The TV did not work while we were there. The shower was VERY small. The stairs are hard to get up and down with luggage and after walking all day.

You’re 1 block away from a groceries store, the pantheon, and everything else is within 30 min. The apartment was not clean. This includes the couch bed and the bathroom. They smelled. the shower entrance was very small. We were okay but beware. It’s also on the third floor with tall steps. Managers were not super responsive when we needed help.

• Kyriaki (10/5): Value for money, a spacious place right at the center of Rome - Very cozy and spacious place, right at the center of Rome. Plenty of amenities were offered and the apartment was clean and comfortable for a three-party group. We were informed beforehand about the lack of elevator (keeping in mind that the apartment was located on the third floor). Despite the constant noise from the pacing life of Rome, the place is located in a quiet region. One minor thing that we did not like was the lack of coffee capsules for the espresso machine. Not only there were not any of them, the machine was compatible with very specific ones, not available in the markets. So we could not use the espresso machine. However, two moka pots were available - we are just not familiar with them.

• Simon (8/5): Spacious, well equipped, and clean apartment perfectly located between the Pantheon and Piazza Navona - Great location, only a couple of minutes to the Pantheon and a couple more to Piazza Navona. Plenty of space, washing machine, and well equipped kitchen to cook a meal if you want to eat in. There’s a Carrefour Express and a Co-op one block away for the basics. Nothing that would prevent a return visit. Shower box is quite small, but not a big deal.

• Nelou (9/5): Comfortable apartment in a wonderful location! - The location absolutely can't be beat. You're a block away from the viral sandwich shop, All'Antico Vinaio (worth a visit, or three haha) and 2 blocks from the Pantheon. I was walking distance from even the furthest locations I wanted to visit, and the piazza the building is situated in was surprisingly quiet at all hours of the day and night! The apartment itself is very spacious, the bed is very comfy, and there is plenty of space in the closet to hang/store all of your clothes. I really appreciated the host helping me carry my luggage up the flights of stairs and giving me tips on grocery shopping and avoiding pick-pocketers. The kitchen was well-stocked and I had everything I needed. Definitely recommend. The hot water was a bit tricky, but I was shown how to deal with it and so there were no issues!

• Rachel (9/5): Location is incredible! Host was super helpful when accommodating our late arrival. Has all the characteristics of older - Has all the characteristics of older European homes. Charming, practical, and well decorated. The apartment is way bigger than most places I’ve stayed in Europe. The shower is a little small.

Eddie met us to let us in and gave us all the required details on how to use the heating, hot water etc. I’d absolutely recommend La vita del cuore di Roma.

• Julie (7/5): Great location with plenty of space but needs a good clean. - Location was great. Walking distance to everything. Plenty of space in the apartment. Great to have a washing machine (an manual or instructions would be useful) The place needs a really good clean. Cutlery was dirty, broken lamps, dead plants, light in bathroom didn’t work. If the cleaning things that were there were clean, I would have given the place a good scrub myself. Just felt grotty. Shower is super tiny even for slight built people.
• Sumets (9/5): Superb - The room is spacious, with plenty of room to prepare real meals, dine, and sleep comfortably. The location is excellent—nearly every landmark is within a 30-minute walk. The only drawback is that it’s not very close to public transportation. The bathroom is quite small, especially the shower, which can feel cramped with three people sharing the space. It could also be a bit cleaner.
• Niki (9/5): Outstanding location, Large apartment. - Amazing location. Huge apartment. Good workable kitchen. Air conditioner. Quiet. Washington machine. Great lighting and wifi. Excellent communication from host. Up four flights of stairs which could be difficult for some. No elevator. Large washroom but tiny tiny shower. Nowhere for you to put shampoo or soap except the floor. To get at you need to open shower doors, step out of the shower because it is so tiny you can’t bend down…and we are not large people. We’ve seen this throughout Europe so it is what it is, but this felt particularly tiny. Great water pressure tho.

• Piotr (9/5): Perfect localization to visit Rome, independent and silent apartment, very good for families. - Silence, event being in strict centre. Big space of flat 70m2. Kitchen. Aircondition. WIFI. Fridge. Very clean. Very helpfull service. Overall nothing big against. Sleeping room aircondition was pushing air with some dirt dust. Only once noticed, some cleaning could be needed. Very little shower space. 3rd floor and high steps were very tireing after long hot day, might be problem for eldery people. Nothing todo with landlord, it is just it is, like this.
• Martha (9/5): A perfect place in the center of historial Rome - This is a charming apartment, nicely decorated, and ideally located in the historical center of Rome. We found that most everything we wanted to visit was within easy walking distance, exactly what we were looking for. The church of San Luigi dei Francesi, a one minute walk away, has three wonderful paintings by Caravaggio, Piazza Navona three minutes away, The Pantheon two minutes. The apartment feels spacious, the kitchen is well equipped, the bed linen was wonderful. It was exactly what my daughter, my six-year-old granddaughter and I were looking for. You do need to be aware that this is a third floor apartment with no elevator, so be prepared. Also the bathroom shower is hard to negotiate. The shower

• Annie (8/5): Great stay in a lovely spacious apartment. - Super location, lovely spacious apartment, super responsive and helpful hosts, feels slightly more authentic in a very touristic spot. Bathroom needs some TLC (cracked tiles, fan making strange noises at times, shower showing some wear). A lot of stairs but doable.

We are travelling as a family of 4 and it felt very safe. The beds could have been more comfortable and the air conditioning wasn’t strong enough for the whole apartment. It only kept the bedroom cool
• Jongbeom (7/5): Good - Room was spacious enough for 4 persons and location was excellent. Sofa bed is too old and the matres was also pressed. The room is located at 3rd level (which is actually 4th floor) but there is no elevator. There were two rooms but only one room has an air conditioner.

• Daniella (9/5): Great location and large space - Good location in the heart of Rome, large space and working air cond, washing machine and fridge. Appliances are a bit dated and bed was slightly uncomfortable and if you cannot handle a lot of stairs, try an alternative accommodation!

Very big apartment and good value for the price. -Nothing bad, but just keep in mind that you would need to pay for the late check-in if arriving after 8p.m., i think i missed this information somewhere on my booking. -shower cabin is a bit small and would be nice to have small shelves to make the use of shower gel/shampoo more comfortable

• Rachel (9/5): beautiful authentic apartment in a fabulous location, delightful host who was super friendly, hospitable and quick to re - central, quiet and well presented. 3rd floor could be a little high for some weary travellers!
• James (6/5): Nice top floor apartment to use as a base to explore Rome by foot - The property is reasonably easily accessible via bus (once you work out Rome's bus network). It is entirely possible to use this apartment as a base to explore Rome on foot. Although the apartment is on the top floor, Gianluca was great about carrying our bags up for us! The bed was comfortable, and the foldout sofa adequate. The kitchen facilities were good. The washing machine worked well. Also, differently to advertised, we did have WiFi here, which was really useful. While we were staying at the apartment, the water didn't work for over 24 hours. Gianluca was very good and got in touch with the owner to resolve the problem, but not being able to shower or flush the toilet for a day was somewhat uncomfortable. We were at least able to buy cheap bottled water from the supermarket around the corner to allow us to brush teeth and wash hands.

• Isabelle (9/5): Amazing! - The apartment has a very good location being situated very close to piazza Navona and the Pantheon. All the touristic attractions are close by., so you can walk easily everywhere you want. The apartment itself is very large well equipped, very comfortable bed in the bedroom, many storage places, situated at third floor, which for us was no problem. I think that the sofe can be replaced, because is not so comfortable to sleep in.
• Anna (10/5): Exceptional - The location was perfect, walking dostance to everywhere, just 2 minutes walk to Pantheon and Piazza Navona. The apartment was big, clean and had everything you would need. Would stay there again for sure! The only thing to note is, that the apartment is on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator (it is pretty much described in the listing, so it was not a surprize and we were fine with it :))
