• Samantha (1/5): AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST! DON'T BELIEVE THE GOOD REVIEWS! - Only 1 good thing is the location. This should not be listed on Booking.com. It is a AirBNB style accommodation. Arrived early to the accommodation under a different booking (Axon Residence KLCC Suites At Kuala Lumpur) but when wanted to check in, the person in charge came up with a lame excuse (last minute) saying that the room requires maintenance and was unavailable for that day. The PIC then asked to cancel the booking. When asked the PIC to find a room, the PIC said that there is no more room available. Due to being late for an event nearby, we had no choice but to find an accommodation in the nearby area. That's when we came upon this accommodation (Axon Kuala Lumpur City Centre KLCC by One39KL) which is also ironically in the same building which supposingly had no more rooms available . In the end we had to pay double the price of the original booking which felt like a scam.
• Rakganyane (10/5): The property is 2 minutes walk go bus and train station and the mall. The property is 2 minutes walk to the mall, metro - It was sophisticated, with a touch of black wall and curtains that made is so easy for me if I want to take a nape during the day, I closed the curtain and switched of the light. It has double door when entering the room that makes it so relaxing without heating people walking and talking on the corridor. The room was Very clean Nothing

• Bikyee (6/5): Great location but host was intimidating. - The location of the property was fantastic. Just a stone throws away from all the good shopping malls (Lot 10, Fahrenheit 88, Pavilion etc), and many good restaurants and street food vendors. The apartment had an amazing view from the 39th floor and a lovely infinity pool. The host wasn't great. I booked a 2-bedroom apartment, but on arrival found out the 2nd bedroom was not available for the first night because the previous occupant wanted to stay an extra night. He refused to give me a refund and was quite rude and intimidating. Not wanting to ruin the start of my holiday, I didn't argue the point further with him and didn't want to see him for the rest of my stay. Being a very large apartment complex, the wait for a lift would often take 5-10 mins during 'peak' hours. Also, the lift RFID card often wouldn't recognise the floor that you're meant to go to, so you go up and down unnecessarily. The apartment itself wasn't well stocked in the kitchen, for example 2 bowls between 3 people. It felt like crockery had been broken over time but never replaced. There were also no hooks in the bathroom and no clothes rack (which was something in the room description), so it was hard to dry towels and swim wear.

• Eggleton (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent location in the heart of Bukit Bintang. 10 minute walk from Jalan Alor etc. Excellent facilities, apartment was on 36th floor with amazing views. Rooftop pool was on 37th floor, with view to Petronas towers. Room was clean, spacious and modern with Netflix capable tv. Convenient Shops opposite such as 7/11, fruit shop, great cheap restaurant frequented by locals serving great food. Manager of property was very responsive and met us at the property promptly to welcome us and show us to the room.

• Raihanahxo (8/5): Great and clean place! Near Sungei Wang and surrounding had a lot of food. Worth the money. - I loved the pool and the gym. It was very clean and spacious and even though it was crowded at the time I went (Gym at 8am and pool at 4pm) , the place was decent! The room is big, cold and there are many power points. Came with fridge, induction cooker and water boiler. Would be good if there was a microwave as well, but it was still decent. We stayed at the 39th level and the view is just fantastic! Also, since this a fairly new place, everything was well kept and clean. There is food stalls all over the place, near Sungei Wang Mall and there is a mini mart just below and 711 across the street. No AC in the lift, had to stand under the heat till the 39th level. The room aircon was a bit hot in the middle of the night but the living room ac was working. A bit tedious to pick up the key as we had to wait for the staff to come down. Lift was a bit slow as a lot of people are using the lift. Please prepare cash upon arrival as they dont allow card payment. Only cash and bank transfer.

There’s no aircon in them and waiting for them on your floor. You can be waiting ages and so uncomfortable / so hot. It was horrible! Check in at 3pm and charged us extra to check in earlier Felt like an Airbnb. Staff front counter had no idea what was going on. Tried to explain I booked 2 Nights and leaving at 5pm so not staying a full night so please don’t charge us early check in fee and still charged us.

• Melanie (8/5): AXON - great location! Great value! - The location was fabulous! 300m walk to The Pavilion and Starhill Gallery shopping centres, with lots of eateries nearby. Short walk to Jalan Alor, the night street food. We were only transitting through for 36 hours on our way to Langkawi, with shopping being our primary reason to stay, so we didn't visit any other attractions. Just be aware, that this amazing twin building apartment block is somewhat in the middle of slum. It's quite confronting once you head back off the main shopping and eatery strip. The room set up isn't ideal for families with young children. We had teen girls, so it was perfect, however. You enter a foyer (with a key fob) and two rooms are off the foyer (each room can have a key fob, so I guess they may rent out both rooms separately on occasion). There aren't stoppers to keep the doors open, is why I say it isn't ideal for families with young children. One room is the studio with kitchenette. The second room is a hotel style room. Both had ensuites. We had to request a tea towel and bath mats as these weren't supplied. If you want to use the pool, bring your own towels, as these are not supplied. The bathroom in our studio wasn't overly clean. The grout could have done with a good scrub. The bed in the studio didn't have a mattress protector, and could have done with a pillow top of some sort, as it was quite uncomfortable. A few changes could be implemented to make the stay amazing, but for the price and location, I overlooked those. I would stay at the Axon building again, probably just choose another apartment.
• Yvonne (6/5): Pleasant - I booked the unit for my tenants, as my rental unit was undergoing repair work. They liked the location, and unit is still fairly new, though the common areas are just about maintained for basic functions/accessibility. Payment and check in process seems rather fly by night. They prefer cash on the spot during check in. Not an advisable arrangement, given that there was no office/lobby, absence of billings/receipts or a registered entity running this. The entire process and person in charge (just a guy with a mobile number) does not provide much confidence or transparency - in the event of any dispute due to mismatched description, condition of unit or refund process. I would not have gone ahead with the booking had my tenants chosen another location.

• Rick (1/5): Worst experience in KL after many years of travel to KL. Seems like more of a cheap back packer accomodation which I did - Location and cost effective. Dirty and Smelly. Bad smell in Lobby, Bad Smell in toilet. Poor greeting and customer handling. Process. The staff member we had was good but the process is very bad. Arrived to be told by a security guard to fill in a form and take a seat and wait for someone to bring a key. Have to continuously ask someone to bring fresh towels and change the trash bad a change the bed sheets. Will never recommend to anyone. Elevators were hot and smelly.

• Mun (7/5): Suits solo traveller or couples going to KL, treat this like an Airbnb - Location, close to everything. Good view of the city. Has all basic amenities, WiFi and a comfy bed. Fridge is a plus. The washing machine/dryer is a huge bonus as I've stayed for a week. Air conditioning/ hot water system were great after a long day out. Utensils and accessories were basic, so be prepared to shop for things. Treat this like an Airbnb. You're not dealing with the hotel manager at the lobby but with a host who will come and meet you when contacted. No access to the swimming pool or gym.
