Tan (2/5): Good location, but disappointing stay - Good location (F&B and supermarket are within the compound, and bus stops are nearby), and the host is very responsive. (1) There are additional HIDDEN, NON-REFUNDABLE fees after booking (you will incur $30+ surcharge fees that comes with paying for the refundable damage deposit). (2) Cleanliness of the room is very poor (dusty surfaces, blood & mysterious patches of stains on pillowcases, dirty sofa with long strands of hair everywhere, cockroach running around the apartment, ironing board was dirty & stained, and kettle had a lot of scale). (3) Host sent cleaning crew to come and clean after above complaint was shared, but all they did was switch out the pillow case and left it on the (still) dirty sofa, drop off a new ironing board and another kettle (which was also dirty). Nothing else was re-cleaned. (4) Designated parking space was difficult to locate, even more so with the host sharing the wrong basement level. Spent over 15 minutes on foot on the wrong level, trying to find the numbered lot (which was not in order, so it was even more frustrating).
David (8/5): Would stay again - Liked the security of the place including the private car spot. Nice and modern with good WiFi. Close to the Gabba. Ideal for 2 The basement car parking was difficult to find the entrance as it was under a totally different building. There were no instructions provided on how to find it. Also the car space was indicated on B3 level when after much walking around it was found to be on the level below. Most of the car spaces are numbered out of sequence which made it difficult to find. Eventually found the way out by walking out the entrance from the basement. Instructions would have saved much of my time.
