- Amy (10/5): A wonderful stay, I highly recommend this as a great stop between Melbourne and Adelaide. - It was a friendly, clean and comfortable accommodation. It was fun to stay in a tiny house!
- Ebony (7/5): great stay but be careful of hidden cleaning fees after stay - Nice peaceful location, really comfortable and well equipped unit (all kitchen utensils/cooking facilities) with great communal facilities (pool table, common kitchen and BBQs, lounge area). After our stay I was messaged by the property being told to pay an extra cleaning fee. The staff said that we left the room in a state that requires “more effort than usual to clean” and the type of cleaning required wasn’t covered by the “standard cleaning fee”. After questioning this I was told the fee was for not emptying our rubbish in the inside bins into the property’s wheelie bins, not washing dishes, and for smoking inside (I am pregnant so there definitely was no smoking inside). The only check out instructions given by staff at reception and during our stay was to return the keys at reception at check out which we did. I intentionally don’t use apps like airbnb to avoid stays with ridiculous check out cleaning checklists and fees (emptying bins really shouldn’t be considered extra cleaning for staff), and this property isn’t up front with their policies and fees which is a shame.
