- Angela (7/5): - Good house, kitchen well stocked, fully fenced yard for dog is great. Some minor functional problems. Split system could not operate even though remote buttons are straight forward. Noticed that the flap isn’t shut flush with the system. No clothes pegs to hang up washing. We got buy but just giving feedback. The traffic is quite loud. Not sure if your windows are thin? Being in the lounge watching tv, had to turn volume up a few levels to hear over the traffic.

Very clean, spacious and convenient. Hosts were fantastic with their communication, letting us know we could check in early if we wanted too and had the heating on for a lovely warm welcome when we arrived. - Beryl (5/5): Passable - We liked that it was clean and neat on the inside. The location was on the main road into Ocean Grove, no fault on the owners there. There were a few things that we did not like. We are not hard to please, but there were a lot of cobwebs around the outside of the house and on the gate where you had to open it to get into the back yard. We were asked to put the bins out, but the bin handles were backed up to the fence and were covered in cobwebs. This was not a good look from the outside and in our opinion needs to be addressed. The mattresses weren't very comfortable on the queen size beds and probably need to be updated. Things that should've been checked before we arrived is either a failure on the owner or the maintenance person or persons. The two light globes outside of the sliding door to the backyard were both blown and could not be used. The fan and the light globe over the stove both didn't work. The tap in the kitchen sink was leaking water every time we put it on and attracted ants from the outside. One of the bedside lamps in the back bedroom with the queen bed was blown. There were daddy longlegs in the shower, and it was very difficult to open the internal front door, so we had to go in and out through the back sliding door during our stay. We were given an emergency phone number which I tried to call when we had difficulty getting in the front door, but the person didn't answer our call. First impressions, general cleanliness and full functionality of all listed above are what stay in your mind. If all these things worked, were easier to use and everything was clean. We would've left a fantastic review.
- Melody (8/5): Comfortable - No food supplied (as expected). House layout was very good, and the decor was very appropriate. I liked the provision of entertainment options for children. Bathroom door couldn’t be closed. Needed to use full flush of toilet each time (which is not good) otherwise it continued to run afterwards. Remotes for the fans in the bedrooms we used were missing. This was significant on days of 37 and 40 degrees. Traffic noise from the road was intrusive but maybe I’m super sensitive to noise.
