- Claire (1/5): Don’t stay here unless ur only here for a night it’s ok to sleep nothing else - The beds were comfy Everything the room wasn’t what described or what the pictures were, didn’t say we had a shared bathroom two women on there own didn’t really feel safe , it’s all dated and needs renewing , avengers shower curtain , would cook there or eat off the cutlery or plates , was no cleaning clothes only dirty sponges , says room serve 🤷♀️
- Faysol (10/5): Nice location, clean and tidy - Very spacious, good location, friendly host. Clean tidy property.
- Ravikumar (1/5): This property is froud don't book I loss my 100£ please don't do this because everyone comes with family within - This property is froud Don't book I loss my 100£ This property is froud don't book I loss my 100£
- Zach Moriarty (1/5): - Nothing If I could give them minus stars, I would. This so-called “hotel” is an utter disgrace and should be removed from Booking.com immediately. They phoned me up while I was travelling to London to tell me the accommodation was “unavailable” and that I should cancel the booking myself. If I’d actually done that, I would have lost every penny. Luckily, I contacted Booking.com directly and eventually got my refund — but I strongly suspect this was a blatant attempt to scam me out of my money.
I was left panicked and stranded on the coach, having to frantically book alternative accommodation at much higher cost. When I tried to speak to them on the phone, the man barely spoke English and was completely useless. No apology, no explanation, no help — just lies and stress.
This isn’t just bad service, it’s soul-destroying. It reeks of fraud. I don’t recommend anyone book here unless you want to be conned. Avoid at all costs.
- Meseret (1/5): - It didn’t feel safe at all you don’t get the room you’ve paid for and bathrooms dirty not clean and the room was dusty and unclean
- mark (5/5): - Localto wherei neededtobe Booked a room with 2 proper beds and a bathroom inside our room ended up getting a complete differentl ocation one bed one sofa bed and sharedbathroom not what i booked and payed the extra money for i payed the extra to specifically have 2 proper beds and a bathroom to ourselves
- Sonja (6/5): - Sehr klein, sehr abgewohnt, kaputtes Klimastandgerät, keine Ablagefläche im Zimmer u. Bad. Schlechtes Licht im Bad.
- Barbara (3/5): Towels and sheets were not clean - only 9 beds not 10 - would NOT stay here again - We were met at the property to receive the keys and to be shown the apartment. There was 10 of us in total but only 9 beds so one of the group had to sleep on the sofa (which did not convert into a bed) we were told there was another room available over the road in another building but the reason we booked this was so that we could all be together, so it was very disappointing to say the least.
Some of the sheets on the beds were not clean and some of the towels were stained, and the guy asked us not to get make up on the beds!!!! So it is not somewhere I would recommend or return to.

Disappointing Experience at the Hotel
I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately, my experience was not as pleasant as I had hoped. While the room and location were decent, I was very disappointed by the way the hotel handled my late check-out.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, I checked out later than the standard time, and I was charged $90 for it. I understand that hotels may apply a fee for late check-out, but this amount felt extremely unreasonable and excessive, especially given that I only stayed a few hours beyond the check-out time.
I tried to explain my situation to the front desk, but there was no flexibility or understanding shown. This left me feeling quite frustrated and dissatisfied with the customer service.
Overall, I don’t believe the late check-out fee reflected the value or service provided. I hope the management will review their policy and treat future guests with more understanding and fairness.
- Guest (4/5): Not recommended - The bedroom was nice It states ‘Private Bathroom’.
When i got to the location, it was a shared bathroom which was off putting since having a private bathroom was important to me. Along with that I had to share with men who cant tidy up themselves and left the bathroom in a state. I obviously didnt use it and had to use the bathroom in the restaurant. Someone tried to come in my door twice which made me uncomfortable and wary on staying there, resulting on my paying loads on a taxi so I can get home and sleep there instead.
- Tim (2/5): Should be cleaner - Location Not clean, dirty sheets, dirty floor not cleaned. The shower is mouldy and no fridge. Noisy all night and couldnt sleep. Location is not as advertised.
- Huxtable (1/5): Dont stay - Nothing Felt Unsafe – Host Aggressive and Refusing Refund
We are two young women who booked this property for a concert trip to London, and the experience was awful from the start. The listing had two different addresses, which made it extremely difficult to find. We tried calling the property multiple times before anyone answered. When they finally did, the man was rude and aggressive — pressuring us to pay £30/hour for early check-in when we were just trying to get help finding the location.
When we called back again for clarification, we were shouted at and accused of calling too many times. The tone was threatening and made us feel completely unsafe, especially knowing this person had potential access to our room.
We did not stay at the property because we felt unsafe and uncomfortable. We had to book another hotel last-minute at our own expense — and now we are being refused a refund despite never even checking in. Communication has been evasive and dishonest since.
This was not just poor service — as far as we’re concerned, this is a safeguarding issue. No guest, especially young women travelling alone, should be subjected to this kind of treatment. Booking.com needs to take responsibility for protecting paying customers from hosts like this and ensuring guest safety is a priority.
- Tillymarie (1/5): Terrible,
Terrible, don't book this!! - When we got to the room i noticed this was the wrong room and not room i had booked and didnt have the bancony and he said this is your room and then came back and gave us the correct room and when we got into correct room ,The cooker was dirty, and there were dirty dishes in the dishwasher on arrival, and it was all dirty and smelled bad and you can't not see the 02 arena from balcony and I would never stay their again and this listing should be removed and it's con out money and bathroom had sink had limescale and bath and black mold around bath and hole place smell bad and stay 1 night because couldn't get back until next morning and left early as couldn't stand it and t.v remote was horrible and I had clean it with wet wipes before being able to using it and didn't take pictures but wish I did
- Marie (1/5): Mis advertised, uncomfortable shared accommodation not private as advertised. - The location was okay but not as easily accessible to the O2 as advertised Shared bathroom despite stating it had a private bathroom, uncomfortable beds, not friendly service. I wouldn’t stay there again
- Lorna (8/5): Very good - Self-contained facilitoes Bathroom was a bit tired. Upgrading it would enhance the experience
- Nina (1/5): Not toilet trained - Nothing There was nothing to like
- Oyinlola (1/5): My stay was horrible the place stinked smelt waste of money it’s not said that it’sa share accommodation and it was real - Nothing I was cattishrd The owner accused me of things that other people in the this shared accommodation was doing the owner was asking me for extra no he deposit when on booking .com they don’t ask you or state this the owner wasn’t picking up my phone calls he was rude disrespectful
- Ronaldo (4/5): not like pictures, close to canary wharf though - not like pictures not like pictures
- Jacquie (4/5): Disappointing - The vicinity to the 02 was ideal The quilt cover was stained . There was no hot water and the bathroom wasn't very clean. The taps were corroded and there weren't any plugs
- Luke (5/5): Passable -
- Smith (1/5): Bad -
- Lisa (9/5): Great stay - I was attending a concert, so the location was very handy. Just a 10 minute drive to the 02 Arena. Check in went smoothly. The staff were very helpful and easy to contact. Room was very clean and had a comfortable bed. Had a really nice ensuite bathroom. Would definitely stay here again.
- Anonymous (4/5): A catfish of accommodation - Def not as represented. - The room itself was clean
The location is 10 mins from the O2 by taxi. The advertising is false. The bathroom is shared and was full of half used bottles of shampoo and conditioner as well as a tube of used toothpaste! We didn’t even want to shower because it was so horrible. Although there is parking it is not part of the booking and has to be paid for. The check in process isn’t straight forward.
- Anonymous (4/5): Disappointing -
- Davies (1/5): Don't stay at Greenwich the O2 - Our stay at Greenwich the O2 got cancelled the day before by the owner of the apartment, and we are STILL waiting for the money back some 2 months later. Emailed (several times) / called booking.com and had no response. As we didn't cancel our stay, we just want our money back.
Have other people had the same done to them?
- Valentino (1/5): Bad - Nothing
- Singh (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (1/5): Bad -
- Prince (5/5): Passable -
- Garry (4/5): Was supposed to be super dubble deluxe - Was not clean had to pay £20 for parking
- Nic (1/5): DO NOT BOOK. ITS UNHYGIENIC,
UNSAFE,OVERPRICED,MISLEADING.
SHOCKINGLY UNPROFESSIONAL SERIVCE. - NOTHING. Really dont know where to start.
The advert on booking.com is misleading, firstly its not a Deluxe room, (I would list it as a Hostel) the private bathroom isn't private. It is dirty and unhygienic, I would advise you to go to the free toilets in london city as they are 100% cleaner. There was NO HOT WATER. Its WAS shockingly run down and DIRTY!
The whole advert is misleading.
I woke up at 5am due to the sun shinning though the window burning my face (curtains where cheap and see though) I got up to use the shared toilet to find we had no electric in the property or hotwater! I tried contacting the property owner and the person who actually met us at the property the day before, both didnt respone, I had 7% battery which I explained in several messages to both of the contact numbers I had, I also contacted booking.com. No one responded for nearly 4hours, the property owner then tells me to climb in a storage cupboard and open mains box to look for a blown fuse and switch back on. No apologise or explanation why this had happened nothing!! The Property owner would not answer any calls from myself or the other guests. I am making a complaint and raising several concerts I have for health and safety in this property for myself and other paying guests.
This property is over charged for what it actually stats it is. IE, Deluxe Room/ Private bathroom that is actually a scummy unclean rundown small room and shared unhygienic dirty unsafe, with no hotwater bathroom. This is a total con and misleading advert of facility's. I honestly can not say one good thing about the property or the property owner, this has got to be the worse place I've paid to stay in.
PLEASE THINK TWICE BEFORE BOOKING THIS PROPERTY, ITS UNSAVE AND DISGUSTINGLY DIRTY. I WOULDNT WANT MY DOG IN THERE.
- Charlie (1/5): unexapdable - nothing, I was ripped off by not getting what I paid for, aswel as the fire safety being non existent and the electric going out around 3am, (shown by the kettle not working, aswel as many other residents showing the same concern) making it unable to charge our phones or use a light.
I called booking.com to complain about the state of the room, and the company told me they had 'resolved it' by bring a TV up and making sure no one else used the bathroom. both these things didn't happen, as you can see by me attaching a photo of the toilet being occupied AFTER he stated these things. he is a Lire, and made no effort to contact me during any time. everything. the staff was rude and ignorant, and when I tried to communicate with them they straight up ignored me. I'll be trying go get a refund, aswell ad I've been told atleast 2 other rooms (4 guest) will be doing the same. as we didn't get what we paid for, aswel as being treated poorly for our first trip to London.
I'd also like to add that the company have today trued to say we didn't leave the keys, which is false, we even took a picture of us leaving them, as people next door where told to do this, even though we wernt. I have since sent him (Nur, the manager), the photos, and not heard anything back, aswel as not any reply to the things pointed out in the messages I had sent.
- Kayleigh (5/5): Good location, easy access to local transport. Was not very clean, but was satisfactory for the price paid - The beds were clean and comfortable I did not realise and do not remember seeing in the advert that it was a shared bathroom.
This was only somewhere for us to store our belongings and get our head down for the night otherwise this may have bothered us more.
- Daniel (1/5): AVOID AVOID AVOID - False advertising at its finest!! - Absolutely nothing. It was awful. Firstly, whilst I was travelling - the host was regularly contacting me asking for when I will arrive, which I found a bit rude as I was commuting via train and I was aware that the check in time was 3pm so didn't know why he was contacting me at 2pm. Then, I was shocked to discover that the address advertised on the Booking.com listing was NOT in fact where the hotel was located, and I was given a completely different address and postcode to visit. Upon arrival, I was dismayed to see that there was no signposting to say where the hotel was (meaning I walked past it several times as the front of the hotel looked nothing like a hotel) - and there was also no reception. The host met me outside and led me to my room, providing me with the keys. He informed me that he had chosen to upgrade my room for no reason, which could be taken a positive point - but what followed was him trying to pressure me to give a 10 out of 10 review because he had chosen to upgrade my room, which was an immediate red flag to me. Upon getting to the room, I could see that the layout was more similar to an apartment that had been set up to look like separate rooms - rather than what you would typically expect of a hotel. After giving me a tour, the host informed me that I MUST provide a form a photo ID in order to stay at the property "for my own safety". As I had recently lost my wallet, I did not have copies of photo ID and told him as such, to which he said I was unable to stay and told me that "everyone has a form of ID", even going as far as to open his phone and show me photos of ID he had of previous guests of this accommodation. When I said I couldn't provide photo ID - he wanted a photo of my bank card. Despite telling me I couldn't stay, he then left me alone in the hotel room with the keys. Ultimately, I felt very unsafe - so I chose to spend further money booking alternate accommodation for the night.
- Owoseje (4/5): Disappointing -
- Andrejs (4/5): Passable place - Good location I was given wrong room without private bathroom and no TV. Shower worked poorly . Parking fee was asked £30
- Benita (1/5): Bad -
- Jennifer (4/5): Disappointing - Not a lot The property was not where it said on the booking and not the name given it was 3 limeharbour not excel the 02 Arena and when we got there reception man didnt know who we were we had to wait ages for the renter to show up after letting him know we would be there soon then had a bad attitude when partner was asking questions. The photos of the property was nothing like what was on site showing 2 nice double beds when in fact 1 was a pull out sofa bed and could not see the 02 from the building
- Jones (2/5): Very poor - Subject: Feedback on Recent Accommodation Experience
I would like to provide some feedback regarding my recent stay. Unfortunately, the condition of the kitchen and bathroom did not meet my expectations; both areas appeared unclean. Additionally, the room assigned to me did not match the description provided during the booking process. Instead of the accommodation featuring one bedroom and three sofa beds, I received a room with two double beds.
Furthermore, I found the shared kitchen and bathroom arrangement to be unsuitable, particularly as I was travelling with a child. Lastly, there was a noticeable odour of cannabis within the bedroom, which was concerning especially as it was a smoke free area. The guests next door had tele on loud all night.
- Julie (9/5): Superb - The comfort and the view.Very clean.
- Christine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dolan (9/5): A great way to start the new year - I liked a lot of things. As a large group we found the property the ideal place to stay for a relatively affordable price. Furthermore, it has a lovely local corner shop opposite the building and it’s close to a business district, with lots of places to eat and go out. The apartment also had great access to the city centre via the tube and I could not recommend it highly enough. The hoist was lovely too :). Nothing to add
- Dillon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Micael (1/5): Bad -
- Jan (5/5): I'm confused. - It was cheap and location was good as we were going to the O2 We were met at the station and walked to the property. Azmian was very friendly but I wasn't expecting to be texted on WhatsApp and told to ring him 10 mins before arriving and then meet at the station.
We had booked an apartment for 4 people, 1 bedroom, sofa bed in the sitting room. When we got there it was a 2 bedroom apartment but we were told that no one would be in that 2nd bedroom and it would be locked. Strangely the man then went and sat in the 2nd bedroom. He seemed pleasant enough and just reassured us that no one would be staying in the second bedroom and we would have the bathroom to ourselves. He said we were to only use the 1st bedroom and sofa bed in the sitting room.
Seemed a bit strange but he was a nice bloke. When we were getting ready to go out he then turned up in the hallway with his e-scooter.
Anyway, we went out to the O2 and came back around 11. The 2nd bedroom was locked and no sign of anyone else in the apartment.
When we were getting ready for bed at 11.30 someone was trying to get in to the front door. He has a single male guest who had booked bedroom 2!
Very confusing and I would have felt incredibly intimidated if I had been a solo traveller.
I am totally confused by this accommodation. It is not a private apartment. It is three separate rooms (lockable) and a shared bathroom within the apartment. It felt a bit uncomfortable and I felt we were lied to when we arrived.
- Muhib (1/5): Bad -
- Trevor (8/5): Very good -
- Onadele (3/5): Poor -
- Terry (1/5): Bad - Nothing Firstly the name is deceiving it has nothing to do with the excel 02 arena and shouldn’t be advertised as such. I was messaged on WhatsApp about arranging to meet the owner to gain accesss to the property which I thought was stange. I read the most recent review because I’d booked this in early October an there weren’t any review then but I found it was a flat with a shared bathroom which isn’t in the description an I was travelling with my 15 year old son an didn’t feel safe the idea of this so requested a refund from the owner which was denied so went through booking.com explaining the situation an they were no help either. Please don’t be scammed by mr Muhammad khan
- Abi (2/5): Not the best kept property - location was close to O2 where we wanted to be Room was in a poor state, not very clean. Room hadn't been cleaned properly before us turning up, things found under beds like old bottle tops and general bits of rubbish. Bed sheets were stained, kitchen was not clean. Patio door leading out to balcony did not shut properly, asked for it to be fixed but was told it wasn't possible. Gave us portable heater to keep us warm. Apartments had to share bathroom, not told this in description. 1 roll of toilet paper for 3 apartments, no refills available. Linked on Mamma Mia The Party website so assumed it would be fantastic. Had to be met by agent when we got to the DLR station, not a normal hotel. Apartment was part of a residential block.
- Luca (10/5): Exceptional - Very easy to get to, the landlord was very helpful, and very good and clear communication
/ instructions between me the landlord , the room was perfectly clean Nothing
- Justine (1/5): Shocking - Nothing I have already complained and tried to get a refund
- Alex (10/5): Exceptional - The property was absolutely perfect for us to stay based on location, cleanliness and staff behaviour. Nothing
- Mr.redacted (2/5): Wouldnt do again because of the cleanliness - There was pee stains on the bed i was sleeping in with hair all over it
