Guest Reviews

- Matilda (10/5): Such a beautiful venue with lots of space and things to do! - We absolutely loved our recent stay for a girls weekend. There was plenty of room, the facilities were updated and comfortable. Outdoor space was fantastic making it perfect for all weather. Perhaps another bathroom would have been handy!
- Fadi (1/5): Poorly maintained property. - From the very first day, we encountered serious maintenance issues. On day one, the bathroom floor flooded simply from draining the bath tub. On day two, the sink in the same bathroom began leaking from inside the cabinet. As a result, one entire toilet and shower have been unavailable, which is completely unacceptable for a group of 16 people.
A plumber attended on day two and was polite and professional, however due to the state of the property, there was very little they could do. The cabinet under the leaking basin is visibly rotting, the upstairs bathroom smells strongly of sewage, and water has leaked through the downstairs downlight from the en-suite bathroom as a result of attempted repairs from the plumber. The bathroom odor alone makes it unpleasant and unhygienic to use.
Beyond the plumbing issues, the overall condition of the house is run down. The outside of the property had not been cleaned at all upon arrival. There are animal droppings around the entire perimeter of the pool, broken outdoor chairs, broken glass in the hot tub and many items that are clearly worn and neglected. Every window appears as though it has not been cleaned in many years.
This is a family trip, and while we are trying to make the most of our time, the condition of the property has significantly impacted our experience. For the price we paid, we expected a well maintained, clean, and fully functional home. This is especially frustrating given that we were also charged an additional $200 in “cleaning fees” to access the full property that I had already booked.
Overall, the listing is not an accurate representation of the property we arrived at, and we are honestly very disappointed. I would appreciate this matter being reviewed urgently and would like to discuss appropriate compensation, as this isn’t fair on our family.

- Felicity (10/5): The perfect getaway - We will definitely be back, loved our stay and are already gathering family together for the next! It has everything you need for a family holiday to be able to relax unwind and enjoy. The beds are super comfy weekends was always on call for any help needed. We loved it

- Siu Ling (6/5): Overall satisfaction delivered - Though the information provided by the staff of weekender was a little confusing and inconsistent, their staff were friendly and patient and willing to help. 1. Please let the customers know at time of booking that they will be charged an overseas transaction fee on top of the accommodation fee. I was a little shocked when I, an Australia citizen living in Australia, was charged $116 overseas transaction fee for booking a holiday accommodation located at Australia. If I was informed about this at time of booking, I would have booked other accommodation or through other booking platform.
2. Informations provided by the staff of Weekender prior to our stay were inconsistent which caused confusion.
3. The tap nozzle of the wash basin at the toilet upstair is too short and causes inevitable collection of water around the wash basin
- Christian (10/5): It was a great trip, was very comfortable and clean - Good size, great outdoor area, plenty of entertainment. It was very clean, comfortable bedrooms and easy to work with.
- Kevin (5/5): Games room is dated - I like that there's a swimming pool, hot tub, and that kangaroos are plenty all day long. Games room is dated, broken amenities in games room. You need to replace that pool table, have working darts and good table tennis rackets and balls. Seems pretty cheap to replace to really enhance people's experience.
Also didn't like that there's no wash up bathroom downstairs, only in master. But, can live with that. Once games room is updated this place will be super good.
- Vicki (8/5): Very enjoyable spending time with family - Family celebration, large house in 25 acres with swimming pool, spa, hot tub, games room , plenty of undercover area with enough seating for 15 people. Staff from Weekenda answered questions quickly. Cost to stay 1 night very expensive. Upstairs bathroom tap handle came loose. Games room eg pool table uneven ,balls fell on the floor after going down the pocket. Games room could be renovated.
- Louise (8/5): Very good - Quiet and serene, with a bushlike aspect.
The outdoor area is huge with ample furniture for large groups.
All 8 members of the family agreed the beds in the 5 bedrooms were fantastic.
The kitchen was large enough to support 2 or 3 people in it at the one time. There were more than enough wine glasses and dinner sets, etc. Well, Weekenda, who manage the premises, somehow lost the email guest list I completed approximately 3 weeks prior to the booking date and had to resend the guest list again grrrr and my D/L 3 times because it was "blurry"
Onging Maintenance is highly recommended for this home.
The hot water tap in the bathroom shower falls off ALL the time, and this has obviously happened many many times before as the tiles below the tap are chipped. Not to mention, the tap fell on my foot, and is now bruised. This is a WHS issue and am quite sure the cleaners have reported this over and over again themselves.
There is no guest toilet in the downstairs living area. One needs to go out the back door around the corner to the outside toilet attached to the house. Yes, there is an ensuite toilet but....
The back door needs a flyscreen, otherwise leaving the door open or ajar allows mosquitoes in. Not good when sleeping at night
- Kevin (10/5): Exceptional -
