• WcbCan (9/5): - I love the fresh air and the space ! So perfectly beautiful and relaxing. The room was too cool but, it was quickly adjust . Also the auto door lock almost locked us out more then once while having morning coffee. Lol 😆
• Amy (10/5): - The location is very central! This warm suit comes with many extra items throughout the room to make our stay comfortable and feel like at home!
• Sharon (10/5): Had a very enjoyable time. - Everything was wonderful! It was like having your own apartment. Clean, spacious. Host was wonderful. Only downfall, not having a way to cook anything. Barbecue would have been great! I found the bed a bit too soft for my back.
• Lana (10/5): We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend/stay again :) - The suite was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed for guest experience, for example there were light switches that could be controlled from the bed. There was a lot of attention to detail and the experience of guests, like a printed handout explaining how everything worked, K cup machine stocked with pods, etc. The hosts were wonderful—had a lovely chat with Vicci and I forgot one of my items and they let me know and offered to mall it back It was a little cold inside the suite, but easily fixed by turning on the fireplace
• Mike (10/5): - This was a beautifully designed suite with a lovely bathroom, laundry facilities and well equipt kitchen. The living area was cosy and comfortable. Nothing to dislike.

• Julie (10/5): Within walking distance to restaurants, paths with ocean views and just a short drive to nature - It was self contained but the owners were right there if you needed anything. It was close to everything. There was a parking space. There were great little touches and extras - like snuggly blankets, popcorn and cream in the fridge.
• Lou (9/5): Superb - It was very clean and comfortable. The host communicated every step of the way and left excellent instruction on how the amenities functioned. The only drawbacks were it was a bit tricky to find on a busy street, and the living room blind wasn't working, so the sun was bright early in the morning. In fairness to the hosts, I didn't tell them about the blind, so they didn't have the opportunity to address it for me.

Really liked all of the information about the Campbell River area and all the suggestions for enjoying the area.

Our stay was exceptionally lovely and we would highly recommend staying there if you are planning a visit to Campbell River! Hosts were very friendly and accommodating! Nothing!
• Pamela (9/5): Cozy comfort in Campbell River - The bed was very comfortable, but a little low for us tall people. The shower was fantastic! and the added bonus in the bathroom of motion-detecting lights under the vanity for nighttime navigation was brilliant. Being able to do a load of laundry was a benefit. The proprietors were very nice people, and we appreciated being able to meet Vicci and Denis. Being right on the highway could have been somewhat noisy, but we really did not notice. The blinds over the windows were great for privacy and blockng the light, but that meant not being able to see outside if you wanted to. The view really isn't much, anyway - you can barely see the sea. It would have been helpful to have a luggage stand or an extra chair for that purpose.

• Jeff (10/5): A secret I can't keep, unfortunately! - Vicki and Denis have obviously taken the time and thought to make the suite a pleasure to stay at, and to return to at the end of long days exploring the Campbell River and mid-Island region. I enjoyed my three nights on a birding photography trip. Nothing was short or lacking and so much nicer than a larger or more commercial venue. l would not hesitate to stay for any trip to the area. Indeed I was making daily runs south, west and north with their location perfectly situated. I will use By the Sea for all my forthcoming trips, only problem I can see is the availibility once the words out. Still, I can't be selfish and I have to spread the word. Excellent, well thought out, and comfortable! There was nothing. Yes indeed I mean nothing. If you want something, just to appear rational. Then backing down the drive way on a motorcycle. No just kidding, that's my problem ;)

• Daniel (10/5): Hey Google, I need a perfect hangout for a 2 day stop in CR: laundry, kitchen, big-screen TV - I needed a place to hangout for two days enroute. This suite was a perfect layover with laundry, kitchen, big TV and a faux-fireplace/heater. Well appointed and thoughtfully finished; a romantic space for a couple. Bathroom is upscale. Friendly hosts. A short walk to the excellent museum and forest trails (daytime use), and the historic pier. The BC Transit stop is within half a block. A 15 min walk into the centre of Campbell River (see photos) French doors open to a street-facing carport that has a small deck with comfy outdoor chairs. It’s on a busy road, and I found that distracting, but once inside with the door closed, that noise disappeared

• Rebecca (10/5): Clean comfortable stay in a beautiful suite. - Beautiful little suite. Clean comfortable stay, just what I needed after a long day. Owners have paid attention to detail. Very sorry I didn't have time to try out the coffee maker, that looked really nice! Convenient location right on Island highway, parking right up against the suite. Price was very reasonable.
