- Katherine (9/5): -
- Deborah (10/5): Great house, stunning views - What a great house. Right on the lake, gorgeous views. Super close to everything I was looking for. Very comfortable. Will definitely return.
- Lise (8/5): It was a great stay. Thanks! - We used the cottage as a base for a special occasion. It was cozy and as expected. Everything is supplied, and the lake view is spectacular.
- Christopher (10/5): A perfect family getaway! - The location was beautiful. So easy to find. Secluded from the main road and right on the lake. Beautiful view. Nothing. We had no complaints at all.
- Waqar (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tharmila (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mike (9/5): Enjoyed our stay in a well equipped cottage, large enough for 6 people - On the lake. Cute and well decorated Fish fly season
- Jim (8/5): Very good - Being on the lake. The place was cozy and perfect for our needs. For being in wine country, it seemed odd that there were no wine glasses available to use, only champagne and martini glasses.
- John (10/5): A wonderful place to unwind. - Great location overlooking the lake, with a back deck and a patio with barbecue.. A wonderful spot for relaxing or entertaining friends.
- Scott (10/5): A place to forget about life for awhile - Beautiful location and has everything you require to unwind.
- Andrea (8/5): Very good -
- Scott (10/5): Spectacular place to stay - This place was amazing and exceeded expectations.
Picturesque and cosy it was everything we were looking for.
- Grady (10/5): A relaxing getaway with great lake views. - This lakefront home is very cozy (we stayed in the winter), had great views and everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. It was so nice to have little "extras" provided for, such as coffee pods, lots of toilet paper, lux bedding and comfy pillows, etc. The host was also VERY responsive and kind.
- Emma (10/5): Relaxing stay right on the lake - Wonderful view of the lake from the living room, bedrooms and back deck.
Kitchen was extremely well equipped and heating during winter was cosy.
Joe's cafe 8 mins down the road is our absolute favourite. Nothing. It was exceptional for the price.
- Julie (10/5): Exceptional - The view was stunning.
The location was perfect.
Jackie was quick with communication.
- Debra (10/5): Exceptional - The location was great. The owner was so nice and quick to respond to any questions. The cottage itself was so cute and right on Lake Erie so it has a beautiful view for your morning coffee! There isn't anything I didn't like.. The only thing was trying to find switches for lights and the fireplace , and the bedroom heaters was a bit confusing. But that's nothing, it was great!
- Jana (9/5): Lovely lake holiday - It was clean and well maintained
- Mary (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nellie (9/5): We really enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to return, possibly next year. - This property is right on Lake Erie and great for watching the sunrise and sunset. Between the sound of the waves and the comfy bed, I slept really well. The kitchen is well equipped and everything was clean and maintained, which made for a very pleasant stay.
Kingsville and Leamington are reasonably close by. There is only one bathroom, which might become a problem if you had 6 people staying.
- Marilyn (8/5): Very good -
- Lana (10/5): Exceptional - Clean, quiet and right on the water. Bright and homey with a cute little beach next door. Comes complete with everything you ever could have forgotten to bring. I didn't like leaving to go back home.
- Arun (9/5): Beautiful gem of a family stay on the lake. - Beautiful gem on the lake, well appointed.
- Jennifer (10/5): Exceptional -
- Supreet (9/5): Excellent location and value for money. - Location and water views. Everything a family needs for stay was there. BBQ needs some attention. I wish they had 1 more washroom or separate toilet and shower.
- Kuljit (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing facilities,great view,wonderful experience. Only 1 washroom...wish there was a powder room too
- Kevin (10/5): So relaxing - Cozy cottage. Peaceful, quiet, and relaxing. All the amenities one could want.
- Melody (10/5): Piece of Paradise - Well stocked kitchen. Had absolutely everything you could need: lots of pots, pans, enough plates for a few meals. Even though we brought everything we needed for food, there were plenty of spices and some extra food if you needed extra tea, coffee, pasta etc. The front room had a great gas fireplace that warmed the place up quickly. The furniture and beds were very comfortable, bathroom was lovely and well stocked with toilet paper and towels. The cottage is situated right on Lake Erie literally a few steps from the door to the little sun room. There are plenty of places to sit inside and outside to make the most of any kind of weather you might have. It is a quick 45 minutes to Point Pelee and a 20 minute drive either way to shops and restaurants. I will return if ever in this area.
- Margaret (8/5): This was a beautiful cottage, right on the lake, very comfortable, and great value for money! - I'm not sure the happy faces above registerdd my ratings: just in case, here they are:
Host : 10 - very responsive when we emailed and arranged to have an extension cord delivered
Facilities: 9 - beautiful cottage, very comfortable
Cleanliness: 9 - clean and tidy
Comfort: 10 - beds were very comfortable, also chairs, sofas, outdoor furniture; great to have option to sit in front when it was chilly and windy
Value for money: 10 - compared to other places I looked at, this was excellent value for money
Location: 10 - loved being right on the water, neighbours were very quiet; beautiful environment
Keys: 10 - keypad system was super easy and convenient
We loved having two floors for those who wanted to go to bed early, and the beautiful view of the lake from any part inside the cottage. We also appreciated the two places to sit outside: one overlooking the lake and the other more sheltered We found the entire bathroom got wet when someone took a shower; could there be a curtain that separates the shower from the sink and toilet area?
My daughter whacked her head twice coming down the stairs - we are all tall people. Could a red or yellow tape be put across the area where the second floor comes down over the stairs, to draw attention to that hazard?
We were a family of 4 adults and one child, and when cooking spaghetti and baking chicken, needed another larger pot and a larger baking dish - we used the larger frying pan to cook spaghetti sauce and a cookie tin for the chicken
Other items I would have liked were: a steamer for vegetables, a larger bowl for making Cesar salad, a wooden spoon, a large serving spoon without slots in it; a ladle; and tongs for serving spaghetti and salad
The lighting in the living room limits reading in the evening - another floor lamp would help.
None of these are deal-breakers, just nice-to-haves
