Guest Reviews
- Hannah (10/5): -
- Joshua (7/5): - New, clean and light. No hand railing on front stairs; only one toilet for 6 people was tricky at times.
- KOICHI (9/5): -
- Gayle (9/5): -
- William (7/5): The highlight of our stay in Coles bay was the wineglass bay cruise. - Spacious & clean.
Reasonably close to Coles bay. No shops or good view.
As an health & safety issue the entrance steps to the property need an handrail.
The electric cooking hob keeps turning off when being used together with the only frying pan available being far too big for the hob.
- Mary (10/5): Great stay for our 3-night visit. - The property had a clean, attractive look with lots of windows, a porch and modern furniture. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent.. It was located in a neighborhood conveniently close to the Freycinet Marine Farm, where we frequently ate oysters and scallops. We woke up every morning to birdsong.
- Sarina (8/5): Was very happy with the location of the property, there was a playground right across the road. Felt safe around the ar - Liked the location of the property, very close drive to Coles bay, wineglass bay, honeymoon bay etc. lots of food options around as well within short drive. Not so related to the property itself. Next door neighbor had a party and was noisy until 11pm, was alright for adults but hard for our kids because they found it very hard to sleep.
There were some ants on the couch.
- Michael (7/5): Overall nice. - Clean & comfortable base for travel. Not close enough to any walk to any local store
Or for little ones to walk to beach.
- Ariane (10/5): -
- Hayes (8/5): Great location for visiting the Freycinet National Park - Cleanliness & access to streaming services Nothing
- shirley (9/5): -
- Louise (10/5): Modern and relaxed - It was the perfect base to explore Freycinet National Park. It had a modern, relaxed feel and all the amenities needed. I loved having breakfast on the veranda. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
- LUKE (10/5): - Very clean and confortable Fly screens could of been cleaned as there was cobwebs and spiders in the inside of flyscreens
- John (8/5): Comfortable stay - Clean, comfortable and functional. Lack of privacy from the street and neighbour’s through the windows.
- Geof (9/5): -
- Deanne (8/5): -
- Katharine (9/5): Clean, comfortable accommodation - Lovely modern, well appointed accommodation. Too far to walk to our Wineglass bay cruise and there is no taxi service. Limited eating options close by.
- Samantha (5/5): Passable - It was clean and tidy and the shower was good. We arrived 20 minutes early and they wouldn’t give us the access code.
There is no dishwasher.
- Hassan (10/5): Home away from home - We (2 adults) have stayed in 9 hotels/Airbnb's on our three week holiday around Victoria and Tasmania, and this was without a doubt the best place of the lot. The location is perfect to explore every part of the National Park (most lookouts or walks were only 5-10 mins away by car). It was spacious and well furnished with everything we needed including a washing machine (no dryer but we made use of the liner which was included). Most impressive was how spotless clean it was. The bed was extremely comfortable. The TV is really nice and the internet works well so we streamed a movie during our stay without any problems. The hosts are so easy to get in touch with via the booking app, we got super quick and very helpful responses whenever we sent a message to them. This place has a kitchen with lots of stainless steel cookware, glass ovenware and plenty of dishes/cutlery. For anyone who doesn't know what the area is like be prepared and bring groceries from the bigger towns as the food options are very limited...we got turned away from the only place that was open (for 25km) at 7:25pm because the kitchen was closed...you will use the kitchen for most meals. No complaints
- Kok (7/5): Good -
- Anne (7/5): Good -
- Jihyoun (9/5): Would be considering to stay again - Liked the good size and settings for a family
Surprised with toys and books provided for our toddlers and my bubs liked to play with the toys which made our stay alot easier and smooth Location, was a bit of drive to Coles bay cbd than we expected
- Caitlin (10/5): Perfect stay for young children - It was a great property for our family. It had a box of toys and books and a high chair which made the stay much easier with a toddler. It was located in close distance to all the sights in Freycinet.
- Peter (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mia (9/5): Very clean and pleasant! - The property was clean, comfortable and quiet. The location was great and a lot of care had been taken to present the property.
- Courtney (8/5): Very good - Had all amenities Bit far from things to walk
- John (8/5): Very good -
- Karen (5/5): Was great to start off, but due to w/machine and hot water issues, went downhill quickly - The unit was very nice, extremely clean and well set out. The washing machine wouldn’t rinse and drain
No hot water on the second night
Very poor/slow response from property regarding above issues
Checked out without seeing anyone!
- Teresa (7/5): Perfectly adequate - Very clean. Stingy when stocking kitchen. For 4 persons, there were, for the most part, just 4 items of tableware each. Although lots of wine glasses - I suspect many of those were left by guests.
I found the 4th cup mug after I complained that we were having to take turns. A new set of mugs was delivered while we were out hiking.
- Judy (9/5): Superb -
- Marie (8/5): Very good - Clean and good location Stairs going into property and bedroom we're on the small size
- Doug (9/5): Excellent new property with all necessary amenities -
- Grace (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joscelyn (9/5): Perfect location. Quiet. - Very well appointed.
Modern
Clean We couldn’t get in at the time allocated but only had to wait an extra 45 minutes
Everything else was great
- Samantha (8/5): Very good - only got 1 toilet
- Toni (7/5): Clean and comfortable - Clean and fresh, plenty of room Bathroom design, shower has no door or screen and the whole bathroom gets wet
- Kirsten (9/5): Lovely new house. - New house, good size, in a quiet subdivision. Good amenities including washing machine. Parking too. A drive to restaurants and a small store. No dishwasher.
- Hannah (9/5): Superb -
- Chris (10/5): Exceptional -
- Raelene (8/5): Very good - Spacious and comfortable for two couples.
Had everything we needed.
- Julie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Shai (7/5): Good -
- Melissa (8/5): A great spot and convenient to our needs of visiting family - For us location is fabulous as our daughter and son in law live 1 house away and it is perfect for when we visit
- Lin (8/5): Very good -
- Helen (7/5): Good stay. Would go to this place again. - I like that it was accomodating for children as they had toys and books for book readers. There was only one roll of toilet paper and of course, it was not enough for a group of 5.
I didn’t like that there were no instructions on how to turn the stove on.
- Premela (10/5): Absolutely stunning house with everything taken care of. - The house was perfect for our stay at Freycinet. Kitchen and bathroom was well equipped and we thoroughly enjoyed how compact yet still felt spacey with the verandah . Will definitely have no hesitation in booking it again in future. The place was as lovely as it looks in the photos. The owners have done a great job at keeping the place vlooking fresh and modern
- Stuart (9/5): Great. - Clean and comfy No dryer.
- Liz (8/5): Pleasant stay - Clean, comfortable , easy access No welcome milk to go with the coffee/tea provided. The shower had no door, so water tended to go all over the floor.
For the price, I felt the property wasn't in a good location- only a distant view of the tops of The Hazards, no water views, & too far to walk to any facilities.
- Debbie (9/5): Superb -
- Eirian (8/5): Very good -
- Peter (8/5): Very good -
- Bastian (9/5): Superb -
- Ash (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (9/5): Superb - Peace and quiet of location Small stove top made cooking for 3 athletes hard
- Bonnie (9/5): Lovely home to explore Freycinet & surrounds! - Good peaceful location, 6 minute drive to Coles Bay township. Spacious, modern property which looked new and lots of natural light. More towel rack space or hooks in the bathroom to hang towels would've been useful. Good if shampoo was provided, but hand wash & body wash were provided.
- Kathryn (9/5): Great house for families and couples - We liked the provision of a cot as this helped our toddler sleeper. The kitchen was well equipped and had an oven, stove and fridge. We also liked the additional touches including oil, salt and pepper. Loved the laundry and inclusion of airing rack. The toys and books was also appreciated. There is also a park for kids opposite! Great location - about 10mins from the national park. Nothing.
- Cory (8/5): Very good -
- Sophie (8/5): Loved it the place and the view were beautiful relaxing - Breakfast na but location and view was amazing The stairs to get to the front door were very steep there was no handrail to hold onto
- Sachin (9/5): Superb - Great stay at great location. It was 10 mins drive from wineglass lookout parking. This place has got hot plates instead of Gas burners. Toaster wasn't working.
- Josiah (8/5): It's not perfect but overall good value for money. We will stay there again. - The place is basic but clean and reasonably comfortable. It is located in a newly developed area so it is quiet and would suit self drive holiday makers. The internet service was not reliable during our two night stay. It's only available 50% of the time. It would be great if the place is a little bigger.
- Paul (8/5): Would not go back again - Property is in a newly developed area which is about 5 minutes from Coles Bay so central to walks.
Outdoor veranda was good except for the wind Poor free to air TV reception and the water pump from the tank continued to come on and off.
Arrival time set at 3.00 with door code sent at 2.50 not helpful when you are travelling.
- Joshua (8/5): Very good -
- Darelle (8/5): Our stay was excellent. The property was comfortable for us and an easy drive to places of interest. - Clean, well equipped & quiet The super new housing area was a bit soulless. As the area is developed the neighborhood will become more inviting I’m sure.
- Cheuk (9/5): nice stay. - modern design.
spacious indoor.
Good natural lights indoor.
Bbq facility. Insufficient lighting in veranda area at night for bbq. One of the lights was not working.
One of the kitchen knifes was broken and unsafe to use.
no heating/cooling in bedrooms. No electric blankets either.
- Tania (9/5): Superb -
- Sharyn (10/5): Exceptional - so new and fresh. had all the facilities and utensils needed. it was nice to arrive to soft music
- Marilyn (9/5): Very enjoyable, great area - Very quiet, spacious, well equipped, with a great outlook A handrail up to the front door would have been good… travelling with an elderly mother, difficult getting up
- Mancell (9/5): Superb -
- Sharon (8/5): Very good - I liked that it had a view but wonder if it’ll be built out in the future. Found it annoying having to boil water to be able to drink it.
- Vandy (8/5): Very good -
- François (7/5): Good -
- Mitchell (10/5): Exceptional - it was super clean and cozy. The bed was super comfortable and the property was just minutes away from Freycinet National Park
- Teena (3/5): Appalling customer service - it was modern and clean it was next door to a house being built. we were woken 7am whilst on holidays by machinery and banging hammers. I rang to complain and ask for some kind of compensation and it was not only refused, they denied having any responsibility to let their holiday tenants know there is a strong possibility they’ll be woken up early. I was appalled by their response and lack of customer service.
- Karen (9/5): Relaxing 😊 - The layout and decor was very nice. It was spacious, modern and had a good range of kitchen ware.
You can walk (10mins) to the local beach which had a calm, pretty sea but rocky.
Location was very quiet and the verandah faced east to watch the sun come up. For four occupants, a second toilet would have been good.
The right hand bbq dial isn't set correctly and we didn't appreciate to push the 'pressure button' by the gas tank to get it to work. Perhaps some separate written instructions to spell it out would help.
- Sue (10/5): A lovely bright, spacious, modern home with comfy furniture and cosy bed and lovely wide open views. - A lovely modern home with bright and spacious living area and wide open views to the housing estate. Approx 5km drive into Coles Bay, 10kms to Wineglass Bay walks parking area. Everything I needed for my stay. Highly recommend. I couldn't get the inversion cook top to work, I've not used one before so it may be easy for others. I used my camp stove to cook :)
- Anonymous (10/5): exceptionally enjoyable stay at this property that exceeds expectations - very clean and cosy, fully equipped with amenities. easy check-in process as well. acoustics of the property could be improved - it gets a bit noisy when there is strong wind
- Travis (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chloe (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dale (8/5): Very comfortable and enjoyable. - everything about the property was good. the location was the only negative (albeit a small one), as it is a bit outside of Coles Bay and there isn’t much surrounding the property (except for new developments).
- Amanda (10/5): Loved accomodation would visit again - Lovely newish property. Would be great if had clothes line
- Dave (10/5): An excellent house in the Coles Bay area. - An exceptional property in every way. A little difficult to get the keys from the security box but a phone call got that sorted. Good sized rooms as you would expect from a house of this quality and everything worked as expected. A very pleasant stay for our Tassie trip. Our only com[plaint was the lack of towel racks in the bathroom. Considering the house caters for up to six occupants the only single towel rack was a disappointment.
