• Schneider (8/5): - Belle vue depuis l'appartement sur l'Acropole. Bien situé: nombreux restaurants et commerces à proximité, Métro à 2 pas. Adapté pour 6 personnes mais un peu juste pour les 8 personnes que nous étions. Une chambre n'a pas de rangement et 2 chambres sur 3 sont fermées par des rideaux. Les salles de bain sont vieillissantes: manque une paroie de douche, robinet qui tombe... . Il y a un lave vaisselle et une cafetière type Nespresso mais aucune dosettes n'est disponible. .

• Martina (7/5): Eine tolle Wohnung, für mehrere Personen, in einer Toplage, aber ein wenig renovierungsbedürftig - Der Vermieter hat über Whatsapp mehrere Fotos, die genauen Anweisungen zum Betreten der Wohnung sowie das Heiswassersystem gesendet und war jederzeit erreichbar und antworterte sehr schnell. Sehr nette Kommunikation. Die Lage der Wohnung ist top, man kann alles in der Plaka zu Fuss erreichen. Auch ist sie gemütlich und mit allem notwendigen ausgestattet. Die Wohnung ist abgewohnt und müsste mal ein bisschen renoviert werden. Was sich aber schnell beheben lässt, wie z.B. wackeliger Wasserhahn oder Handtuchaufhängung, sowie Drücker an der Toilette im Gästeklo. Die Klimanalage in einem der Schlafzimmer ließ sich nicht ausschalten, so das wir die Sicherungen rausnehmen mussten. Die Fotos in der Ausschreibung sind wohl schon älter.

Tabi öncelikle kalınacak gün sayısına göre uygun bir metro, otobüs, tramvay gibi ulaşım araçlarında kullanılan bir bilet temin etmek gerekiyor. Ev sahibi havalimanından eve taksi ile transferimiz konusunda yardımcı oldu bu sayede aramamıza gerek kalmadan evi bulmak mümkün oldu. Havaalanından metro ile şehre geliniyor ama dört kişi olduğumuz için taksi fiyatı bize daha uygun geldi Tekrar geldiğimizde yine aynı evi tercih edebilirim. Yatak odalarından birindeki klimada sorun vardı, açılıyor ancak kumanda ile kapatılmıyordu,

La gentilezza della proprietaria e la signora delle pulizie L acqua calda non ha funzionato per 3 giorni e dopo una decina di solleciti ci ha dato la possibilità di utilizzare il bagno dell appartamento al secondo piano del palazzo. Alcune porte erano rotte ed anche un rubinetto di un bagno era mezzo rotto Un po' di attenzione sui dettagli e potrebbe avere tranquillitamente 10 come punteggio, ma al momento non posso dare che un 7.

The unit accommodate all 7 of us comfortably and the owner was responding in our requests including arranging the rides. The awning in the balcony was out of commission half way through. It blocked the sun which was a bonous for summer but also limited the light in upstairs

• Erika (10/5): Amazing! Would like to come back again :) - The location was excellent, close to the main atractions in Athens with plenty of good restaurants, bakeries and coffee shops around. The host was super nice and always reachable. Supported us with our taxi orders (at arrival and at leaving). I know it does not depend on the host but rather the location (old city area), but the toilets are a little strange to use. So be ready to drop the toilet paper not in the toilet, but in the bin. Yepp, even after the big stuff :)

Bonus για μένα τα πολύ άνετα στρώματα!! Μπορούν άνετα να μείνουν 3 ζευγάρια μιας και οι χώροι είναι αρκετά αυτόνομοι! Ο οικοδεσπότης ήταν κατατοπιστικότατος. Το αυτοκίνητο το αφήσαμε σε 24ωρο πάρκινγκ στην οδό Σαρρη (απόσταση 6-7 λεπτά με τα πόδια)!
• Cook (10/5): This is an incredible duplex with tons of space in an unbeatable and safe location in Athens that is walking distance to - The luxury duplex penthouse we stayed in was fantastic! The location is unbeatable - walking distance to restaurants, street market, shopping, and, of course, breathtaking archeological ruins. Our host took care of everything for us and made sure our stay was comfortable in every way. Our family of four absolutely loved our stay in this duplex and I have no doubt future guests will love it, too. Just a few small things - the shower was open concept so the entire floor got soaked and slippery. The cover of a toilet pull string fell off.

The apartments looks dated and did not resemble the pictures. Only one large bathroom, the second had small shower and upstairs was really only a toillette as it was very small. No place to hang clothes in upstairs bedroom.
• Kelly (8/5): Great place to enjoy the balcony and view on our last night in Athens before catching our flight. - The balcony is beautiful and the view is stunning. Our host was very responsive and gave excellent, clear instructions on how to enter the apartment and turn on the hot water. The beds were comfortable and there was a beautiful refrigerator in the kitchen. The elevator was helpful in getting us and our luggage up to the apartment. And, the magnifying mirror in the large bathroom was an extra added bonus and very much appreciated. The lighting in the half bath is very dim and the window shade appears to be permanently in the down position with no way to lift it to let any more light in. This made it a little bit difficult to shave, dry hair or put on makeup while the other bathrooms were occupied.

• Matthew (10/5): So much so close - The location was perfect. It has a great view of the acroplois, It is close to so many historic sites and a metro stop. The neighborhood was very pleasant and quiet in the evenings. The owner was so friendly and accommodating.

Nicely decorated, beds were comfortable, host was communicative and helpful. It is close to a lot of the major sites and close to the train station. The only minus for our group was the fact that the fourth bed was a pullout couch in a sort of a hallway right next to the bathroom shared by 2 other bedrooms, so the person sleeping there didn't get a lot of privacy. Otherwise, there were no issues.

• Penny (10/5): A Penthouse Gem with Acropolis View in Convenient Local Neighborhood! - Amazing view of Acropolis, very spacious and comfortable! Host provided multiple nice touches! Location was great in a quieter local neighborhood but easily walkable to everything! Great bakery and coffee place around the corner and an especially great local restaurant nearby (The Funky Taverna of Athens!) Nothing!
• Diane (7/5): Good stay yet could have been great with a few fixes - The view, the outdoor verandah with sufficient seating, the air conditioning worked very well, proximity to sites like the Acropolis and the Agora, grocery market, etc, felt safe walking in the neighborhood and to sites, great storage in the 2 bedrooms on the 3rd floor, elevator access to the 3rd and 4th floors of the unit, a sufficient amount of coffee was provided and a bottle of wine and a bottled water was also provided which was nice & unexpected, washer and dryer access, and sufficient linens and items to assist with our stay such as dishwasher cleaning pods, toilet paper, paper towels, new kitchen cloths to clean dishes, grocery markets nearby, etc. We arrived and there were no keys in the lock box. Attempted calling and texting the host with no response. Had two neighbors trying to help us gain access and waited outside on the sidewalk for 30 minutes or more before the cleaning person came to the door. She had been cleaning the unit and was unaware of our 3 PM arrival even though this info was provided. There is no shower or bathtub in the bathroom on the fourth floor - only a small sink and a toilet. The bedroom on the fourth floor had nowhere to place our luggage - a table or luggage racks would have been helpful. One of the kitchen windows did not lock so we had to come up with our own process to ensure it could not be opened. The large bathroom on the third floor was missing a shower door, causing water to splash all over the floor when using it. The towel rack in this bathroom was barely hanging on the wall and we were afraid to use it for fear it would completely detach from the weight of the wet towels, the toilet paper holder was also broken so you had to take the roll off the only bracket remaining or trying to use it on the bracket would cause the role to fall onto the floor. And a couple of the walls were really dirty- the one going up and down the stairs, which I’m guessing people use the wall as a handrail, and the wall on the opposite side of the refrigerator. Also instructions on how to use the washer and dryer would have been beneficial.
• Crystal (5/5): Passable - The location was good. Very close to restaurants and shopping. Well, the listing stated there were 3 king beds. But not a single bed is actually a king bed. The main reason I booked this was because I needed king beds. The price was higher than multiple other options, but I justified it for the king beds. We were all very disappointed. The listing also led me to believe there were 2 full bathrooms. There is only one nice sized bathroom. The other two really do not qualify as full baths. One is a toilet and sink only, and the other has a very small, difficult shower. Then, there is the issue of getting into and out of the building. The owner did a nice job of trying to explain, and he provided me with pictures. However, it is still somewhat confusing. Actually, getting out was a challenge. The door at the bottom before the courtyard requires a key to get out, and there are two that look the same it took us several minutes to get out. It felt like a major fire hazard Overall, the building is clean, and it's in a great area, but the listing really led me to believe this apartment was nicer than it actually is. I paid more for 3 king beds, and they were queens at best.

Host was very helpful and arranging transportation to and from the airport also very responsive with any questions I had. Nice view of the Acropolis at night. The accommodations were OK, but not as appealing as the pictures made it seem. Nice and clean, but not what I would consider luxury at all. Bathrooms are somewhat awkward and small.

Air conditioning worked. Quiet location. Needs better lighting in stairwell from 3rd to 4th floor and a handrail. Shower in the laundry room was difficult to operate and should have been nicer for a “luxury” apartment. We were lead to believe there were 2 full baths. Photos of the apartment were a little deceiving. It was very roomy. Fourth floor should have had a full bathroom instead of a 1/2.

• Julia (7/5): Comfortable apartment in a great location with amazing views - We loved the balcony and the views of the acropolis. It was very spacious, secure and cool and the welcome gifts were very good. The lift was very useful and the location was good, close to the centre but quiet. The apartment was very comfortable but many items needed repairs which was disappointing. However when I reported a problem, it was fixed very quickly.

The accommodations were clean and comfortable we only stayed one night but would have loved to stay longer. The neighborhood is safe and there is a view of the Acropolis from the cozy family room and terrace. We would have liked to have a check in before 3pm.
• Akhilesh (9/5): Superb - The apartment was situated right in the center convenient to most tourist attractions and restaurants. Good size with sufficient amenities. The security features were great, and the host was available anytime to sms. The old couch and the size of the shower.
• Patrick (3/5): Would not stay again! - The apartment is located in a weird area. You could go 2+ blocks up the street to the left and you were in a ghetto that I would not want to be caught in after dark. Unfortunately, that's the direction we were advised to go in to find a restaurant for our first meal in Athens. Did not inspire a lot of confidence in the area that we were staying. Then the next day we found that we could go 2+ blocks the other direction and be in a nice section with a beautiful view of the Acropolis and many nice restaurants and bars. I would definitely recommend that the owners relay this information to future guests. We were a party of 6 (3 couples) and each had our own bedroom. However, the AC is individual units in the bedrooms and the living area. No AC in the bathrooms, which could become very hot. The AC unit in the lower level bedroom would come on, but it would not blow out cold air. The room actually heated up after leaving it on for a couple of hours. After contacting the rental company, they assured me that they would have it repaired the next morning, so we spent a very uncomfortable 1st night in that bedroom. We went out on scheduled tours the next morning and received communication from the company that the unit was repaired. After returning that afternoon, the AC unit was still not working and the company did not offer any additional help after alerting them to the situation again. The temp in Athens those 2 days was 90 degrees plus, so it was another miserable night in a hot bedroom.

The elevator was helpful getting luggage up and down. The key situation was confusing at first but once we got the hang of it there wasn’t a problem.

Nicely set up for a short or longer term stay. They will set up airport transfers for you and help with logistics, even bag storage. Perhaps update the locks to an electronic system as the locks with different keys could be confusing at times but once you got the hang of it, it was fine.

• Jeanne (10/5): A spacious penthouse in the heart of Athens, within easy walking distance to sights and restaurants. - A big patio where you can enjoy time with those you are traveling with, while taking in a view of the Acropolis. I loved the easy to follow instructions to access the property. There are several steps to access the penthouse and with the pictures and written instructions, we were able to access it without a hitch. I loved the little extra's the host left for us. A bottle of wine, cold water, plenty of coffee for the machine, Athens magnets, and olive oil soaps. The host scheduled very early transport for us to the airport and it worked beautifully.

The location was convenient for walking to major historical sights but also to Monastiraki and Syntagma Square. Plenty of options nearby for restaurants, cafes and shopping. Host went above and beyond to be accommodating up until the very moment we left the property. Excellent!
