Guest Reviews
- Drew (9/5): Great location and very functional for our stay in Manly - NA Having to send photos of returned keys to lockbox

- Sally (8/5): A lovely apartment in a great location in a beautiful place to stay. - Excellent location, very near the beach and a short walk to the centre and ferry terminal.
A very well equipped kitchen, a good sized living area and good sized bedrooms - a great self contained apartment. We were only provided with one set of keys rather than the two listed on the welcome letter- a second set would have been really useful as we were all adults.
- Laura (7/5): Good alternative to a hotel - Location was perfect. Situated close to the centre of Manly, in walking distance to restaurants and the ferry to Sydney. A jump away from the beach.
Hosts provided dishwasher tablets, laundry detergent, trash bags, towels, and (after inquiry through the app) even a parking pass for our rental car. Hosts were communicative and reliable. The blinds requested in previous reviews have been added, so privacy is now provided. Kitchen is fully stocked with dishes etc., water pressure in showers is great with plenty of hot water. Overall, everything needed for a longer stay. Apartment could do with a makeover. Peeling paint and rusty door hinges here and there, couch is on the way out. Note that it's situated in a house with multiple other apartments and the neighbours upstairs presumably get up early to go to work, so heavy footsteps will likely wake you up around 7 or 8am.
Several of the windows didn't lock, which isn't amazing for a ground floor apartment. The blankets were a bit questionable, as instead of being inside a duvet cover, the duvet was sandwiched between two sheets. Not particularly hygienic, as it'd constantly become dislodged and you'd just be in contact directly with the duvet.
Bathrooms would benefit from hooks to hang the towels on.
All of these were minor annoyances which can easily be fixed by the host. Wouldn't exactly stop me from booking again, but definitely factored into my final rating.
- Louise (9/5): Manly flat - Really nice, comfortable flat about a 10-15 minutes walk from the ferry and less than 5 from the beach. Modern furnishings and lots of useful amenities in the flat eg. Oils and condiments for cooking, extensive range of cooking utensils etc. Very close to shops, restaurants and bars and the area itself is beautiful. Staff managing the accommodation were helpful and easily reached and responded to messages really quickly, even in the evenings. The flat was a little cold. One of the rooms has an emergency exit which led directly outside and because it was winter and the flat is quite small, we found it cold and hard to heat. There was a storage heater in one room and plenty of spare blankets available though.

- Ringer (1/5): Photos totally misrepresent the property, please be careful. - We didnt like anything about this apartment. Wifi didn't work, property and furnishings were dirty, location overlooking walls and bins, entrance to the apartment awful, blood stain on bedroom chair, paint peeling from wall, pictures on website totally misrepresent the property, outside door with flimsy lock in the en suite bathroom, as a family we actually booked for a week and never stayed there. We attach the real images.
- Andrew (8/5): Very good - Very convenient location, easy access to buses & ferries
- Catherine (8/5): Nicely renovated unit in an older block of 6 close to North Steyne beach - about.10 minute walk to The Corso. Parking i - Proximity to beach is great. Good to have aircon in living areas. Kitchen well equipped. Very comfy main bed(queen) Some day/night blinds would give greater privacy in living areas. Ceiling fans would be great in bedrooms.
- Sean (9/5): Brilliant location with everything you could wish for to make your stay comfortable and fun!!! - This place is a little gem!! Literally minutes walk away from the beach and 10mins from Manly town. It had all the essentials plus much more, including a gazebo and chairs for the beach! We loved it so much we extended for extra days… this was so easily done, the management company answered all queries very quickly and were very helpful!!
- Ian (8/5): Very good - Location No tea towels or hand towels in the kitchen.
- John (9/5): Superb -
- Martin (8/5): Very good -
- Sarah (9/5): Superb -
- Julie (10/5): A little gem in Manly - This apartment was great and had everything we needed for our two week stay in Manly. The location was excellent, very close to the beach and just a short walk to restaurants and shops. N/A
- Matthew (10/5): Excellent property in an excellent location with good communication from the host - Location was perfect. It was clean and tidy and well equipped. Lovely touch to provide a Christmas tree and some welcome provisions A little bit small but more than adequate
- Brandon (8/5): Very good - Clean and perfect location Windows didn't lock and its a ground floor apartment
- Alida (8/5): Excellent location, walking distance to most places of need and comfortable apartment. - The location was perfect with easy walking access to most places that I needed to get to. The apartment was tastefully decorated, with a fully modern equipped kitchen, comfortable and lovely big bath towels. Nice touch with umbrellas and beach gear if wanting to go the beach which was only 1 block away. Being on the ground floor, the front door slammed each time a guest or resident used it, and lack of privacy as lounge, kitchen and bedroom windows all looking into laneway apartment window and carpark/bins.
- Melanie (8/5): Very good - Very comfy bed. Good location
- Rachel (9/5): I stayed with my son & his friend as they had a concert to go to in Sydney .. this property is in such a great spot - The property felt like a home .. it had everything you needed … it was comfortable & great for what we needed .. I didn’t like that the emergency exit door was in the ensuite bathroom … but obviously it’s part of the building ..
- Broeske (7/5): Lives up to its name - Very short walk to the beach, morning coffee, pizza, and the Manly Ferry to Sydney. For a price comparable to a large hotel room, we liked having two separate bedrooms and two separate bathrooms. The listing says there is a dryer, but there is no dryer and laundry amenities was among the reasons we chose this property. The grocery store, Coles, is quite a walk from here.
- Patricia (9/5): Great, quiet, comfortable stay while visiting our son and daughter in law from Queens Cliff. - Great location. Comfortable. Nice to have laundry facilities. Would have preferred to have host meet us at the door of the building.
- Kate (7/5): Good location if you are coming for Manly Beach - Location was good, it was about a kilometre from the Manly Ferry and the Manly LIfe Saving Club (which we knew when booking). It was two bedroom, two bathroom (albeit the second bathroom was tiny). The owner had lots of basic items in the kitchen which was greatly appreciated (think garbage bags, glad wrap, salt and pepper and sugar, even basic herbs and stock powder to make it easy to make a proper meal. The owner also had beach items which whilst we didn't end up using was appreciated. Even an umbrella which most certainly got used!! We were greeted with cockroach baits around the unit which wasn't a great first impression. The property really needs a pest spray due to the ants and cockroaches that visited us (thank goodness for the provided insect spray) and the musty smell that we noticed from day two explained the many vials of room deodorisers we found. Whilst the unit had air conditioning in the lounge it barely gets into the master bedroom and there wasn't a ceiling or pedestal fan to use so some nights were very hot. The master bed mattress was so deep and heavy it made it near impossible to make the bed. The fitted sheet didn't make it over the mattress so had to re-make the bed EVERY-SINGLE-DAY and I don't even do this at home so this was extremely annoying. The life of the mattress is also nearing the end of it's life as there was a noticeable dent on one side of the bed. Given the nightly rate we paid and staying 9 nights, a mid stay clean and linen change (not at our cost) would have been appreciated. We had friends that stayed this long in a Sydney city apartment who paid way less a night and had a daily service. There is no security screens and the locks on the windows don't work and being on the ground floor this made me nervous. It was annoying not having a dryer in the unit either, especially since we were staying because of four surf life saving carnivals which means lots of wet towels but we managed.
