• Alina (1/5): Be careful - It is a room in private apartment with your bathroom across the hall. I would never rent it if it was clearly specified on the webpage as I don’t consider it safe. Very bad experience in discovering this. Had to look for another accommodation.
• Derek (10/5): Overall, the state was very good. We enjoyed our host and the bed was very comfortable. - It was very clean and easy to find. The windows didn’t have room darkening curtains and even though the host smoked outside, you could still smell the cigarette smoke at times.

• Andrew (8/5): Comfortable Suburban Chur B&B - Lovely well-traveled hostess. Comfortable room with a bathroom across the hall. Delicious breakfast. It is located in a suburb of Chur which is a few bus stops away from the more interesting old town of Chur.
• Susan (7/5): A comfortable stay - Our room was quiet and comfortable and we were provided with a very good breakfast. It took us quite a long time to find the accommodation as it was not in Chur centre and it turned out to be an apartment adjacent to some shops. Apart from a nearby Thai restaurant there did not seem to be anywhere to eat near the accommodation.
• Kelci (6/5): Would only stay here if you’re able to arrive during daylight hours - The breakfast made by the host was amazing, and the host was very nice! The host also let us in after usual check in hours since our train was delayed, which we really appreciated. I would not recommend this property for a night time check in. The check in instructions were very unclear, and since this a room in the apartment of the host you are reliant on that one person to be awake to let you in. We had to wait outside in the dark for several minutes waiting for the host to wake up. The number provided for the host doesn’t seem functional. Also, this hopefully won’t be a problem for future guests, but there was night time construction in the street out front that made it impossible for us to sleep half the night.

She stayed up when we had trouble getting there... and WOW, WHAT A BREAKFAST! The only thing that was difficult was understanding exactly where to enter upon arrival... and it very well may have been posted or communicated, but I didn't see it while driving.

• Gary (8/5): Nice clean and comfortable room and gracious hostess! - The breakfast was delicious! The table was set each morning and looked so nice! We thought our private bathroom was a bathroom connected to the room. It was across the hall and only designated for our use.
• Olga (10/5): Perfect, 10/10 - Perfect place to stay in Chur! Nice and well-equipped room, fantastic host, 100% clean and safe, bathroom is just opposite your room. 15 minutes walk from train station. Recommend it with no doubt!
• Alexander (8/5): A nice stopover in Chur - This is an air bnb ideal for a stop over in Chur, which is the end/start of the Bernina Express. It is a 20-minute walk from the station in a quiet and modern residential area. The host Monika is friendly and goes out of her way in preparing an excellent breakfast at the time we wished it. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. The whole property is nicely furnished. The only thing I didn't know about was that the bathroom was in a separate room, albeit private for our use only. It was just across the bedroom, and the host was not intrusive at all. No big deal, but I would have preferred an ensuite.

• Denise (5/5): Not a good stay with cigarette smoke despite good facilities. - The beds were comfortable. Nice bathroom, very nice breakfast. The smell of cigarette smoke drifting inside from the owner smoking near the back door. The cigarette smoke set off asthma and a headache.
• Simon (6/5): Pleasant - Breakfast was good: we were offered muesli and eggs, along with yoghurt and cold cuts etc. The bathroom was across the hall, which we weren't expecting, but reserved for guest use. Room was clean and comfortable, but double bed was two single mattresses pushed together with two duvets. Cigarette smoke throughout: don't stay here if you have a smoke allergy. The accommodation is very much part of the host's house, like Airbnb, which didn't come over from the property details. It wasn't available when we booked, but we noticed that the ibis hotel was the same price, suggesting that the property is not good value.
• Kerry (10/5): Excellent value for money in Chur - It was very clean and quiet. Breakfast was delicious. Host was polite and gave us our privacy. Only a 20 minute walk with luggage to town. Public transport readily available. NOTHING TO COMPLAIN ABOUT WE HAD A GOOD STAY. Just a note that we are non smokers and a lot of reviews mention the smell of smoke from the host in the apartment. There was a very SLIGHT smell but nothing to put us off staying again. We highly recommend the accommodation.

• Karen (10/5): Restful stay. - Although we were only there for one night (on our way to another location); the place was very easy to find. Our host was on holiday but she made sure to leave a friend (Mrs. Heidi); to welcome us, explain the facilities and handle our breakfast the next morning. She was a sweetheart! Made our stay unforgettable and was very kind and helpful! Her breakfast was delicious! She had quite the spread ready for us! The owner had left homemade jams that we were able to enjoy. WOW! Very quiet area! The room had a beautiful view of the mountains. The bathroom was very spacious and clean. How to get there? From the train station, take bus #4 to Austrasse. Don’t forget to purchase ahead your return ticket; there are no kiosks at the stops only at the train station. Once you are on the bus, and you get to Austrasse stop; DO NOT LEAVE THE BUS! Sadorna is where you want to step outside the bus which is two stops past Austrasse. Once out, cross the street in front of the bus stop and cross again to your right. Take the sidewalk to your left. Go past a bakery, a pharmacy, and a hair salon. The entrance to the building is right past the hot salon to your right. Look for N.Miesse and that is your place.

• Chris (10/5): Monika was a very accommodating host. She gave us the choice of time for breakfast and also asked what we would like. Sh - The beds were so comfortable. Extremely clean. Use of own bathroom, again extremely clean. Breakfast was superb. All fresh produce. Nothing.

The breakfast was fine. Our hostess was not there during our stay so the description of having 24 front desk and a coffee shop did not happen. We did not even have access to a kettle. We also expected an en suite bathroom, not a bathroom across the corridor from our room.

The host could not do enough for us, providing us with a delicious breakfast even though we were leaving very early. She was friendly and interested to hear our tale as well as to talk about Chur. We have stayed in seven different places this trip, and this one stood out, top of the lot.
• Yorkshire_man (9/5): Superb - Monica was very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast. Sockets accepted euro plugs, very good. Comfortable stay. Only stayed overnight so 20 min walk to town not an issue. Friendly local bar around the corner. Swiss sockets don't always accept euro plugs, be aware. Found the building easily but no external info about which bell to push. Used whatsapp to phone her to gain access. Bathroom not ensuite but private.

The location was a long walk from the centre, but buses were convenient. The room had a hint of cigarette smoke which was notieable to non-smokers.

If walking, be careful, sections of the road look like you are going through a wheat field. It is not clear when you are there, how to access the property.
