Guest Reviews
- Alexandra (3/5): Very poor, uncomfortable and unpleasant apartment. - It was located quite in the center of Rome , elevator The apartment was old and decoration outdated, it needs badly refurbishing and repair. The kitchen was badly equipped, the kitchenware is very old. On the whole the apartment looks like a place where the owner has left everything he / she doesn’t need, some separate objects, half burnt candles, strange stuff. At the same time there were only two wine glasses and those of different sizes and models, tea cups all very old, different and some a little broken. The coffee maker of the Italian style, very old and inconvenient. The fridge is very small, with no shelves on the door, working very strangely, some food became totally frozen, like yoghurt and mozzarella. The bathroom very small, old, the shower is tiny. Warm water sometimes was not enough to take a shower. The stairs to the bedroom are very small and inconvenient. The watertank is close to the bed and switches on and off during the night, it’s very unpleasant. The mattress and pillows are hard like stones and only because we were very tired every day after sightseeing and all we didn’t feel it that much. It wasn’t clean at all, the curtains were grey and dusty, I don’t they have ever been washed (though originally they were white). And it is not so easy to get inside the apartment in the beginning, because you need internet to open the automatic lock and there is no coverage inside the house. So it’s better to connect the mobile phone to the WiFi of the apartment and then open the lock. But the owner didn’t tips on that. We guessed about that later.
So it didn’t feel nice to be in the apartment, much nicer in the city.
- Michelle (10/5): Central apartment to make you feel at home - Location was central, all the amenities of your own apartment with washing machine. Note - there is no dryer but you can hang clothing on railing if you have a lot, or there is a small drying rack in the washroom. Host was quick to respond to help us if needed. Restaurants and convenience store on the same block or around the corner. Very small shower. Door lock - depending on the way you turned the knob more locks would activate instead of opening and only if you had data or wifi. Once we figured out which way to turn it was fine.
