• liam (7/5): need a update but was great for a couple of night to sleep and use as a base - the property room and kitchen was clean and presentable corridor leading to the room a bit dated , and in need of a new carpet , had a bit of a smell. also being hot a fan or air con needed as only the small bottom window opened, blind didn’t retract. balcony was idea but needed a good clean or make over

• Larah (3/5): Spend the extra £40 and get a basic room. - lesson learned! - Location Disgusting entrance way & stairs - there was no mention of shared bathroom in the booking and it was in fact a shared bathroom - there is one picture of the room we actually had and a load of pics of these non existent rooms - the heating was on full blast and even when we finally found the dial to turn it down it still took hours for the radiator to cool - we had to open half a window which brought in endless street noise - the people in the other room we can only assume live there and were talking in the unexpected communal kitchen right outside our door until 3am - all horrible

• LEONARDO (3/5): - La posizione è buona, molto vicino alla metropolitana e non lontano dal centro di Londra La struttura è pessima, appartamento molto piccolo, il bagno è minuscolo e con diverse mattonelle del rotte. Al nostro arrivo abbiamo trovato il lavabo della cucina otturato con acqua putrida che fuoriusciva riversandosi sul mobile e nel pavimento fino alle camere da letto. Abbiamo subito contattato l' host che dopo più di un' ora ha mandato il ragazzo delle pulizie che ha cercato invano di sturare il lavoro. Nel frattempo a causa dell'otturazione dell' impianto idrico l'acqua ha cominciato a fuoriuscire copiosamente da una lampada del tetto della scala creando una pozzanghera. Ovviamente c'era una puzza tremenda. L' host a cui abbiamo chiesto una sistemazione alternativa ha risposto dicendo che avrebbe solo mandato un idraulico per risolvere il problema del lavabo e non prendendo assolutamente in considerazione la possibilità di provvedere al pagamento di una notte presso un' altra struttura o di provvedere al rimborso già saldato, non dando alcuna importanza alle nostre preoccupazioni circa la pericolosità dell' acqua nell' impianto elettrico. Dopo un paio d'ore, alle 20:00 circa è arrivato un idraulico che ha cominciato a cercare di risolvere il problema smontando vari pezzi dello scarico. È riuscito a liberare lo scarico otturato poco prima della mezzanotte lasciando l' appartamento sporco e l'intero palazzo invaso da una puzza nauseabonda. Il giorno dopo è venuto il ragazzo delle pulizie che ha dato una sistemata e per il resto della settimana ha solo provveduto a portare la carta igienica.

The misleading info in booking.com by hiding the fact that this booking with shared toilets and kitchen which is not convenient if you were not clearly understanding that before.

L'information sur le fait que l'appartement peut être partagé avec d'autres personnes n'est pas très claire... Présence d'une caméra dans le couloir ! On se sent "observé"...

Located in a quiet and safe area close to London city centre. The kitchen and bathroom were also good and well-equipped. I went in November and the temperature inside the establishment was warm! Some of the stairs were in bad shape

• Linda Marie (4/5): Cheap and simple. You get what you pay for. - Great location when staying in London, easy access to the tube, seemingly clean room. Bathroom was falling apart, window were not able to close properly and the noise from the street was immense. Beds were really hard and the bedsheets were not clean. Really bad insulation between the rooms, so the neighbours kept us up at night.

Ungefähr 2 Minuten zur nächsten Underground und immer offene Supermärkte in der Umgebung Das Bad war die reinste Katastrophe! Es war wirklich sehr schmutzig und grenzte an Schäbigkeit. Man hatte nicht wirklich das Gefühl, das hier gereinigt wird. Auch roch die Bettwäsche leider nicht sehr frisch und es fehlte definitiv ein Spiegel im Zimmer!

La calefacción y el agua caliente funcionan muy bien en todo el apartamento. Ha sido muy cómodo. Me ha gustado todo, pero si es verdad que hay algunos pequeños detalles que mejorar, como algunas persianas, o alguna gotera. Por lo demás todo genial!

• Katarzyna Godula (10/5): - Great location. The flat is not big which is normal in London but is very comfortable. Great mattresses and powerful shower. Heating is working and it's always nice to have a kitchen. There are two rooms in one flat so if it's more of you travelling you can book two rooms and don't have to share the flat toilet and kitchen with strangers. The host was very responsive and also sent us info about the check- in beforehand. Overal.it was very comfortable and you get exactly what you pay for. Thank you again 😁 Flat needs some love and attention. Small things that could be mended and it would be great. Could also use some deep clean.

I did not expect that I will get a room in a small apartment with 2 beds and a table, almost no space left in it and no wardrobe. I booked it for 2 adults and 2 kids. The other room was booked by other family. The entire apartment has no more than 40sq m. There is no privacy, we had to take turns to use the kitchen, which was also not cleaned properly.

• Raisa (4/5): - Just the location was great. Terrible WiFi, asked the staff to change the mattress for the bunk bed but that wasn't addressed. Room heating wasn't working either. No toiletries were kept apart from hand wash. Nothing was refilled on a daily basis. Not worth the value.
• Raksha (8/5): Overall good experience, very clean and well stocked kitchen - Very good experience. Manager was responsive and got tv remote delivered fairly quickly when I informed him it was not in the room. Had to walk up to the third floor, only steps, with heavy luggage. Not fun.

• Marcella (3/5): Disappointing Stay - The location I would not recommend this property. First of all, the listing is very misleading regarding the bathroom situation. It is not clearly stated that the bathroom is shared, not private. The structure consists of three apartments, and each apartment has two rooms. If both rooms are booked, you end up sharing a single bathroom with complete strangers — something we were definitely not expecting. Cleanliness was a major issue. We had serious doubts about whether the bed sheets had been changed before our arrival, and the bath towels had an unpleasant odor. We were given only one roll of toilet paper for four days and just two coffee pods in total — for the entire stay. When I messaged the host to ask for more, the reply was, “Of course, the cleaning lady will take care of it.” Needless to say, we never saw the cleaning lady, nor did we receive any additional toilet paper or coffee pods. Also, under “bathroom amenities,” don’t expect much — it only includes hand soap. No shampoo, shower gel, or anything else. The only positive aspect was the location — close to the metro station — but unfortunately, that wasn’t enough to make up for the overall experience.

• Dee (5/5): Convenient for Lost Estate - Very convenient for attending a show at The Lost Estate. Has a good kitchen shared with one other room. Room was clean. Room very small. Would have been very tricky if we had big suitcases. Shared bathroom (with one other room) which wasn't clear it was shared on the reservation page. Stairs to the room were very grubby. No TV programmes without using own Internet.
• Anna (8/5): Overall ok - The location was great for my trip, and the overall value for money is great. All essentials were provided It's on the top floor with a steep staircase, and one person in my party had bad legs, so it was challenging. Also it's a bit loud even when windows are closed

Lots of cafes and shops at doorstep.Free parking on weekends in the streets around was an extra bonus Only one mug in the kitchen! Staircase fairly narrow.

• giorgia (6/5): Appartamento molto modesto ma posizione comoda e vicino a ristoranti e supermercati. - Vicinissimo alla stazione della metro e a ristoranti e supermercati. Eravamo molto stretti. Per 7 ( 2 famiglie) è un po’ troppo piccolo l appartamento. La nostra stanza da 3 aveva un letto a 1 piazza e mezzo e un singolo sopra.. e faceva molto caldo. Armadio e cassetti rotti.. con un po’ di manutenzione e un po’ di spazio in più però diventa super comodo e molto carino. La posizione è comodissima e la metro attaccata! Proprietario disponibile.

• Desislava (7/5): Enjoyable stay with great facilites - Location is great for exploring with kids. Very clean and super helpful staff! Great kitchen equipment in the apartment and free coffee/tea. The shower really needs reform, I read this in the previous reviews and the water does really keep changing temperature and not ideal especially with little kids as it goes very drastic cold and hot.
• Celine (10/5): Excellent accommodation! - We had a fantastic experience and would definitely book this accommodation again. We stayed in a triple room (lovely bunk beds) and shared the flat with another room. So the experience also depends on the number of other guests and their attitude. I spent ages searching for the right place in terms of budget, location, practicality, and comfort with kids. (The other shared flats for our family of 3 that I had found online for a similar budget seem to have 4-5 bedrooms sharing 1 bathroom and 1 kitchen, which must be a pain with several travellers in each room.) We were very impressed by this place and the great communication with the owner who is very responsive. The check-in is very easy and secure with an entry code for each door. There is a webcam at the entrance of the flat, which adds to the security (careful not to get out of the bathroom naked though;-). The location is amazing. You can enjoy the buzz of the city with many shops, cafés and restaurants in the street and a lovely terrace if you stay on the 1st floor (there are similar 2-bedroom flats over 3 floors) and it's only 1 min walk to West Kensington Station (tube: District line) and to the bus stop (lines 28, 306 and night bus N28). Other accommodation places are often a lot further away from the tube. The flat is very cosy, clean and well thought out. The owner provides a towel for each traveller, the comfortable beds are made, you will find different TV options in the langage you wish, hand soap, toilet paper, a hairdryer... In the kitchen, there is a microwave and even an oven, a dishwasher, a washing machine, a Tassimo coffee machine (a pod may be provided upon arrival)... The table also makes you feel at home. In the cupboard, you should find some necessities (including oil, salt, washing-up liquid, and maybe washing powder depending on what other travellers have left behind). We have met very nice people thanks to this flatshare. The flat is quiet but if you are a light sleeper, be aware there may be some background music (not too loud) in the late evening (maybe from another flat or the Lebanese restaurant next door?) and the bedroom with 2 double beds overlooks a busy street (the triple door doesn't overlook any street, which is amazing). The thermostat in the shower is unreliable and if you have kids, you may need to get in the shower with them as the button to turn the water on and adjust the temperature is 2 metres high. I told the owner who replied immediately and takes every comment seriously. Be aware of the stairs. The owner has flats on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors. You should also know that - by definition - sharing a flat involves some compromises in terms of noise, cleanliness, space and waiting time to the toilet, bath and kitchen. But that's also part of the London experience!

The apartment is clean and tidy, despite a few things that need fixing. There is everything needed in the kitchen. The welcome cookies and coffee capsules are a nice gesture. dirty pots and pans in the kitchen. they should be cleaned or changed.

• Karen (8/5): Very good - The room was ok, as described. There are múltiple cafés, markets and restaurants near the appartment. Everything makes a lot of noise in the apartment (doors, toilet, etc.). Our room was next to the bathroom and if someone flushed the toilet during the night we would be woken up. The room has no appropriate ventilation.

• Alex (4/5): Fine basic room with shared facilities. - The location would have been ideal for the event we were attending. We asked the owner to cancel our booking due to family illness. He refused to do so. So we confirmed we would be sending a family member anyway to make use of the room and event rather than losing it all. Turned up to find the room had been used. Wet towels hanging about, both beds had been slept in with the covers all over the place. Room wasn’t very nice at all. So we left to book another place. We did message the owner to say, and to give him credit he did respond a little later to say he would send the cleaner over - however it was too late at this point. We had booked elsewhere. Asked to cancel the room once again as was not ready or fit for purpose and he refused. Very poor customer service. Just thankful we managed to locate an alternative in time.

• David (9/5): Superb - The location is excellent as it is right across edge street from West Kensington tube station! You can also walk from Earl's Court tube station. The restaurant "Rihan Valley" downstairs on ground floor offers absolutely delicious Arab/Lebanese food, I highly recommend you check it out. The apartment was cleaned several times during the week we stayed there. The apartment faces a busy road, but the windows keep the noise out. Air quality outside the window (2nd floor) was actually quite okay despite the busyness of the street. One of the beds was missing a mattress support strut, which made it a bit more difficult to find a comfortable sleeping position (for a tall person).
• Dave (8/5): Good, basic accommodation that is well situated for access to Underground. - Proximity to the event we attended that night.
• Nicolas (9/5): Superb - Very well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds and a clean bathroom. Close to a metro station, and there are a lot of markets and restaurants in the area. Some stairs to get to the apartment, but that way, we avoided the noise from the street.
• Nasto (9/5): Superb - We had a wonderful stay at this apartment! It was exactly as shown in the photos and description – everything was just as expected. The apartment was very clean and well-maintained, and the quality was great for the price. The location was perfect, making it easy to get around and explore the area. The check-in process was very convenient and straightforward. We did make a small mistake and had to contact the owner, but they responded immediately and resolved the issue without any hassle. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this apartment!

• Nicolas (10/5): Perfect for small budget. - For low-cost budget, this was perfect. Family of 4 including 2 kids 11 years old. Beds were OK. 1 mattress would need to be changed but the kids slept on it so it was fine! Heating was working, TV was with Netflix for free, so to finish the late day in bed was perfect with a bit of Netflix. Bathroom was clean and tidy. Hot water. Small kitchen to share with other bedroom next to us. All facilities were there as well. Loads of nice restaurants a few steps away. Supermarkets and underground a few steps away as well. Owner let us put our bags in the kitchen for a few hours which was perfect after check out. We could still do a few things in London without having to carry bags. All in all, if you’re on a small budget and you’re not used to Five stars hotel, this is the perfect spot to crush, sleep and visit London! 1 mattress needed change

• Anna (8/5): Excellent location with good facilities on the whole - the location was very good, very near the metro The flat was a bit small, and the sofa bed could have been a bit more comfortable but it was fine to sleep on.

• Linda (1/5): Worst stay ever - Dreadful. Do not stay here Bed was dirty when we arrived. Spent an hour trying to contact host to get it cleaned - who sent a WhatsApp message saying he was cancelling the booking - leaving us with nowhere to stay in London at 5pm on a Friday! Disgusting behaviour. Should not be allowed to advertise on booking.com Had to phone up and grovel to be allowed to stay. When complained to booking.com was given £28 as compensation for a 4 day break totally ruined.
• Bayarmaa (6/5): I don’t come back here again - Location 1. Floor was noisy when I walk 2. Door was cheering when I open and close I felt It was uncomfortable for other room people 3. Pillows were too thin and uncomfortable 4. Window blind not working and couldn’t open the window all the time room was dark
