- Catharine Ann (6/5): Spacious flat, in a great location that is in serious need of major TLC - We were two couples who stayed here for six nights while visiting London. There is no building manager but we communicated with the host via WhatsApp. Response time was quick and detailed instructions along with pictures were provided, although I found it odd that we had to look in the garden, under a rock to find the keys. Be advised that anyone with mobility issues may find it difficult to negotiate the steep flight of stairs to reach the main entrance of the building.
The apartment was very spacious, with two full bedrooms and bathrooms as advertised. There was an additional toilet in the laundry room. The location of the apartment is ideal, close to an Uber boat, Bus 87 and the tube. There is a food market near the bus station and a well-stocked convenience store just around the corner. Reality did not match the pictures posted. Once I got over the shock and disappointment of the state of the apartment, I reviewed some of the previous reviews. Clearly, the maintenance of the apartment and cleaning standards have been neglected for some time.
The furniture in the living room was worn, and no matter how many times we cleaned the dining room table, it remained sticky. The blinds throughout the apartment were a mess and could use a good cleaning. The balcony door to one of the bedrooms was misaligned and would not close properly. We could not sleep one evening as the wind whistle through the gap. The window in the master bedroom would not close properly thus our friends could not get a decent night sleep due to the early morning street noise. In all fairness, I raised these latter two issues with the host who responded that he would get someone to come over to look at it, but we felt uncomfortable having someone in the apartment while we were not there.
Midway through our stay, a panel from the bedroom wardrobe fell off, narrowly missing our friend who was walking by. Thankfully, no one was injured. When we examine the panel, it was clear that it had been repaired in the past. The beds in the bedrooms were past their prime and either should be replaced or a foam covering provided as the springs dug into our backs.
The entire apartment is in need of a fresh coat of paint as the walls were both dirty and scuffed. The apartment could also use a deep cleaning and did not meet the standards that I expect in a rental property. We found several pots with caked on food, we washed down the kitchen cabinets which had caked on food and finger prints, the dishwasher has not been cleaned for some time, there was a layer of dust over several heating elements, furniture, under the beds, the sinks did not drain properly and we had to clean the coffee maker before it would work. I would not stay here again.

Con un Tesco a mano y cerca de todo, más una vista inmejorable, del Támesis, no pudimos haber elegido un mejor lugar.
- Mere (8/5): - The property was in a great location a short walk to local train station and bus station the local Tesco just outside ground level down a couple stairs so close. The Uber wharf can be seen from the balcony. Plenty of room 2 full bathrooms with a toilet as well as a 3rd toilet in with the laundry. Kitchen well equipped. The main bedroom has a queen bed and a single, while the other bedroom has a double/queen. There are only two bedrooms, which worked well for my family; however, if you need three bedrooms, this property isn’t suitable. There isn’t a third sleeping option in the lounge unless you’re comfortable sleeping on the couch. The furniture could use updating, as it was quite worn. For the price everything warranted it but the lounge didn’t.
- Patricia (6/5): Flat is okay, but needs a refresh. Furnishings are not the best. Flats in an excellent location. - Proximity to the tube and to the Thames River Uber Taxi’s. Access to the flat street entrance from Uber drop off. Bit of a walk and having to carry luggage up 2 sets of stairs was a bit more than expected. Used portable heater in living room (wall unit did not work. Sofa and loveseat have stretch covers on them which makes you wonder what’s beneath. Beds are quite hard. Blinds in each room were a mess. Lost power for several hours on our last evening, but owner was very responsive.
Outside noise comes through bedroom windows - and it was very noisy during October nights. The proximity of the flat to transport is wonderful. The Thames Uber Taxis were a godsend.

- Derek (8/5): Loved our stay and would definitely stay again! Spacious, had everything we needed. Owner very helpful and so easy to de - It’s not the Ritz BUT apartment was spacious and had everything we needed for a great stay! Having 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a washing machine and dryer, a lift, a little Tesco supermarket in the bottom of the building and an Uber Boat at our doorstep was amazing. Beds were comfy however a nice padded memory foam mattress topper would take them up a few levels… Warm apartment, I imagine would be hot in summer but there are fans in each room. Owner was very helpful and so easy to deal with! Price - reasonable 👌 Some minor cleaning and maintenance issues - dining table top needs replacing/up cycling and laundry cupboards in need of repair. When raised with owner were well received and addressed immediately. Outside noise can be loud (welcome to London!) so would suggest ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper. We tired ourselves out everyday so we slept well! NONE of the above affected our stay and would stay again!!
- Deb (9/5): Great location!! - The location and majority of the flat were awesome! Having the easy accessibility to the Uber Boat was extremely nice. The kitchen was clean and well appointed. The bedrooms were good - very large. The views from the living room area were really nice, overlooking the river and the city. There were fans in every room. There was a washer and dryer in the unit. It didn't have a coffee maker, but did have a hot water pot and instant coffee.There were some issues with the windows, but they were apparently being repaired the day we left. The balcony off one of the bedrooms was cluttered and would not have been a good place to hangout. The air conditioner was portable and needed the door to the balcony in the living room area to be open for it to vent effectively. There are a few stairs that must be climbed to get to the door of the building.

- Laura (7/5): Good - Great location with excellent communication from the owner and staff. It's obvious the owner does care about guest experiences. The kitchen was well stocked and nicely laid out. It was quite a plus to have separate washing and drying machines rather than the combined units in most other places. Lots of space and the view of the Thames is a bonus. The flat is in need of updating. New mattresses as well as better living room furniture and a fresh coat of paint would do wonders. We love very firm mattresses but these hurt our backs. Black out drapes rather than mini blinds would upgrade the unit.

- Richard (10/5): Loved the flat and location - For anyone staying here, the location to the tube and bus is fantastic. You can go underneath the intersection or cross easily at the top. Bus 87 was scenic and great for getting us to Westminster/Big Ben/theater district, and not too full. Train was fast to Victoria if you use it.
There are restaurants along the railroad past MI6 too if needed. The Uber Boat is great but full on weekends but still doable.
The Tesco downstairs was great as was having the Pret a Manger as well. Elevator was easy to our floor. Internet was great.
Very happy about the flat. The beds are a bit harder than in the US btw but that’s normal.

All essential items and basic necessities were provided. The cleaner was present when we checked in and helped explain all gadgets. Safe & secured, has a bunch of convenient stores around, facing the waterfront, you can sit in the balcony & enjoy a mesmerizing view of the Thames.
The accessibility is good, very few steps into the building.
The property is considered very spacious considering you are in the UK & it was very spacious, 2 Large bedrooms with attached 2 full baths, one half bathroom on the enternace. As we step into the property, I was shocked by the worn off furniture, everything was old & worn off.
It was quiet dusty as well, me and my daughter have an Asthma problem, within hours of our stay, we started coughing & sneezing.
The Pillows had no cover on them, the Bed linens looked like it just came out of the washing machine, the mattress in the second bedroom & the extra bed was all worn off, you can feel the springs of the mattress, the padding was almost completely gone.
We tried to clean the apartment just to find out that the Vacuum cleaner was broken as well.
The Sofas in the living room had a ragged clothing covering them, with many stains on the seats.
We had to wash the Towels & the Linen before using them, we were not sure if they were clean or not.

Host was very attentive and pleasant, went above and beyond purchasing a travel cot for our stay! A balcony door and window didnt seal very well allowing some street noise to enter.

Location can’t be beat with restaurants, a small supermarket and gym (daily access for fee) all downstairs!!

- Charles (7/5): Beware of the unit's Concierge - The location and facility were great. Very clean and great view within walking distance of restaurants and transportation. A convenience store was within a few hundred feet of the building entrance. The concierge service was poor. Communications via telephone and texts were problematic.
We had problems with the initial accessing of the building (key hidden in the flowers). Although we complained about the keys and automatic lock not working for getting in and out of the unit, promises to take care of were delayed until we were leaving probably because we arrived on Friday and left on Tuesday. The inflatable bed had leaks.
Always received responses from Concierge that previous guests did not have the same problems. Concierge directed initially that we should not check with the front desk concierge services. That was an early sign of this being unusual---we are not supposed to talk about renting the unit or be seen with luggage coming and leaving the unit.

Extraordinary friendliness of landlord. - The area of Lambeth where th flat is located is absolutely great, nearby the Thames river, as well as the tube station and the grocery stores. It ´s the quiet place, not so far from the heart of the city. Friendliness of the landlord is extraordinary

Not having the flat manager to talk to was weird although he was very prompt in answering WhatsApp messages except on arrival when we couldn't find the building.

- Marina (10/5): Amazing appartments in the heart of London - The accommodation was very clean, comfortable beds, large rooms including bathrooms. The biggest advantage of the accommodation are the two balconies. The living room has a wonderful view of the river and the city.
The distance to the train, bus station or metro was approx. 2 minutes.
You can walk to the center in about 20 minutes.
The host was very polite, communicated immediately and clearly.
Next time I will definitily order the same appartments. There was nothing to complane, everything was perfect

Riverside restaurant near flat and was very nice and staff lovely Asked to drop off cases early but couldn't get hold of cleaner, eventually found building and other resident let us in and knocked on flat door few times and managed to get in. Advertised as having sofa bed however we spent an hour trying to convert sofas into a bed, contacted host who told us to contact cleaner to be told it was a blow up bed in cupboard. Not ideal for my 24 year old son!!! and this was main reason we booked apartment so everyone had a bed
