- Elisabeth (7/5): Nice apartment, modern and spacious. - Brand new apartment in a new passive house with a modern heating system. Parking was easy. Location was good although it was a bit of a walk to the gondola (it looked very close on the map but there was a steep hill; the hill didn't have snow when we were there - with snow it's probably easier as you could then ski down to the gondola station). The sauna was beautiful although we could only use it once: we were not in the main building and apparently the second building does not have the sauna included or only if the sauna is not busy. So make sure to check if you are in the main or the second building. We found it very expensive but didn't get all that much value for money (e.g. could not use the sauna on a daily basis, only once). We didn't like all the motion sensors in the apartment (kitchen, hallway) which went on and off with their own will, it seemed. The apartment was luxurious but in my opinion lots of empty wasted space: A second bedroom would have been better, instead two people had to sleep in the lounge so there was no separate lounge area left. With all that space, I would have declared this apartment as a 6-person apartment which would have made it more affordable. I also felt the host/owner/manager was rather "strict" - friendly but I felt watched and scrutinised a bit... (ensure not to get on her wrong side) Oh and it was way too warm for us in the bedrooms. We could not regulate the room temperature separately so we had to sleep with an open window at night to get the temperature down a bit. It's a passive house so they need very little energy to heat it up a lot, I guess.
