• Marusic (7/5): Will definitely stay there again - The house was lovely and clean everything was provided and well thought out (kitchen appliances, utensils, laundry products iron/iron board ect) ever room had a heater which was wonderful as the nights got cold. And location was great close to everything from shops to main road but far enough away as not to get the traffic The washing machine left the clothes smelling funky
• Tania (9/5): Superb - External black out blinds meant it was nice and dark to sleep. Comfortable beds and good duvets. Great heaters in each room. Nice water temperature and pressure. Old decor but clean and simple. It had everything we needed on our way south from Perth. Good instructions from the owners too in how to get in and clear instructions for check out. Nothing. If you want something fancy and new, this may not be for you, but it is clean and comfortable and has everything you could need.

• Jasmine (10/5): A great stay and very helpful host when I needed to extend my stay by one extra night. - I loved the space and location was perfect for me. Lots of split system air cons for heating rooms Screens on windows providing security and blocking light Lack of kitchen wares. Crockery and cutlery were fine and basic saucepan set. However no containers, serving bowls, platters…anything to help with meals. Provided my own pod machine

• Michael (7/5): Good value and comfortable accommodation. - We stayed here previously. The host is friendly, communicative, and well organised. The accommodation is an older style house that is well equipped and generally clean and comfortable. The beds (mattresses and pillows) are of a good quality and very comfortable. The furnishings, although dated, are adequate. The location is very handy to the hospital and well located for a drive down south along the Albany Highway. The place is good value for money. We'd stay again. Two things: 1. If the visitors in the back apartment/house are noisy, you can hear them through the wall. 2. The shower screen could do with a proper scrub and clean.

WAIT in city for connecting flight... 5 1/2 hr flight East coast to West coast... Car rental pickup and drive to house .......... NO WIFI SO NOT ABLE FIND KEY CODE FOR LOCK ON FRONT DOOR!! RESULT. .paid $180 and MUST SLEEP IN THE CAR!! review: 0.5 star :( **1. PLZ donate any $______ good will re-imbursement (no laundry/cleaning was needed) >> to a W.A. charity :) ** 2. Advise client [key code} at least 1 day before...SO NO REPEAT!!!

• Michael (7/5): Would stay again. Very clean throughout. Comfortable beds. Quiet location. - Although the property is oldish and has only minimum refurb, it is very clean throughout. The beds are super comfortable (am assuming good quality mattresses), and it's quiet at night - except for the brief activity by a resident possum. The location is excellent for access to Armadale Hospital and the tourist trail of the Kelmscott hills. The house has pretty much everything you need, including split air-con is each room. We needed to communicate with the host a few times ahead of arrival, and she was very helpful and prompt. We'd stay there again if we needed accommodation in the area. If there are noisy guests in the adjoining property (there were some very active kids next door for a few days during our stay) you can hear them.
• Deborah (8/5): all in all a great stay, loved the size of the smart t.v. and the satellite channels nice big fridge - Nice quiet location, close to shops, hospital and away from noisy highways. No noisy neighbours to worry about here. Only 1 exit door, a bit risky if there was a fire. Didn't see any smoke detectors anywhere. Not enough windows felt a bit closed in.

• Bruce (9/5): Good well priced option. - Accommodating and friendly host. Easily located just off main road to Perth. Spacious,clean and with everything needed for a stay. Great shower,kitchen and the 2 single beds we used were super comfortable. We couldn't access the wifi on any of the 3 devices we tried to log in on . Kept on getting 'access denied' on the two wifi servers shown as available to be logged onto .This was frustrating as we were wanting to make advanced bookings and relied on the accommodation wifi for this. The house would benefit from a couple of skylights to lighten it up Apart from this we found the house well priced and recommend

The owners supplied detailed instructions for entry making it a smooth start to our stay There wasn't enough coffee or tea supplied only two coffee satchets

• Chris (8/5): Nice place to stay - Great location, close to shops, and major roads. Size was what we were looking for, for a family stay. An older house, with ample space and furnishings. Extra towels for all the beds, would have been really good, rather than sharing them around.

• Eric (4/5): We coped with the facilities. - The beds were excellent The amenities were certainly inadequate for six persons, but were O.K. for the two of us. There was no radio or lights within reach of the beds. The toilet (only one) was in a nook in the laundry. The shower was very small but there was a bath in the same room. The furniture was sparse. There was no access to the back yard and the front was 'unkempt'.

• Alinagribble (7/5): Good - Lovely old style house. Easy checkin and good location. Comfortable beds and reasonable price. Some of the door knobs were loose and hard to open and there was a lot of noise from the neighbouring unit even though they weren't being excessively loud. Could do with better lighting in bedrooms eg lamp.

The house is an older property but nice and Comfortable with lovely beds and bedding. Good kitchen with all you need, and the shower in 29 A was awesome with continuous hot water. A nice rug in the loungeroom would be nice as it's a bit sparce, even an upgrade on the couch would "look" a bit nicer. The one it has is nice but a bit tired. There is a sharp corner on the cream bedhead/drawer that could do with a cover. And it's just me but 2 pillows each would make sleeping that little more comfortable. A small outdoor table and chairs would be great for the porch too. These are small things though, but would greatly benefit the property 🙂
• Cherie (8/5): We loved our stay here, a great location and lovely little house. - The location was perfect for our purpose. The bedding was lovely and warm and cosy. The shower was awesome, nice and hot and lots of water pressure. It was a little chilly. It was good that there was an oil heater, but it wasn't quite warm enough at night. We used the spare doonas on our beds.
