- Nicole (10/5): Relaxing, comfortable and amazing - Location was excellent, amazing bed , excellent shower and heating Nothing
- Niharika (10/5): This is a perfect stay for a couple within budget. Nice and cozy place. - The property is quite nice. Nil
- Richard (10/5): - Great location. Had everything we needed.
- Sinclair (10/5): - The hosts were amazing and went above and beyond. We bought our puppy with us and they even gave us a basket of things to use for the dog. We had treats and all the creature comforts. We had an unfortunate change of plans with a family emergency and the hosts were supportive and went out of their way to make sure we were all OK, including my daughter and grandchildren who weren't even staying. They were kind, and decent and went the extra mile. If I could give them 100 stars I would. We so appreciated their hospitality, generosity and support during our stay.
- Richard (10/5): - Everything we needed. Great, quiet location.
Close to public transport.
Laundry facilities, lovely bed and wonderful hosts.
- Heather (10/5): Fantastic place to stay - I found the property warm and inviting
Hosts so very friendly Loved it all
- Dawn (9/5): Cosy, clean, great location! - Electric blanket. Washing machine. Heating. Fabulous shower! Friendly owners. Smart TV.

- Tracey (9/5): Self catering apartment - roomy, clean and well equipped. - Everything we needed for self catering accommodation was there. Perhaps a hotplate to cook veges in a pot.

- jamie (9/5): Cute comfy cottage in Launceston - The owners were very helpful. We asked for extra kitchen items as we were staying six nights and were cooking for ourselves. They were happy to oblige. The cottage was very clean, well appointed, comfortable and warm for our mid winter stay. Although we didn't use it, a washing machine is also available.
Location in Invermay is about a three minute car ride from CBD.
Friendly family dog. We would be happy to stay at Sylvester's cottage again when in Launceston. Nothing. Everything was fine.

- J (9/5): Perfect Lonnie visit with or without pets - Fantastic friendly and helpful hosts. Facilities included great bathroom and large bedroom with comfy bed and sofa. Simple and small but efficient kitchen. Great location to access city of Launceston If travelling with pets there's a great dog park down the road and property has enclosed front yard with lovely verandah to use.
- Pedro (10/5): Exceptional - The good vibes in the house
- Claire (8/5): Great place to stay and explore the locality - Very cosy, had everything we needed for for a great stay Nothing
- Anna (9/5): Superb - Warm and cozy
- Rose (8/5): No complaints whatsoever. Had a lovely, relaxing stay, as did Georgia our dog. - Very quiet location and very close to huge dog walking area for our, and our dog's, long morning walk. Very cosy and comfortable with everything necessary for a short stay. Lovely and, very accommodating hosts. All was fine but, probably only for a short stay because of size.
- Fiona (9/5): Great to bring pets, all we needed. - Quirky, great to have pets with us. Porch and yard made the stay lovely. Roomy shower, comfy bed.
- Jeff (9/5): Superb -
- Cally (10/5): I thoroughly enjoyed my brief stay, Jules and Brooke delightful hosts, accommodation very good - I found acquiring the key a bit difficult, but Jules helped me
- Louise (8/5): Overall, terrific. - Very charming. Warm and comfortable and well-appointed. The nude print on the wall. Absolutely hideous. Remove it and the place will be perfect.
The key was difficult to remove from the box.
- Tom (7/5): nice surroundings and position - basically unit was nice but a few things missing NO COOK TOP not everyone knows have to use airfrier or microwave easy fixed by having a portable cook top you could just put on the bench when needed no door on bathroom only a curtain lockbox not attached to wall
- Jan (9/5): Superb - Lovely comfy Accomm with very thoughtful touches. Separate entrance allowed privacy within family home.
- Susan (9/5): Great location, clean, cute apartment, and we felt our dogs were genuinely welcome. - Location was excellent, and the apartment was prettier than the photos make it look. Quiet, charming suburb, near the CBD, right by a large, peaceful park. Lovely for walking the dogs. I thought such a pet-friendly flat might be average as far as cleanliness but Sylvester's was spotless, even though there was none of the 'don't let your pet touch anything' type warnings you sometimes get. Pet rugs, towel and bowl thoughtfully provided! Thanks for a really problem-free, pleasant stay with our two dogs. I'd rather a sliding door than a curtain at the bathroom door, but the door to the main room could be closed so not a big deal.
- Karen (10/5): Highly recommended near Launceston - The beautiful accommodation is on a quiet street in walking distance of several amenities. The provision of an airfryer and washer/dryer were appreciated. My husband enjoyed the Kit Kats.
- Brian (9/5): Good location for access to the city and other places around Invermay and Mowbray. - Good location close to the city and also close to other off city locations, cafes, restaurants.

- Susan (10/5): Exceptional - A lovely home away from home. Gorgeously styled and a lovely garden setting
- Eunice (9/5): Pleasant stay. Launceston is a lovely city with gorge close by and great galleries. - Our own entrance. Comfy studio. Free bus to town, gorge and river from Inveresk carpark which was reasonably close. Friendly host Studio rather than separate bedroom.
- Kathleen (8/5): It was lovely . Thank you. -
- Hannah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Elloise (9/5): Perfect place to stay before me and my dog flew out from Launceston airport - Loved the cosy feeling when you walk in.
Lovely and clean.
Really appreciate that it was pet friendly The only thing I could suggest is perhaps a bigger dog food bowl for larger breeds. I gave my dog her food in installments as the bowl was small.
- Stacey (10/5): Exceptional - Sylvester’s was a wonderful cottage. Cozy & comfortable. I just wish I could have stayed longer. Such a warm and peaceful place. And lots of little yummy treats.
I will definitely be staying there again. Thank you. ☺️

- Francine (7/5): Everything we required - Quiet location, easy parking on the street.
Small, comfortable accommodation that had everything we needed. The apartment provided everything we needed, a little more room in living space would have been ideal.

- Corina (8/5): Very good - I liked we could have our dog stay with us, not many places allow to have a dog, and the host were very friendly and helpful
- Vanessa (10/5): A wonderful overnight stay. I would definitely stay here again when I go to Launceston. - The bed was very comfy and everything was clean and neat. It felt homey and not at all sterile. The gardens, fenced yard and verandah were so good to have, especially since I was traveling with my little dog. The property exceeded my expectations in every aspect and the price was much cheaper than all the other places. I had to go to LGH so it was in a very handy location with only a 4 minute drive to the hospital.
- Linda (7/5): Perfect Pit Stop - Cute partially refurbished verandah apartment great for a one night stay.
- Rira (10/5): Happy to come back. ! Thank you - Warm, cozy ,dog friendly, 5min drive from CBD Launceston.
- Robina (10/5): Quiet, relaxing, peaceful stay. - The location is great, central enough to get to all areas quickly but also quiet and like a second home. I liked the fact that we could prepare our own meals and enjoy a peaceful atmosphere. Having been once before we found all the facilities offered just to our liking. Nothing to dislike.
- Robina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ben (9/5): Superb -
- Tracie (9/5): Beautiful apartment, nice quiet area. I will be back. - Loved everything about my stay. Lovely little apartment, had everything I needed even down to the snack chocolate in the fridge. Verandah at the front was a great outside space to relax with a cup of tea. Large shower with really nice hand soap, body wash, shampoo & conditioner Nothing, had everything I needed.
- Scout (10/5): An apartment to enjoy. - This is my top pick for accommodation so far this year. I stayed at Sylvester's in March, and I was delighted by the facilities and all the touches that were included, and the owners were welcoming. The owners had a list of local eateries and a small snack basket in the kitchen. I was invited to pick apples from the tree in the front yard and ripe tomatoes, and they were delicious; such a treat. There was fresh milk in the fridge and fresh flowers in the bathroom. The bath towels were plush, and the bed was comfortable. My stay was too short - I will consider staying longer next time.
- Kellee (9/5): Superb -
- Crystal (8/5): Very good -
- Dwannylyn (8/5): We loved our stay at Sylvester’s on Lamont and it was a real treat to be able to have our groodle stay with us - Very comfortable accommodation that was close to a lovely park, walking distance to the CBD, and it was dog-friendly! The bathroom didn’t have a door (but you could still gain privacy by closing the doors to the adjoining rooms)
- Ana (9/5): Superb - All the unit is super well decorated and comfortable. Super lovely details as fresh flowers in the bathroom. Super clean.
The bed was really awesome as all as the newly renovated bathroom. Super lovely and cosy balcony to enjoy. No stove to cook, just microwave and airfrier.
- Margaret (8/5): Very enjoyable stopover to break up our stopover between the east coast and the west coast. - The bathroom
The interesting artwork
The garden
Comfy home feel
Close to city centre without the noise and busy ness
Jules and Brooke were responsive to my queries. The family was friendly without being intrusive. It did not feel like we were living in their home The kitchen was not really suitable for self catering or cooking from scratch. We reheated leftovers otherwise would have had to dine out or takeaway
- Chrissy (10/5): Cosy and full of charm! - It is the perfect home away from home! Lovely plants, flowers and trees, and only a few minutes from the city. Excellent location!
- Anne (10/5): Book it in! - Great little set up - small kitchenette with small bench dining area, bathroom and bedroom with a small couch - like a small granny flat. Kitchen had a large fridge, microwave, sandwich maker, air fryer and all the other essentials if you wanted to make a snack Plunger coffee and fresh milk were in the fridge and chocolates! Kitchen was well kitted out with all that you need for a short stay. Also a fabulous apple and lemon tree on the property which host said help yourself. Very quiet street and plenty of parking on the street. You could walk to town but better to have a car as only 5 minute drive. Would recommend.
