoid staying at the airport. The apartment was "brand new" and well appointed. If my son competes again at Winsport this will be our FIRST choice for accommodation. It was close to Winsport. It was also very QUIET which we appreciate. So much better than staying in a hotel (nothing against hotels). Peaceful is the word that comes to mind to describe this flat! Thanks so much to these hosts 😃
- Richard (9/5): Thoroughly enjoyed the stay, excellent unit no issues at all and would recommend a stay here ! - Excellent location, good parking, quiet area, very nice clean unit ! Side door entrance walkway was bare dirt and muddy and felt bad for tracking the mud and dirt in to the unit .
- Melissa (4/5): It was a clean place to stay between Calgary and Banff but needs finishing touches and attention to detail - It was conveniently located It was not easy to find, the path to the door was unfinished, uneven and dangerous. There was wet linen and towels in the washing machine and a wet duvet in the dryer making it unusable
- Linda (10/5): Great safe place to stay with lovely hosts! - Beautiful clean modern basement in a lovely quiet area, hosts were wonderful anything you asked for was delivered within minutes! very accommodating.
Only 20 mins from the Airport by car, there is a train that takes you into downtown which is a 10 min car journey away walking takes about 50 mins, you would benefit from a car staying here for convenience as it is doesn't have much nearby, would defiantly book again and recommend. Only one mirror in the property (bathroom), would benefit from full length mirrors in the bedrooms, the access to the front door is not great you need to walk over grass and mud, which is hard with suitcases.
- Binoy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jamal (8/5): Very good - Brand new and clean Air conditioning was not good.
- Kathy (8/5): We would definitely come and stay again. - We loved the response of the owners and their kindness to buy a blender when we asked if there was one. The location was great! Getting into the apartment was a bit difficult as it was mud up to the side door.
- Jesus (9/5): Superb -
- Kory (9/5): Superb -
- Anonymous (10/5): Satisfied, good for family stays. - I stayed with family for 3 nights. The property is in good condition, recently repaired. It’s a newly built house in nice, safe area. There were all the needed utensils&towels as well. Good for family stays.
