Guest Reviews
- Smith (9/5): Comfort and Convenience with a Touch of Space - The accomodation is open and gives the impression of more space than there is. Comfortable pull out corner sofabed, large enough TV and the wifi was fast enough for us. Space around the bed was tight but if you're smaller than us, you won't have any problems (I kicked the wall a few times getting up!) the kitchen area is well equipped if you're planning on cooking for yourself. There's a toaster, drip coffee machine, multi oven toaster type machine a microwave and an electric 2 Hob. The dishwasher was a nice touch. The laundry room was convenient as it was on the same corridor as the apartment.
Plenty of power outlets and beside the bed, they had usb ones too.
The balcony was the best bit for us. We love to just sit outside after a day in the theme parks, away from people. It was small for 2 people and the plastic chairs could probably be upgraded to maybe those folding gravity recliners? Then you could really relax.
I don't know why hotels in Orlando don't offer more balconies on newer properties? It's a hot location and fresh air is better than air conditioning all the time.
Air con was good. Just about cool enough to take the edge off but it was October/November and it was a lot cooler than summer would be. I can't say how cool it would feel then.
Bathroom was clean and functional, shower was hot enough. It's not a power shower but it does the job. The bathroom sink drains incredibly slowly.
Overall it's a great location, great views and we would definitely rebook again. The only real criticism of the space is the lack of drawer storage. The wardrobe is fine, but generally don't hang tee shirts and the shelf was too high for me to use (I could barely reach the safe there either). As there's only 2 of us and my giant husband could reach anything, this wasn't an issue for us. But if a family of four or three adults stayed here, you could struggle to find places for your clothes.
We didn't use the main building facilities. We did have a look around. The pool looked nice, vending machines don't work (it'd be nice to have access to vending machines and ice machines), the Marketplace cafe area wasn't exactly welcoming. There were three people in there, 2 behind the bar one woman at a table drinking coffee. No signs or menus saying if they're open or what they offer. There was one sign at the left of the bar saying closed. We just left and walked up to iDrive. That would be a brilliant spot for a coffee dock area but it needs to be more welcoming. Again this doesn't reflect the apartment owner as they've no control over this stuff.
- Giorgi (10/5): Exceptional - Location, location and location. Close to all Universal parks! 5-7 min drive. You can actually see the tip of the Hogwarts from your balcony! You can see the fireworks if you are visiting during the Christmas New Years like we did. For a family of 3 this is a great place to stay. Clean, lots of natural light and walkable to nearby attractions.
- Kelley (8/5): Very good -
