Guest Reviews
- Arnaud (3/5): Substandard: Unpleasant experience. You're better off spending a little more on a proper hotel. - Slept well in clean sheets, and the place was quiet.
Equipped with tea, coffee, sugar, some leftover cereal, cutlery and other types of dishes.
The host was nice and friendly. Substandard
We paid around £120 a night for this apartment in London and unfortunately had a very unpleasant experience.
This is not a hotel but a private flat (with owner’s mess in the closets) a bit sub standard for a family with kids : the floor was a patchwork of carpet and lino, the main room had one mattress on the floor and only half of the curtain was installed.
The bedroom has two beds, but slats of the kid’s bed were falling through.
But worse, there was no heating and the night was cold (15 deg in the morning in mid-October).
Also, despite time of arrival confirmed twice as demanded, the host was 15min late with the key and the place wasn’t prepared after previous guests (bath rugs and bathtub unclean : hair and nail clippings).
Moreover, there is no private parking associated with the flat, you have to get lucky to park in the few free spots available.
You’re better off spending a little more on a proper hotel.

- Dylan (8/5): Very good - At such short notice the host was able to accommodate us with ease, funny friendly and welcoming
A spacious room with enough space to lay your head for the night nothing too fancy but that's what we needed
- C (10/5): Phenomenal - Loveliest host!! Amazing place. So considerate /
- Fadhili (9/5): Superb -
- Jess (5/5): Passable for an easy short stay, good for singles or friends. It just needs some improvements. - We stayed in the room for one night, in occasion of the NYE event.
The host was friendly and helpful. He explained right away what we had to know about the property etc. he made me a good impression.
He gives you his phone number and asks you quickly to every question you may have. We even put the wrong address on maps (which was the same to this one, and I didn’t go by the postcode) and we end up in another place, so to get to the right one, it took us another 45 minutes and he was still gentle and patient;
He had wait for us, instructed on the way and greet us at the door to welcome us in.
The location was easy to find, the building was quite and the all area around was quiet too. The only thing that I felt most uncomfortable with, is that the room we were in, does not have a proper door to be locked. Is a room that has been arranged as a bedroom, so the only way you could feel more privacy, is to leave the kitchen door open (which is in front of the room) to ‘block’ people away.
So, as a private person, at least I would have liked to have a door to lock during the night etc. but the other guests were polite and we did not meet them at all. In the morning I heard them turning on the kettle but they didn’t dare to come in 👍🏻 But you know what I mean, it’s still people you don’t know. I found this room passable as it was the cheapest that I found close to Westminster by buses/trains.
Now, I will go a bit more in detail:
The bed was wobbly, as in this specific room, you will have a bunk bed, but to go up there is no ladder so we had to help the kids get upper, and the bed down is a double, but is on the floor. It’s a hug mattress, but on the floor.
The cleanliness was poor, especially the toilet area, and its something that ‘I look for’; If I get triggered about the bathroom/kitchen area, then O will also question the beddings etc. You will be at top floor, it was a very windy night yesterday, and when the wind hit the roof I can’t tell you the horrendous noise; Basically It waked me up like 4 times during the night. That is something that the host may cannot have control over, but it’s part of an honest and detailed review.
So in the end, it depends on you! If you don’t have kids with you, I think you will be more chill with it all, and if you are adventurous and you don’t care about details than is good. In fact I can’t say it’s not good, but not for everyone. It’s fair for the price for a New Year’s Eve night.
- Emmanuel (1/5): In summary I did not stay there since no one to give us access to the place. - There is nothing to like. I got there with my family no one to attend to us the person in charge was not there and said I should wait for 1 hour before he will arrive and it was freezing cold my family was angry the taxi that brought us have left so we have to look for another hotel and get a taxi to take us there. It was a bizarre experience
