• Valentina (3/5): - Close to metro. We had a very bad experience, a scary one actually. At 3 in the morning there were people trying to access our door. When we asked they said they had the booking confirmed and even received the booking details and key code. That was strange as our check out was supposed to happen till 10:00 in the morning. The property was managed by a robot as no one will answer the phone and when trying to get in contact we received automated messages. The questions booking.com and the property managers should ask themselves are: how will they improve the door access process, emergency response and guest safety? I hope my review will help others be cautious..

• Camelia Narcisa (8/5): Bel soggiorno, Vienna stupenda - Ho soggiornato in questo appartamento a Vienna per 5 giorni e l’esperienza è stata nel complesso positiva. L’alloggio è accogliente, ben arredato e dotato di tutto il necessario per un soggiorno confortevole. La pulizia era impeccabile e gli spazi ben organizzati.Il letto era morbido, ho dormito benissimo. L’appartamento si trova in un quartiere multietnico, vivace e autentico, che permette di vivere un lato più reale della città, lontano dalle zone più turistiche. La posizione è molto comoda: la fermata della metro linea U1 (Reumannplatz) è vicina e consente di raggiungere facilmente il centro. Nei dintorni ci sono diversi negozi e supermercati. Per quanto riguarda i ristoranti, l’offerta è prevalentemente di cucina araba: può essere un aspetto interessante per chi ama questo tipo di cucina, ma un po’ limitante se si cerca maggiore varietà. Consiglio questo appartamento a chi cerca una sistemazione ben collegata e in un contesto urbano dinamico, tenendo presente le caratteristiche del quartiere. La macchina del caffè era quella da caffè americana, non l’abbiamo proprio usata.

• Zuzana (1/5): - Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this accommodation due to serious issues that affected our stay. We stayed at this apartment in Vienna, which has generally good reviews on Booking, so we felt confident with our choice. On the day of check-in, we received instructions with a code for the main entrance and the key box, along with a note that the host was available on WhatsApp between 9:00 and 12:00. Since check-in starts at 15:00, this was already somewhat inconvenient. When we arrived after 15:00, the main door code worked fine, and we were able to find our floor and the apartment. However, the key box code did not work at all. We tried contacting the host via WhatsApp and by phone using the number listed on the Camelotels page, but all calls went straight to voicemail. Communication via WhatsApp was very slow, with no possibility of resolving the issue quickly. While waiting, we met another couple in the building who had exactly the same problem. After speaking with them, we realized it was the same host. They had been trying to resolve the issue through Booking chat and mentioned they had encountered other guests earlier with similar difficulties. At that point, after waiting for quite a long time with no clear response, we started searching for reviews of Camelotels outside of Booking and found several concerning comments suggesting that Camelotels are shady and a scam. We were seriously considering leaving and finding alternative accommodation. Fortunately, the couple we met came back and told us they had finally received a working code via Booking chat. We then contacted the host through Booking as well, and within a few minutes, we received a new code that finally worked. Overall its seems like an managment problem which costs us over an hour of our time and unnecessary stress. Inside the apartment's bathroom, we found mold on the ceiling and inside the shower, and there were ants inside the bathroom. Probably due to poor ventilation in the bathroom.

Рядом метро и остановка автобуса. Магазины в пешей доступности. В номере большая кровать и диван. Кухонная техника, стиральная машина. Много места для хранения вещей. Хозяин/администратор всегда на связи. Все вопросы решаются быстро через сообщения или чат watsapp. Понятные и четкие инструкции по заселению. За доп. плату возможен поздний выезд. В кухонном шкафчике были кофе и фильтры для кофеварки. В ванной жидкое мыло и гель для душа. В целом все неплохо. Не понравилось, что только 1 полотенце на человека. В кухне губка для мытья посуды и средство ( таблетки для посудомойки не в счет ), больше никаких принадлежностей ( ни тряпок, ни бумажных полотенец, ни полотенец для рук, ни швабры). Нечем ни стол протереть при необходимости, ни пол подмести, ни руки вытереть. Wi-Fi постоянно вис, поэтому телевизор работал с перебоями. При заселении обнаружили в кофеварке остатки старого сваренного кофе. Нам не мешало, но постоянно слышен гул самолетов, идущих на посадку. Пролетают прямо над домом. Слышно даже при закрытых окнах.

• Murat (1/5): - It was close to metro station. rented the apartment through Booking for 3 people. According to the listing, one person was supposed to sleep on the sofa bed. However, no pillow, blanket, or bed linen was provided for the sofa bed, so one of us could not rest properly. In addition to this, the apartment was not clean overall. This was disappointing, especially considering that the photos on the listing made the apartment look brand new. In reality, the apartment was not new at all — the photos were simply taken very well and did not reflect the actual condition. I contacted the people responsible for the apartment to explain these issues. Unfortunately, no compensation or solution was offered. I only received a brief apology, which I do not find sufficient given the circumstances. I believe this situation does not match the standards promised in the listing, and I would like this issue to be reviewed and addressed appropriately.

• John (7/5): - The apartment was decorated in a lovely way and was warm. The facilities were as advertised. Easy to walk down the street to catch the metro. And restaurants downstairs and Aldi on the next street. We appreciated the lift to get upstairs to our room. The address we were sent via Booking.com (paste link) sent us to the opposite end of the city which was a hotel/office. Lucky we noticed before we got out of the uber, and our driver was very kind. So make sure you use the link sent in the email with the correct address to avoid a double uber bill. Unfortunately the bathroom is showing its age with damaged tiles and mould. The toilet had not been flushed and the floor was dusty, so not sure if it had been cleaned before our arrival. We also had to make up the bed for our child.

• Emilian (1/5): Absolutely not recommended! - The building was in a zone full of junkies, but I don’t have a problem with that, I have paid for the parking and when I arrived the parking was full and nowhere to park. Inside the apartment there was a terrible smell of cigarettes coming from the bathroom and the apartment was quite dirty. Because of the smoke inside the apartment we couldn’t stay there and we left and slept in the car because we couldn’t find a different place to stay at the time we needed ( it was around midnight) . I don’t recommend at all this location if you’re not a smoker.

Very well located with connection to the center and everything through train, one of the main train lines. Neighbourhood looked very rough. We didn't end up having any problem but we read online some people got mugged there and there were definitely a lot of people with sketchy looks.

• giuseppe (10/5): - Il palazzo in cui si trova la struttura è a dir poco fatiscente, ma poi si rimane piacevolmente sorpresi dall'appartamento molto confortevole e comodo, in posizione tranquilla a due passi dalla metro. Ci siamo trovati benissimo, l'appartamento è ben curato e tenuto bene, con tutto quello che serve per soggiornare in tutta comodità. Non proprio in centro, ma con la stazione della metropolitana a poche centinaia di metri si arriva in un attimo.

• Natália (9/5): Super!… - Dobrá lokalita- blízko od stanice metra, nablízku veľa obchodov, gastro podnikov, tržnica. Okna apartmánu vychádzajú do dvora, aj ked ulica je rušna, ale je tam ticho a neruší váš odpočinok, a je tam aj balkón. Apartmán vybavený všetkým, čo potrebujete. Pohodlná posteľ z čistým pradlom, uteráky a hygienické potreby v kúpeľni. Kuchyňa má všetko- počnúc koreničkami, riadom až do všetkých kuchynských spotrebičov. Nabudúce keď prídem do Viedne, chcela by som byt ubytovaná v tomto apartmáne.. 🙂👍

• Faith (8/5): Good budget stay, but we didn’t feel safe - It was clean and there were a lot of amenities. The location itself wasn’t too bad. There was broken glass in the building and the building was very dirty, but inside the apartment was clean inside. When we told our address to a Vienna local, she said she wouldn’t walk around at night. And we saw a lot of police detaining men and searching for drugs we think. We also saw a drunk smashing bottles and a lot of guys just sitting next to the train station and leering at us girls. We were a group of 4 girls and when we came home at night we literally almost ran to the apartment each night as we were a bit scared.

• igorbruzl (10/5): Ubytování, které splnilo naše představy - Chtěli jsme být blízko stadionu fotbalové Austrie a z toho pohledu jsme byli spokojeni. Apartmán není velký, ale pro partu přátel dostačující. Zajímavé bylo z pozorovat z okna přistávající letadla. Za mě adekvátní cena/kvalita. Super parkování přímo v garážích pod apartmánem. Výhled z okna je do dvora. Kdo by se chtěl kochat, tak si asi neužije, ale nám to nevadilo.

• Simon (5/5): Für eine Nacht war es noch in Ordnung aber ich komme nicht wieder - Wirklich gefallen hat uns nichts. Das einzige war die unkomplizierte Abwicklung ohne Rezeption. Die Wohnung ist über ÖPNV gut zu erreichen allerdings in einem sehr unschönen Viertel von Wien. Die Ausstattung ist teilweise neu und teilweise sehr alt. Die Qualität der Möbel ist auf einem sehr niedrigen Niveau. Die Tagesdecke auf dem Bett im Schlafzimmer war sehr dreckig und ekelig. Dann lieber keine Tagesdecke. Im Bad hat es gestunken und die Sauberkeit lies zu wünschen übrig. Der Platz der Toilette neben der Waschmaschine war sehr beengt und auch die Dusche ist sehr alt und klein.

A shame for Austria 😢 Irritating description, its written 2br but its only 1br, parking 9.90€ via WhatsApp 15 € in PayPal 12 € No person only whatsapp as they are outside the country operating. Very hot, no Ac. When we arrive it smells so bad like Chlor. Maybe a roomspray after cleaning would be nice. All automated with keybox a lot codes and if you are offline you cant access any information as they only send links per whatsapp.

• Alexander (4/5): Favoritenstraße 127 ist viel zu dezentral. - Sauber und alles soweit ok. Die schlechte Lage! Aus Booking.com entnahm ich die Info, dass die Wohnung in der Favoritenstraße 9 sein sollte: also direkt am Zentrum. Wir haben die gesamte Planung daraufhin abgestimmt, besonders Konzertbesuch in der Karlskirche. Die wider Erwarten weite Entfernung (dieselbe Straße 127 - sehr schwer zu finden, da extrem komplexer Straßenverlauf!) konnten wir nur mit Taxifahrten überbrücken! Zum Konzerttermin kurz nach der Ankunft wurde das sehr knapp. Nach dieser Erfahrung empfehle ich Besuche in einer noch unbekannten Stadt nur noch im Hotel mit 24h Rezeption, Frühstück und einer perfekten personellen Betreuung.

• Denis (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was perfect. Cozy and clean apartment with everything you might need. For a small extra fee, you can park your car in the building's garage. Convenient location, not far from the city center. There is a metro station nearby, but you can also walk to the center, for example, through the Belvedere Palace.

Top location next to the a underground parking, very near to the Uban, in front you have Billa if you wabt to hop. Kids playground next to the Block. Definitely coming againt. • Ian (10/5): Exceptional - The ease of check-in was superb. Instructions were clear and concise. Everything was provided for to enjoy a short stay. Nice balcony with a view over a quiet courtyard. Considering this is in the heart of a busy district, it was surprisingly quiet and peaceful. Perfect for enjoying a cup of tea in the sunshine. Nice size kitchen, living room, and bedroom. Also, a washing machine was provided for those staying for longer periods.. The shower has a limited amount of space to move around in, but it was adequate for my needs.

• Dimitrios (8/5): A very good choice for a Vienna stay - A very comfortable stay in a very convenient location near metro station. The space is very clean, the hosts and the management company are very helpful with guiding and questions. Definitely a good space for a short stay in Vienna for a family or a group! For an apartment destined to host people and in that specific price range, face towels is something that should be standard.
