• Soraya (10/5): Muy bueno - La ubicación es excelente, la cama extra grande y cómoda. Un pequeño bloque que solo tiene apartamentos con lo cual, no hay ruido de gente dentro. Fácil de recoger las llaves con código. Tienen aceite, café, infusiones y agua en la nevera al llegar. Es un apartamento sencillo pero cómodo con todo lo necesario y en el barrio más bonito de Atenas. Lo recomiendo. Solo para mejorar.... en la cocina, que pongan un tostador y en el baño, un sujeta toallas para la toalla pequeño de lavabo.

I understand it is a plumbing issue in an old town but having to throw toilet paper into a bin proves to be quite a malodorous experience.

A second key would be great too. one of the couches (the one closest to the door) was quite uncomfortable. Wifi did not extend to the bedrooms. small coffee cups are needed

• Kimberly (8/5): A Great Location - Apartment is in a quiet, safe location of the Plaka with a small square for sitting and a shop for snacks and drinks. There are dozens of eateries within the winding streets just steps away. You are close to the Acropolis and about a 20-30 min walk to the National ArchElogical Museum. Acropolis and Monstraki metro stations are close. .lots of shopping. You are at the base of the Acropolis by the Greek flag. Amazing views. Elevator is availabld.. The beds were really firm.

• Hendriehet (9/5): Experience Greek culture in the heart of Plaka - All you need where you’d expect it to be and in excellent working order. Washing machine great value to us as I’ve been travelling through Italy for 2 weeks and needed to do laundry load before going to Greece. Especially appreciated the aircon in all 4 rooms due to extreme heat we experienced (mid July). Best thing about this property is close proximity to tourist attractions and pick up point for 4 different touring (sightseeing) buses. Nothing. We will stay here again.

This apartment is very centrally located and was comfortable for our family to base ourselves for sightseeing, shopping and dining. It’s quiet despite being in the thick of things and is well equipped with plenty of things like hand soap, toilet paper and even body wash and shampoo which you don’t always get! The air conditioning struggled so the apartment was quite warm

Just a few steps away from the busyness, but far away enough for some tranquility, situated nicely next to a quietly charming square just outside the front door. Early flight arrival, was allowed to check-in earlier with my children making the stay that much better!

Right in the middle of beautiful Plaka, with the main shopping street a few steps away, close to the Acropolis and many restaurants. It was very quiet, spotless, lovely and spacious. We experienced a power cut during our stay and had to contact the host, who was lovely, friendly, and helpful. I would definitely recommend this as a perfect place to stay in Athens

You could walk to all the main sites, there’s a a nice coffee shop right downstairs where you can get omelettes, pastries, sandwiches and nice smoothies. The restaurant and shopping streets start literally a stones throw away, but still the apartment is very quiet.

The location, amenities including the little extra touches like laundry soap & coffee & sugar helped make our stay on our long trip in Europe so much easier. Add to that the comfortable, sparkling clean beds & towels & id say you cannot go wrong when picking this apartment. As others have noted its central Plaka location on a quiet street is just perfect for exploring Athens & coming back to a quiet, restful & cooled off comfy place. Did I mention the A/C? It’s just wonderfully cool! There is nothing not to like about Luisa. It is perfect!

• Pinaki (10/5): An absolute gem in the middle of Plaka - What a charming location ! I loved the property for its sheer location in the middle of Plaka and comfortably walkable to the sights of Athens and the metro. The entry was through codes, so checkin and checkout was a breeze. The apartment, in the 1st floor with a lift, itself was fabulous. 2 bedrooms with large and comfortable beds and a lot of storage for clothes. Handy iron and iron board. Both rooms had windows so you never feel claustrophobic inside. The living room was large with 3 sofas, a dining table and a large screen TV. It was a bliss to come back after a long day and sit on the sofa enjoying some tea or coffee and a snack. The fact that there were windows on both sides of the room made it airy and well-lighted thus adding to the vibe. The kitchen attached to the living room had all the basic amenities like tea bags, coffee, sugar, salt and oil. I really appreciated this and used up the tea bags which were of very good quality. The bathroom was large as well, with all amenities including a washing machine. Lots of good restaurants and a convenience store nearby for grocery shopping. The metro was a 5 min walk. The airport metro was from Syntagma, which was a station away or a 10-12 min walk. There is a nice coffee shop in a small square just outside the building with snack options that’s open till 4 or 6 am. In summary, the apartment had everything needed for a comfortable stay for 4/5 people to see Athens. Everything was perfect

• Christine (10/5): An excellent place to stay to be near all of the interesting and historical sights of Athens. - The location of Luisa apartment is exceptional. It is situated in a quiet, peaceful lane, but surprisingly is only a few metres walk away from the bustling narrow vibrant streets of Plaka with it's many shops and restaurants. The apartment is clean, well equipped and has everything one could want. There are two equal size bedrooms with large comfortable beds, extra pillows and quilts and even heating in the cold months. This was our second stay in Luisa and we would have no hesitation in choosing it again. Nothing to dislike

• Mallian (10/5): Hidden jem In Plaka neighborhood. - The location is perfect for families, right in the center of the Plaka neighborhood, in a quiet alley. The listing appeared over and over in our search, but we kept ignoring it because of the photos. Yes, it doesn't have the most modern interior, but once you look past that, it's a perfect apartment and feels very local. The floor is polished seamless terrazzo, which is actually really cool (and very clean). Upon arrival, the apartment was spotless, and you can tell there’s attention to small details—cold water in the fridge, coffee pods for the machine, lights inside the cabinets, great beds and linens, and more! The host allowed us to have an early check-in and late check-out. This apartment is truly a hidden gem. 10/10. Could'nt find coffee capsules for this particular machine (Nespresso Vertuo).

It is in the heart of Plaka, but is in an alley that is quiet, so you can see all the people or stay by yourself! The washer and drying rack were extremely helpful since we packed light. Nothing! It was perfect!

Specially, it is great it has a washer (and it would be wonderful if it could provider a dryer). Wi-fi coverage and signal strength is ok but has room to improve.

Clean, safe, it had everything we needed. It is down a quiet street right around the corner from the Plaka and so close to everything you would want to see. We would feel like we had walked so far away from the apartment only to discover we only had a couple of blocks to go! Fantastic at communicating with us, had no issues following the instructions to get our key. The beds were so comfortable, and it was so quiet. It has an elevator which was great so we didn’t have to drag our luggage up stairs. Water pressure is also really good! Nothing!

Just around the corner from the unit many restaurants, coffee shops, gelato, shopping. Near new units with a very comfortable and "at home" feel. I would absolutely hope to rent again!!!

Perfectly situated in a quiet street right next to the bustling Plaka district with it's shops and tavernas, it is very close to the Acropolis and many of the extraordinary places of interest. The apartment was clean, bright and modern and the beds very comfortable. Access was very easy, using the clear instructions provided by the host. We intend to return to Athens and will have no hesitation in booking this lovely apartment again.

• Karen (10/5): The perfect apartment from which to explore Athens! - The apartment is located in the best part of Athens for walking to the amazing sites there. There were interesting shops and many restaurants to choose from. The kitchen has everything you need if you want to eat in but the cafe’s were so close by, we chose to eat out. There is a great little coffee shop steps from the front door! The bedding is lovely and the bed very comfortable. We received very clear directions about how to access the unit and the host gave us a number to call to book a taxi from the ferry and to the airport. We had heard horror stories anathema, but we had a great time there! We loved it all! Nothing!

• Walt (10/5): Do not pass this place up - excellent stay - I was a little hesitant to book this place due to there not being many reviews, but I'm really glad we went ahead and booked it. We loved everthing about it - 1) Its prime location in the prime Plaka neighborhood - we were able to walk to almost all of the main Athens attractions we were interested in, even though we are 72 years old - for instance, the Acropolis, Hadian's arch, and the Acropolis museum. There is a nearby Metro that you can take for locations that are further away, for example we used it to go to the National Archaelogical Museum. Of course, if you are younger and healthier than us, you can maybe walk there too. 2) Even though it is in the Plaka neighborhood, it is located on a very quiet street, with the famous Plaka restaurants and shops only a block away. 3) The apartment itself is very comfortable, clean, and has about everything you might need - for example, it has many dishes, pots/pans, silverware, tea, coffee, etc. It even has laundry soap and clothespins! Also, everthing is of good quality. Beds are comfortable. 4) The owner is very, very helpful and personable. He made a special trip to come to the apartment so that we could store our luggage before check in and he scheduled a taxi for us to go to the airport with a company that was very professional. Also, he asked us before we left if there was anything that we would suggest that he could improve. This might be why he has practically everything you can think of for your use in the apartment. Do not hestitate in booking this apartment! Nothing

• Sharon (9/5): Dont pay for a hotel when you can stay here in the heart of the Plaka in a beautiful space and walking distance to great - The location is sensational!!! The apartment is very comfortable especially the beds! Having flown from Australia arriving to a spotlessly clean apartment with all the comforts of home was so good. Why would you stay in a hotel when you can enjoy your own room and space to spread out and chill out too. I highly recommend staying here. I had a little trouble opening the door with the key, but was able to contact the owner- who gave advice and once in no problems. I think i was just exhausted from the journey
