Guest Reviews
- Chris (9/5): - Lots of local amenities nearby Not applicable
- Zarzoso (8/5): Weekend getaway - Approx 10 mins walk to the train station
Bus is accessible to go to O2 arena wardrobe not available in one room
- Sharon dlg (6/5): Pleasant and basic. - Lovely house in a decent area. Close to a quaint little pub. An hour or so away from London central. Good for a couple of nights. The sheets were nice and clean. I'm sure it will improve as it's still new on the booking.com site. We were so busy doing the tourist thing that we all slept like the dead from exhaustion so the mattresses were forgiven. Mattresses need upgrading, the shower is in the bath and very slippery which is dangerous. We stood on a towel that I brought with.
Its the first place we have stayed in that didn't have milk in the fridge, I missed that little touch because we didn't have time to stop and buy some for our first night there.
Overall we were happy.
- Maarja (3/5): Would not stay here again after a negative experience - Location was great as it was near the O2 Arena where my friends and I were going. My friends and I stayed at the accommodation for a concert at the O2. Unfortunately we found the stay more of a negative experience.
The house was not cleaned from the previous stay as we arrived, even though I contacted the property manager in advance a few days before and again on the day of our arrival to inform of our arrival time. I did not get a response until I called about an hour before we were due to be there, and was told that she will send the cleaner around - he arrived a little after we did.
Because of that, my friends and I had to get ready and changed for the event in the rooms downstairs and were not able to shower after hours of travelling, as the cleaning took a couple of hours and he stayed past the time we left for the evening.
Despite being cleaned for a few hours, the house wasn't clean: the middle bedroom was not clean and my friends had to move to another room, there were makeup items on the floor in the bathroom that were not ours, glasses in the kitchen had to be rewashed before using. Additionally, the light in the downstairs bathroom did not work and the light in the upstairs bathroom was faulty and would randomly turn off at times.
While getting ready, we found out our arrival was forgotten about, as we were informed by the person cleaning and that's why he had rushed over to do the cleaning. We would have preferred if the property manager/host were honest about the situation as we would have understood, because errors happen. Instead we were told that the cleaner was running behind schedule.
When communicating with the property manager about this after our stay, I was told that if I had contacted her on the day or the day after our stay (which I did), she would have been able to compensate the disruption, however she never responded to my last message about this, which suggests that there was no intention to take this complaint seriously.
- Lauren (10/5): Lovely weekend in London. Perfect house. - Great location
- Elizabeth Mariam (10/5): It was a great experience - It’s spacious and clean, easy access to bus stops Nothing really
- Andrew (7/5): A clean and spacious house located in a quiet area of London, well located for travel links. - The property is spacious and well located. It is clean and well decorated. The surrounding area was quiet, but it was a short walk to local shops or frequent local bus services to North Greenwich Underground Station, the O2 and beyond. Given that it was a property accomodating 8 people, some more cutlery would have been appreciated (I think there were only 5 forks), a towel per person (6 towels provided) and a tea towel in the kitchen would have been nice. Also the lights in the downstairs toilet and bathroom weren't great.
- Iain (8/5): Very good -
- Shannon (8/5): Nice, spacious house - Good location for o2, 30 min walk 5 min bus journey to o2
- Adrian (9/5): Superb - Was a nice clean, tidy and comfortable property. Would definitely use again if I am in the area
- Katrin (9/5): Perfect location - Excellent location, very quiet. Host super amazing. All clean and tidy. Heater couldn't be turned on. Mattresses very uncomfortable. Back garden a bit of a sad story. But not a drama.
- Ivan (9/5): Superb -
- Emily (8/5): Very good - Only bad thing was the state of the garden
- Justin (7/5): A decent stay on a nice quiet street - very communicative host. On a very quiet street in close proximity to restaurants and grocery stores. some areas of the house felt like they needed to be deep cleaned. For example, the restroom cracks and crevices were a bit dirty, and a few spots in the house needed some extra care.
- Beatrice (9/5): Superb - Super clean! Host took us without too much notice and were super accommodating- sent check in instructions before stay was super easy
- Philip (10/5): Exceptional - As described and very good communication. Really good location and good value for money.
- Paula (9/5): Great stay in lovely 3 Bed House Near London o2 Arena - comfortable and relaxing in great location! - The space within the house was fantastic - plenty of room for the entire party, with the children delighted at not being in a hotel room for a change. It was also very comfortable, with everyone commenting on the amazing sleep they had in the stoplessly clean beds. The house setting, although in a residential street is also very quiet so it didn't feel like being in the thick of it all in a busy London area.
The location was great - so easy to get to, with great bus service a few minutes away. Taxis were readily available upon booking at various times of day and evening also.
Very friendly and responsive hosts. I only had one query as we arrived a bit earlier than our stated check-in, but they were on it within minutes - very impressed with the service received. We'd definitely return. There are some snagging issues in bathroom, which could be tidied up just to make it more asthaetically pleasing - but this in no way detracted from the experience. All rooms were very clean which is the main thing.
With us just coming out of winter, the garden was a bit overgrown and untidy, which again, did not detract from the enjoyment of our stay, but it could look lovely from the dining room looking out over the garden - the weather was sunny and warm on the weekend we stayed - much to everyone's surprise, so sitting out would also have been nice. Maybe the garden does get a bit of TLC once the weather improves.
I cannot complain about the house, or our expeirence with hosts - we had 3 generations on a special trip and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their stay.
- Shuk (1/5): Horrible experience, not recommend - Nothing ! Heating of double bed room didn't work
- Brian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bryoni (8/5): Value for money right near the O2! - Really good location in a quiet cul de sac. About 20 minute flat walk from the O2 arena. Plenty of food and pub options nearby. The house was clean and comfortable to stay in with on street parking. Would definitely use again if we had another event in London. Hosts were quick at replying as well.
- James (5/5): Acceptable but Average - location was very good Limited parking on the street, cleanliness was average, photos taken along time ago with the condition not the same as the photos. It weas good enough for 1 night but if i would of had to stay for a few nights probably would of moved.
- Precious (8/5): Very good -
- Ellen (8/5): Very good -
- Aliyu (10/5): Awesome - The property was top notch. The host was very patient and willing to assist on any request.
- Nicky (7/5): Good - Excellent for attending the o2 - great transport links at the end of the road Hosts not responding to emails regarding check in details - had to ring twice to get details - heating wasn’t on so house was freezing and took a long time to warm up
- Karen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jo (10/5): Stayed here as a group of friends. Easy to find and check in. Spacious house and good facilities - Plenty of room, easy check in, good facilities Could only find 2 towels
- Nathan (10/5): Exceptional - Neighbours were very nice. Very good spot to get around London too with two stations. Host was quick to reply and made the check in easy which is normally the problem with booking.com. Thanks for the stay
- Anonymous (4/5): very disappointing house, would not recommend. - location to the O2 and parking right outside. It was warm and lounge was pleasant and comfy, although basic Misleading title of Newly Refurbished House. Didn't get keycode till after arrival and had to phone twice to receive it.
Downstairs toilet in very poor state, definitely NOT refurbished or very clean. Kitchen basic and tatty. Beds uncomfortable and rooms very sparse, no table to put things on in bedroom with two double beds. Bathroom certainly not refurbished and in a poor state, the ceiling paint was peeling off and the shower water went everywhere despite keeping the door in the bath as advised.
It was basic student type accomodation and certainly not worth the money.
- Adam (8/5): Overall it’s clean & close to where I wanted to go. I will definitely rebook this again. - Convenient & lowkey Couldn’t get the boiler to work
- Jeevithan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Awoniyi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Declan (6/5): Pleasant - Good location decently priced Mould
- Osondu (6/5): Pleasant - The property is good and in a good location within a quiet and serene neighbourhood. It's not far from bus routes. Some of the equipment needs to be upgraded. The bed and the locker in the living room. The floor makes a lot of noise
- Tomáš (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tony (8/5): Very good -
- Vanessa (10/5): Very good 3-bedroom solution in a quiet part of London. - Good location next to the O2, and plenty of buses to get to North Greenwich tube station quickly. The house has spacious rooms, and is very quiet. A few kitchen accessories are missing (a colander and a large pot), but nothing too annoying.
- Chaudhry (8/5): Very good -
- Jo (8/5): Very good -
- Deirdre (8/5): Very good - Quiet area and great location (bus at the end of the road takes you into Greenwich or to o2 for connection to tube.
- Neil (9/5): Superb -
- Linda (7/5): Our stay was good and location was very goodie our purpose - The place was clean and very ready to receive us very great place for a family The back yard and the front yard needed gardening
- Rachel (9/5): Superb -
- Matter (7/5): it was a pleasant stay - Good location Convert Bath To Walk In Shower
- Stephen (9/5): Clean and easy reach of the O2. - Was how we expected it to be. Good communication about entry etc. No tea or coffee
- Roy (9/5): Superb - Great location for a visit to the 02 Arena, comfortable rooms, nice and spacious Garden could do with a tidy up but a minor quibble
- Gerrard (10/5): Really pleasureable stay and great host who provided excellent communication before and during stay :) - Excellent location for the o2 and high street was 2 mins walkaway for food and drinks :) N/A
- Kirsty (6/5): Pleasant -
- Brenden (8/5): Great communication from the owner who answered questions and was flexible, a great house in a handy spot not far from G - Good spot and nicely kept house
- Lewis (10/5): Exceptional - The property was located in a very good location, just a 5 minute taxi or 25 minute walk from the O2. There was also lots of local shops just round the corner.
It was nice and quiet and the host was extremely friendly and helpful and had excellent communication.
- Natasha (10/5): Very relaxing - Clean, comfortable and in an environment excellent location for the O2. N/A
- Daniela (8/5): Great location, responsive host - we had a nice stay - Great location. Very clear check-in instructions, host was very nice and responsive. Heating and hot water - excellent (that was a big concern for us). Kitchen is well equipped, a coffee machine would of been great though (it is very important for me). In general it was clean (vacuum cleaned, no dust, etc.) , but needs major cleaning - for example windows on 2nd floor seemed like haven't been touched/washed for years. Bathroom was clean! Quiet area. Windows were dirty - need major cleaning. Kitchen cupboards were also not quite clean. Would be nice to update some of the furniture/cupboards.
- Sean (9/5): Superb -
- Halgurd (10/5): Exceptional -
- Grzegorz (8/5): Very good -
- Toby (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kali (10/5): Perfect - The property was very spacious & had the best rooms. I liked everything as it was accessible & close to shops & the O2 arena. N/A
- Robin (8/5): Lovey place in a great location, staff and owner were very nice and great at communicating - Very clean and convenient property Only complaint was none of us manage to have a hot shower. Water kept jumping from hot to cold very quickly
- Shazeda (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ruth (9/5): Amazing stay, gorgeous, clean house, fab location and easy parking. - Amazing stay, location was perfect, with free parking right outside the property. Getting around was super easy and stress free (even with young kids). The house was gorgeous, very clean and spacious with plenty of storage space for clothes etc. Vicki the host seems lovely too. Just a personal preference really, I found the mattress a little stiff, if someone moved the other person knew about it.
- Jonathan (8/5): Perfect location, comfortable and value for money - Host is very responsive and clear. The location is perfect as it is easily accessible by bus and tube. Neighborhood feels safe and family friendly. Heater works perfectly and rooms are neat and tidy. TV in each bedroom. Wifi is perfect and fast. Very minor things we did not like. The toilet doesn't lock properly, the kitchen misses a coffee maker, (for me this is essential), creaking floors, kettle needs to decalcify, front and backyard are not maintained, front door lock is not perfectly working.
- Shimaa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Feranmi (9/5): Superb -
