- Abdallah (2/5): The apartment is not as described; the ‘second room’ is not shown in the listing - The apartment is conveniently located near both a bus stop and a tram line, providing direct access to the main train station and the city center. I am very disappointed with the misleading description of this property. In reality, it is a one-bedroom apartment. The so-called ‘second room’ is simply a pull-out couch (sleeper sofa) presented as a bed, as shown in the attached photo. Had the listing been accurate, with proper photos, I would have chosen and paid for a different apartment. Unfortunately, I arrived in Rome late at night, when it was too late to make alternative arrangements.
Furthermore, trains and trams run directly behind the apartment, causing noticeable vibrations every few minutes.
I regret not reviewing all the previous feedback more carefully.
In summary, I feel ripped off!
- Vincent (2/5): Not suitable if you want to relax after a long day in Rome or you are traveling with chlidren - Thomas who works for Daniele is extremely nice, perfectly adjusted to our arrival dispite the flight delay. He takes care as well of a spotlessly clean apartment.
The owner Daniele is opposite, not pleasant who lives oustide of Italy so with pleasure will send you with problems to complain to booking.com. Check location before you order this place!
The apartment is almost on the train tracks like 20ish m to your bed. So not only you can hear every single train but also feel it !!!- the building SHAKES every time train passes by. Traffic volume is naturally enormous in Rome to Termini Central Station- our bad choice ofcourse.
Check well Villini and S.Elena station on google before!!!
We had a problem with bed, as true was a new one but had some serious default in the base and we had to take mattress on the floor. The owner was not interested and did not inform Thomas to fix the problem. He directed us to Booking.com to complain.
On the other hand had no problem to ask us for visit of a plumber in our stay which he cancelled after.
Not all Photos from ouside are related to the building, so dont get cut yourself that you are going to stay in one of this lovely houses. Only the one with the Iron gate is related to the accommodation and this litte "garden" ofcourse.
Uber / taxi is not easy to order. The area is not popular so it is hard to get a driver on the app, or a taxi from the City center to take you to this district. Specially on fridays public transport strikes.
What a dream place to stay where from a whopping whole 400 guests only 13 leave thair opiton. Especially most of this "friendly" will not mention the track behind the wall which is a fact not opion as much like train traffic in Rome.
As the most of the people will think Thomas is the owner so they will not complain, like we / because he is such an extremely nice guy! When we found out that he works for you and you are such an unpleasant person, we decided to complain! So everything on schedule.
We traveled at night from Norway without euros and we asked Thomas if we can pay by card or not. So don't make up a story! MAYBE you can inform that you want CASH on your annonse, everybody use Visa nowdays.
- Shah (8/5): Very good -
- Suvankar (9/5): Superb - The rooms are very comfortable, and being outside the city makes the place noise-free. Transportation is easily available. Very enjoyable place.
- Kroker (10/5): We had a lovely stay in Daniele flat. The little patio outside was very nice for having a breakfast. I loved it! Our hos - The flat was very clean and had everything what we needed during our stay. Kitchen was very well equipped and rooms very comfortable and spacious what I really appreciate during my holidays wherever I go.
- Stephanie (9/5): We had a nice stay and would love to come back! - The apartment was very cozy and very well equipped. The little backyard was nice and very private. The landlord was also very nice and made sure we had everything we needed. It is a little far from the city center, but at piazza del Pigneto (about 12 walking minutes) leaves a bus every 20 minutes that takes you straight to the most famous sights (colosseum, circus Maximus, piazza Navona etc.) without changing vehicles.
