- Umiko (10/5): I’m very happy with my stay here. The room was clean and neat, as well as the bathroom. I was surprised to see a hot wat - It’s clean and neat, and there’s a bottle of water, a glass, a cup, and a hot water pot for making tea or coffee. I wish the towel was a bit softer.
- Ryan (7/5): Good - Location was perfect My check in was only at 4pm and I arrived at 9am so I had to walk around Dublin for like 8 hours to wait for my check in. Happy I was at least able to drop my bags off.

- Ginevra (9/5): - casetta molto accogliente, stanza piacevole e con tutto l'occorrente. Bagno pulito.

- Julia (10/5): - Considering the price, the centrality, the cleanliness, the room is incredibly accommodating, comfortable and cozy. 10/10 would recommend. All you'd need travelling and visiting Dublin: no less, no more.

Ho dormito malissimo...

- Billy (5/5): Cheap - be prepared for the comfort you will sacrifice - Cheap, central Very thing walls, creaky floors, low quality mattress, can hear people using the shared bathroom through the wal

- Glen (2/5): Basic boarding-house style accommodation for travellers seeking a low-cost, no-frills option in a central location - I booked a stay at City Nest. based on its strong reviews on Booking.com, so I was disappointed that my experience didn’t quite live up to expectations.
The positives, the location is excellent — around a 10-minute walk to many of Dublin’s main attractions, including Temple Bar and the Bord Gáis Theatre. There are also handy amenities nearby such as Tesco and several eateries. The proprietor has added some thoughtful touches, including tea and coffee facilities in the room and complimentary toiletries. There were a number of issues that affected my stay. Check-in is strictly from 4pm, with access dependent on collecting a key from a lockbox once the code is issued at that time. I found the lockbox difficult to open, which wasn’t the most welcoming start.
Although I had booked a single room, it was in need of maintenance. A loose floor strip (see photo) moved each time I entered or left the room. The towel provided was marked (photos attached), though to be fair, when I raised this with the proprietor — who is based on the ground floor — fresh towels were brought up promptly.
The biggest issue was the bed. It sagged noticeably and creaked with any movement, which resulted in a very poor night’s sleep. I also found what appeared to be a bug on the floor, which was concerning.
Overall, this is very basic boarding-house style accommodation. It may suit travellers seeking a low-cost, no-frills option in a central location, but unfortunately it wasn’t comfortable enough for me, and I wouldn’t choose to stay again.
- Sylwia (10/5): Thank you! - Very clean, great location, calm and silent, great communication with the owner.

- kapil (7/5): Great location but very bad for sleeping on a terrible mattress - Location was great. Host helped drop off my bags early which was great. The mattress is absolutely destroyed and they should replace it

- Michael (9/5): Nice little room and very clean shared bathroom. - Very central and nice located by the river.
The shared bathroom was very clean and proper AND with a window for fresh air ;).
A kettle, a bottle of water and tea/coffee accessories within the room. Only 1 towel.
More hooks in the bathroom, please!
The price...;)

- Aleksandra Marta Konstancja (6/5): Basic place for a fair price - Location and price.
- Chloe (9/5): - one of the cleanest places I've stayed at.
- Tiago (8/5): - Small cozy room facing into the back yard, although in the city center a very quite and tranquile location with a lot of amenities. The mattress was too soft for my taste.
- Joana (8/5): - Location. Room and bathroom were a bit cold.

- Midori (9/5): Excellent! - Close to the City Centre, stations, yet very quiet area. Quick and smooth communication and I wish I had a chance to see the owner during my stay. It was always very friendly and she gave me enough information on what to do. The staircases were rather a bit narrow, so if you have a really heavy luggage, you need to be careful carrying it upstairs. But, that would not really count as “bad” point.
- Kenneth (7/5): - It is clean, very well taken care of. Excellent location. Check in/out times are inconvenient.
- O' Dwyer (9/5): -
- Iriss_traveler (10/5): Perfect stay for a solo traveler - Cozy room with a great bed. No remarks!

- Tina (8/5): Perfect for a stopover, clean, safe and hospitable. - This place is perfect for a stopover in Dublin. It is super clean and the hostess has thought of everything you might need in terms of toiletries in the bathroom and a kettle and tea/coffee in the room. The standard is basic but everything is made beautiful and carefully arranged. The place feels very safe. The check in/check out is very smooth. Near the center and airport buses etc. The room is small but that is very common for a place like this - it fills its function perfectly.
- Max (10/5): Exceptional -
- Karin (9/5): Superb - Perfect for my short trip, super nice staff and host! Great location in the city center, everythings nearby, bus stops etc., still very quiet because the apartment is located in a small side street.
- Michael (10/5): Good place to stay, if in doubt, book it. - Pleasant and helpful welcome. Nice comfortable room. Located centrally in a reasonable area of the city.
- Zsuzsanna (10/5): Exceptional - Spacious room, spotless, well equipped, perfect location. A1 definitely recommend
- Deborah (7/5): Great location . Comfortable , clean and good value for money in a pricey city . - The location is excellent. Good communication from owner. Easy to check in . Shared bathroom was clean and
had clear instructions on how to operate shower. Mattress was uncomfortable.
Would have like an earlier check in . 4pm is quite late considering the checkout was 10 am.
- Gary (8/5): what i expected - simple and functional for one - instructions were clear
good location
basic room and shared bathroom
wi-fi
- Anne (8/5): Very good - I could not find a towel. That was a challenge!
- Oliver (9/5): Superb -
- Nirgun (9/5): Really good value for a central location in Dublin! - Exactly like the pictures. Really good location without having to deal with bar noises! Clean and comfortable bedroom and shower. It was pretty poor isolation but quiet times are from 23:00-08:00. Everyone followed this well so I was not disturbed. The door were a bit clunky to open to the bedroom and bathroom.
- Janelle (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ciara (10/5): Great location communication and value - Easy to find, great communication clear instructions and easy checkin/checkout, peaceful great sleep no noise or activity outside the window, great central location (few minute walk around the corner you and are near Trinity College) N/A
- Mary (8/5): Very good -
- Christian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Emily (9/5): It was exactly what I expected and needed for a comfy night in Dublin - Well situated and comfortable Thin walls mean you can hear everything in the hallway and bathroom
- Owen (7/5): Good -
- Isabel (6/5): Pleasant - Great area, the City Center is really close by and since the apartment is not on a main road it was very calm. Also at night during St. Patricks day. Room was small but ok for one person and only a few nights. Room was directly next to the bathroom and the walls are so thin, eveything can be heared. Blanket was not covered by a sheet and felt very uncomfortable. Bathroom with the only toilet was shared with several other peoples.
- Paulina (8/5): Good place for solo traveler - Clear and easy self check in. Amazing location - near city centre, but quiet at night. Price is much better than any place in a similar location. You can find a power adapter, towel and kettle in the room, which is very convenient. Very clean. If someone is staying in the room above you, you can hear all their steps. The shared bathroom is not very convenient, but the bathroom itself is good.
- Darren (10/5): Will definitely stay again, clean, WiFi and easy access to Dublin City. - WiFi was good, incredibly clean and great location for sightseeing.
- Mishaal (9/5): Superb -
- Emma (8/5): Very good value stay - very clean room, comfy bed, convenient location, lots of choice of teas, everything you needed for a short stay. Very good value for the city. Only complaint is being next to the bathroom was woken by other guests using this at night.
- Andrea (7/5): Good accommodation for a few days - Check in was very well explained and worked smoothly. Good location close to the city centre, just 10 minutes to walk to the Grafton Street.
An adapter for EU plugs was offered.
A curiosity on the side: I could see the sunrise from my bed. This only happens a few days a year and of course only when the weather is right, but I was still delighted to see the sun rise over the rooftops My room was right next to the bathroom. As the house is poorly soundproofed, the noises from the bathroom were clearly audible.
- Stephen (8/5): It was a good experience in a great location. - Excellent location. Good communication from the host. Clean room and facilities. I noticed as I was leaving that wifi was available (clearly indicated in the room but I missed it) - although the main description of the property states that it wasn't available. It was near the Airport Express bus stop too. The kettle in the room was appreciated but it had to be moved to the floor as the lead was incredibly short.

- Цюрюпа (9/5): Superb - I was surprised by the high quality of everything for such a small price (I paid around 60 euros per night for a private room). I really, really appreciated the attention to detail and the little things. For example, there was a heater and some tea and water in my room, as well as pads and cotton pads in the bathroom. There were also some kitchen essentials provided.
And lots of small details made the interior feel more atmospheric and stylish. The only minor issue was that the phone number listed on the booking (as of the end of December 2024) wasn't valid. I couldn't make a call, and one man was stuck outside because the phone number was incorrect, and he didn't have a smartphone to connect through the booking app. I helped him, but the overall situation was quite bad.
- Charis (5/5): Passable - Room was small but relatively comfortable, wifi worked. Is just a room in a shared house, didn't see the hosts at all, a lot of noise at night, no markings or sign on street to know where to go. Relatively downtrodden area but convenient enough.
- Wilson (4/5): Disappointing -
- John (7/5): Good -
- Thomas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional - Clean, cheap and excellently located.
