- Kylie (2/5): Some work needed to manage this property, great location. - The location is all I can say we really liked about this property The service provided by the agent. We had no hot water on our first night, it took over an hour to receive a response on an emergency line. The issue was not resolved that evening. The next morning after waking and being extremely frustrated we tried ourselves again to resolve the issue. No luck. I phoned the emergency number, again no immediate response. We ended up having to troubleshoot it ourselves after we also discovered the stove top was not operating. The issue was the gas mains had been turned off. Something I would think an agent would check prior to a guest arrival. The house was like an ice box on arrival also, so no warm welcome at all. Given the agent literally operates one block from this property it is extremely disappointing there was not more of an inviting first impression. It’s also extremely disappointing for the owner paying for this service. The only items provided in the house were approx 5 green tea bags of random brands. There’s a pod coffee machine, however this is not mentioned and no coffee pods provided. For the price that is being charged this has to be one of the most disappointing experiences when traveling. The en-suite shower is also held up with a chunk of wood - the wood has clearly been in place for some time as it’s rotten and wet. Fix the shower head asap. There were also ants climbing the walls which we had to spray, under the toaster there was also a layer of crumbs. The fact that there was no urgency to resolve a problem which resulted in no evening showers for kids and I have not had any contact from the agent after having to resolving this issue myself, it is extremely disappointing and frustrating given the asking price per night for this house. They are also way behind in providing the basics, no smart tv or even ability to wind down of an evening, watching football etc, update the TVs so at least guests can airplay what they want to watch if they so chose to.

Smoke alarm going beep, but was promptly fixed.
1 bedroom did not have proper curtains or blinds so the room wasn’t dark for sleeping.
