Disgruntled (1/5): Be aware - Great location. Hosts were quick to respond. The house had a horrible smell which got all over our clothes and rental car it's been a week and we still can't get rid of it. (Host refused to acknowledge the problem, guests staying in STAR said they had the same smell). The door to get into the property is difficult to open. The parking spot was in the garden where you relax and you can get blocked in by the other guests which can throw off your itinerary. The cameras on the property seem to be facing the hot tub and your bedroom with the nice view is facing the main garden so other guests can potentially see in your room or you can sacrifice the view and close the curtains. The hot tub is remotely operated and you have no control. Hot tub also has to be booked 3 hours in advance. Good luck
Miłosz (10/5): Clean and fresh moon house - Perfect stay for one/two people. Everything new, clean, nice place to relax in front of the house. Looks wonderfull in a day time, but shines at night. Toilet smells good. Nice location near one familly houses, and you feel safe. It was at rondo. Kitchen inclueded, so you can make a sandwich or do some simple cooking over there as well, which is rare. There is a near by restaurant, and you have also tourist information even closer to you. It was easy pick up from this area for raffting adventures. Maybe key pickup could be a bit better, but overall contact with the owner by phone was very good, and she has good quality English, and is very responsive by email. I used phone at near by restaurant.
Catherine (10/5): Delightful hosts in a great location - Randy & Roxy are great hosts. From the deck I saw toucans and many other birds also a lovely view of the volcano (weather permitting) the little house is well equipped and we had a comfortable stay. Didn’t meet Roxy, but she was delightful on messenger and acted quickly on everything. Randy was onsite more and a total love, he took us around the back of the property to view a mother and baby sloth, amazing. Also rushed out with an umbrella when we arrived as it was raining. Property close to town and all the attractions, but is very quiet. Nothing to note really, maybe could’ve had smaller pans to maximise the hob use.
