• Nichole (9/5): Lovely accommodation - This self contained cottage was great. It had all the amenities we could need including a full kitchen and laundry. It was clean and well maintained. The front porch was a lovely spot to have a drink of an evening and watch the local kangaroo mob have their dinner. The room was quite bright once the sun came up so I needed an eye mask but that's just personal preference.

• Amanda (8/5): - Great for the zoo, but weather so bad we couldn’t go! Bit cramped near kitchen area with table and chairs. Only one power point only in kitchen, had to drag kettle/toaster oven oven.

• Linda (7/5): Handy clean and comfortable . - lovely outlook Would have been helpful to have a potato masher and to also have better quality kitchen utensils. Oven there, but no baking dish or casserole or anything to enable use of oven. No mixing bowl and so forth.
• Heather (9/5): Comfortable and relaxing. - Plenty of room. Laundry. Quiet location not far from the zoo, and not too far from town. The local kangaroos were a bonus.
• Pam (8/5): Very convenient, private, & space around you. - Location was excellent Maybe a small coffee table would have been nice. Plus more accessible power plugs in the kitchen. I did not like trailing electric kettle power cord across the stove top.

• Kate (8/5): Wonderful Stay, great facilities. - Very spacious, great kitchen and laundry facilities. Air conditioning and size of TV was fantastic. Having dinner on the balcony while watching the kangaroos come out of the bush to feed was a wonderful added bonus. Would definitely recommend. Just a couple of things would go a long way. No blockout blind on the bedroom so no chance of a sleep in. There was also no cupboard to hang my clothes. A few hooks on the back of the bathroom door would not go astray either. Just a few things to make the stay even better.

• Bernard (8/5): I was in Dubbo for business, but didn't want to stay "in town". It was in a perfect location - Great location out of town. Rural setting, loved seeing the kangaroos & wallabies. No bedside lights for reading in bed only very minor gripe, but apart from that it was very comfortable, clean and the hosts were friendly and helpful. A bedside reading light would have been nice. I can't think of anything I "didn't like" though.

• Rita (9/5): A rural property further on from the Dubbo zoo - It was a cabin set up in a rural area amongst a few other cabins to not be bothered by them. Quiet, peaceful and supplied with most of the comforts of home including a washing machine.
• Patrick (10/5): Our stay at HomeAwayFromHome was excellent, it exceeded our expectations. It was so clean and - Spacious, cleanliness and the location was close to all the places we visited. It’s a bit hard to find when you go back at night, so a GPS in your car would be helpful and slow down when you’re getting close to the place. I missed the entry on the last night coming back at 8 pm. But it was my fault of not slowing down.

The shower temperature was very sensitive and took ages to get it right. The oven door was also broken so I didn't attempt to use it.

Spacious, clean, comfortable and adequate facilities for my short stay Hard to find location on arrival in the dark. Google maps address came up short of the main gate - so had to call for directions.
