• Dominique (10/5): loved it - Great venue close to facilities, very much like the family shack we holidayed in 2 doors up nearly 30 years ago. Clean and well laid out for a large group of people. Loved the games cupboard. Spacious garage to cater for a large group. We had to jiggle a bit to get the cars in due to the doors that swing in. A roller door would provide more space and better access. Aircon a bonus in the main area, doesn't quite make it to thew main bedroom though. There was anything major. As a large group we needed more toilet paper as we ran out and perhaps extra tea-towels and dish washer tablets. We purchased these to get through, it did not spoil anything, but thought it might be worth letting you know.
• Deborah (7/5): Excellent location, relaxed atmosphere made for a nice break away with our dog - Location, spacious house and lovely front patio. Slight concern for fencing for a small dog -there was a gap that our dog could have wriggled through if she wanted. It meant that someone had to be with her every time she went into the yard. It would have been good to have air conditioning in the bedrooms.

• Kirsty (10/5): Great set up with plenty of space and bedding configurations, with the perfect beach location. - Great location and plenty of comfort for a family. The bedding configuration worked perfectly for our group of 8, and there were plenty of breakout spaces to relax and enjoy each others' company. The location is perfect for grabbing a tasty coffee or treat from across the road and taking a walk on the beach. N/A

• Cathy (8/5): Hassle free, great location, great house! - Great house for families and like us, a few couples enjoying a weekend away together! Plenty of space for the eight of us. Excellent location - easy stroll to cafes for breaky, fish and Chips and Moffat Beach Brewery. Hassle free arrival and key collection.

Definitely recommend. - The location is excellent and the home was fantastic for 6 adults (all family members) and larger than we thought. The 2 large living areas were great, as was the front deck. The house was very clean, bright and airy. Local cafes really handy and short stroll to the magnificent beach. Friendly and helpful host. Kitchen had everything you need and plenty of cutlery, cups, glasses and plates (definitely more than most). Great to have 3 off street parking spots. Because it is an older house, the water pressure is quite low. The host did specifically let us know this prior to our arrival. Definitely can only have 1 shower going at a time. When having a shower, any water use in the house will make the shower run very low. Honestly not a big deal for us, but good to be aware of. The air con in the lounge works very well but only fans in the bedrooms. It was quite cool when we stayed, so fans were enough. Something to consider if you plan on a stay in the summer months.

• Paula (8/5): We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely book again - Location was awesome. Close to everything. Better water pressure in the showers Host had informed us of using 1 shower at a time so we thank her for that.
• Catherine (8/5): We had an excellent stay.. - The location was excellent. However the noice from the street is significant. The futon bed was very uncomfortable. The water pressure is very weak so we had to be careful who was showering when.
• Ezra (8/5): Great location - Location, comfortable rooms Be aware the plumbing is sensitive. Although there are too bathrooms, can't use both showers at the same time.
• Susie (10/5): Great beach house close to a beautiful beach & great cafe's. - Fantastic location—just a short stroll to the beach and great cafés! The house was clean, comfortable, and had plenty of space for our two small families. We especially loved that it was dog-friendly, with a fenced garden and easy access to a fantastic dog beach. Communication from the host was excellent, making our stay even more enjoyable. We’d love to return! Nothing. Everything was great, the house was just as the listing stated

• Junior (9/5): Beach house for families. - the house was spacious - perfect for families! such a great location with shops, cafes, bars, restaurants, playground & the beach all within walking distance. the only thing we could fault was that there were ants throughout the house, however we understand this cant always be helped.

• Ying-yu (9/5): Perfect location, had everything we needed for the perfect getaway. - Can’t beat the location! Right across from quality eateries (great cafe & bars), huge playground and the beach. The place is beautifully styled, spacious, clean and well-equipped. The huge playroom with books and toys was such a bonus, great for our kids. The water pressure was quite weak and you can only have one person using hot water.
• Emily (9/5): Very relaxing and enjoyable, and we will definitely go back there! - Airy, spacious, comfortable for two small families. It was just what we needed for three nights nearby. The beach and our golden retriever loved being near the dog beach! We felt very comfortable with her being there, with the fully fenced yard whilst on a moderately busy road, it gets nice and quiet at night and we enjoyed being steps away from the cafes and the beach.

• George (10/5): Exceptional - Location was wonderful, a short walk to the beach. There is the local brewery and some nearby restaurants that all offer something of their own. There is also few clothing stores to peruse are nearby.
• Mellisa (8/5): Great times were had and we are planning on staying again! - The property was clean, location was great and the communication with the property manager was professional and helpful. The only thing I could say was there wasn’t any air conditioning in the bedrooms down the far end of the house.
• Milgate (9/5): Loved being able to go on a relaxing family beach holiday with our dogs. - The house was perfectly set up to accommodate our family (including two small dogs). It was supremely comfortable and felt just like going to stay at a friend's house. Ella was easy to communicate with and the information she gave was concise and helpful. Super convenient, with cafes, restaurants and the ubiquitous fish and chip shop right over the road with the beautiful Moffat Beach just beyond. Parking was easy and lots of personal touches like board games and toys that showed the effort involved in creating a great experience. The yard was secure as well which was so helpful with our dogs. As mentioned in another review, Moffat Beach isn't patrolled which adds a level of risk for families. That's not connected to the house though. Whilst there are fans in almost every room, there is only the one air conditioner in the kitchen/living/dining area. This meant the bedrooms stayed quite warm on hot summer days. The downside of convenience is noise, so pick your battles.
• Michele (9/5): A great family beach house with a bonus of being pet friendly - Location is great. Near cafes and the beach. This is nothing to do with the property but Moffatt Beach doesn’t have a surf patrol. To swim safely you need to go to another beach.
• Matthew (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing beach house! Only a stone throw from the beach. Definitely will be back for another holiday.
• Greg (7/5): Great spot for a stay, just don’t stay in the front bedroom or expect a nice shower. - Great location, local shops were the best, only a brief walk to them. Front bedroom was noisy due to rubbish trucks, buses, delivery trucks early in the morning. Other bedrooms didn’t hear all that noise. Also, while I appreciate the plumbing is old, it needs renewing as showers are very poor pressure and disappointing. Also, lounges are not very comfortable and the remote for the front lounge TV has dodgy buttons.. I wasted a lot of time trying to get it to work which I finally did get it work.
