Guest Reviews
- Celso Paiva (10/5): - Very cosy and friendly place to stay in Ancud. You can easily walk from the hotel around the city. Roberto was very diligent in making sure I was comfortable and made the stay super easy. I had dinner one night which was an absolutely acceptable home cooked meal and breakie was fresh made toast, eggs and avocado. Perfect. I liked it all.
- Ilvija (8/5): Cozy hotel right with a waterfront view - Lovely small house hotel short walk from the main town square and meters away from the main promenade. Fantastic views from the room and nice breakfast with a view. The owner was very attentive. Could have used more space to hang or put our stuff - shelfs or hooks.
- Jonny Mercer (8/5): - The owner is a great guy and his hostel is cool he warned us when we arrived that the hot water in our room was intermittent. when in fact, what he meant was the hot water was not working at all. he suggested we come downstairs to use the communal shower. but we paid for an en suite and he knew the water was off???
the only place we got chowed by mosquitos, obviously they were hiding in our room. I wish he'd warned us.
his breakfast was bang average
- Laura (7/5): Comfy enough for one or two nights. - Clean, with comfortable and cozy bed. Friendly host who spoke English. Hot shower if didn't use too much water. Breakfast was ham and cheese sandwiches with fruit and yoghurt. Hot water flask with coffee. Had lovely view of the sea front and was pretty once inside. Good location for exploring and easy walk into town. No hot water to the sink and shower hot water ran out after only short use. Would have been better with somewhere to put clothes and hang towels. Room was warm when used heater but hotel was quite chilly. Entrance through to front of hotel was a bit off putting but the hotel was very pleasant once inside.

- Lucia (10/5): - Ambiente, cordialidad, amabilidad. Grato ambiente, limpieza.
- Betty (8/5): Very good - The owner is very nice and friendly. I have to catch my morning bus, and the owner is kind enough to prepare it earlier: warm bread with ham and cheese, banana, egg, and hot tea! The house is beautifully decorated. located wise is great. the room would be much more comfortable with a heater.
- Kar (10/5): Exceptional -
- Martina (7/5): Good -
- Rodrigo (8/5): Very good -
- Sabine (9/5): Lovely stay in Ancud - Great location with a nice view and Roberto is very friendly and helpful
- Hunter (10/5): A special place in Chiloé - Roberto and his staff were real sweethearts. I arrived with an upset stomach (first trip to South America and not part of the lucky 50% to be spared traveler's diarrhea), and they took great care of me. I fell in love with Roberto's tea room, the view of the bay and his story. The food was also super tasty, tan rico! I planned to stay there two nights but ended up staying a week. My favorite place in Ancud!
- Vicky (9/5): Lovely for a night stay - Lovely welcome and cosy clean good value. We enjoyed a home made meal of pastel de choclo with the sun setting over the bay
- Gerard (10/5): Exceptional -
- Romy (9/5): Great stay, special vibe, reccomended! - Roberto and the parents have amazing vibe! Great hospitality ❤️ Great breakfast and great tea. Shared space very unique with great view
- Mikeeeee (8/5): Very good - Super cozy with a great view. Very clean! Helpful and friendly staff. A little far from the city area, your head is about 3 inches from ceiling on top bunk
- Peter (7/5): Good - The location is amazing overlooking the bay. The owner is also nice and helpful. Its got a very cosy feel to it. There is no kitchen so I wouldn't really call it a hostel. I found the breakfast a bit small, especially considering the lack of kitchen.
