Guest Reviews
- Rosamonde (9/5): A great week’s skiing and a lovely apartment to stay in. - This is our sixth year skiing in La Tzoumaz and we love it! It’s a small, family-friend village with easy access to the slopes, and Savoleyres offers good skiing without big queues for lifts. The MP24 apartment was quite small but suited us well. There were three double bedrooms between 5 of us (2 adults and 3 kids aged 16, 13 and 9) and a good amount of storage space in large cupboards in two of the bedrooms. The beds were comfortable and there were two big balconies - one at the back and one at the front of the apartment which wrapped around the main living area showing off the fantastic view down the valley. There were two newly-fitted bathrooms, both with showers, and a new, modern kitchen. The apartment wasn’t much more than a 5 minute walk from the bottom of the Telecabine and the centre of La Tzoumaz. We managed to ski in and out ok but it did require some walking/climbing up an icy path to get out! Edwin was a fantastic host. He met us both when we arrived and left, and was available for any questions throughout our stay. It was frustrating that we couldn’t drive our car with its roof box on into the underground parking garage due to the restricted height, and it was a very tight turn to get the car in and out. We also had to use the underground garage to access the building from the road as the outside steps were very icy. Inside, the boot room and ski lockers were on different levels of the building, and neither were next to an outside door, which made going out skiing and coming back at the end of the day a bit of a pain.
