• camila (8/5): - Está muy bien ubicado, cerca del centro y la playa Pea. Tiene unos jardines muy bonitos con una piscina. El desayuno es muy completo y delicioso. Las almohadas están muy viejas. El personal de aseo es muy bullicioso. Pasan hablando fuerte y haciendo mucho ruido durante el servicio.

Shuttle to airport can be more flexible. We were shuttled to the airport 4 hours before our flight and the airport's seating area was not open until an hour after we arrived.

• yamada (9/5): 美しいホテルと美味しい朝食で、ゆったり滞在することができました。絶対朝食付きにした方がいいと思います。 - 敷地内の植物やガーデニングがすごく整備されていて美しい庭や歩道を歩くことができた。フロント、食堂、部屋を何度も行き来したが、いつも気持ちよく歩くことができた。 朝食はパイやパンが一部変わるだけで、ほぼ同じメニューのバイキングであったが、日本人には嬉しいきゅうりとトマト、ピクルスがあり野菜も取れたことと、フレッシュなナチュラルグアバジュースがあったこと、温かい飲み物もあったことが嬉しかった。パンとハム、チーズだけでないことが、ありがたかった。 また、スクランブルエッグがとてもふわふわで美味しかった。 また、1番ありがたかったのは日本人がいらしたこと。ツアーの内容や申し込みがしやすく、事前に情報をたくさん聞けたことで、ツアーをより楽しむことができた。 他のスタッフも英語が話せないスタッフも含めて、みなさん親切だった。 土地柄と環境の問題だと思うが、タオルがキレイではないのが気になった。部屋も庭もとてもキレイだったので、余計気になったのだと思う。 また、お風呂がバスタブ付きで素敵なのだが、あまりにも横幅が狭すぎて滑りやすい。足を踏ん張らないとシャワーの時と、バスタブからの出入りするときに転びそうになる。 床もタイルで、蒸気でツルツルするので、つかまるところと床にもっとタオルを敷きたいと思った。小さめの一枚であったため、バスタブ横と、洗面台、どちらもツルツルするので、いちいち動かして使うのが手間であったし、かつすぐタオルがびちょびちょになってしまった。

• Simona (9/5): An oasis inside the island, amazing garden - perfect location, close to everything in town. All rooms also have access to the garden. And the garden is truly amazing! It’s like an oasis or a little paradise on an island that already feels like paradise…so even if the rooms are a bit simple, they are spacious and you have everything you need. Great value for money. They also organise shuttle service to and from the airport, you don’t need to pay for it or worry about anything, they take great care of you. Shower was a bit outdated, and beds might be a bit small for larger persons, but we had no problems.

• Alexandra (7/5): Relaxing & enjoyable. - Central location. Lovely garden area with a pool. Free ranging chickens everywhere! Rooms large with a fridge. Owner went ‘above & beyond’ customer service by coming to the airport to find us with items my partner had forgotten in our room - thank you. Bathrooms could be more modern. Breakfast, very firmly, stops (doors locked) at 10am. Had some early ‘issues’ with our room….which were resolved.

• Lixia (9/5): Great hotel in the center of town. Good location. - WiFi is only in public areas. You have to come out in the rain to contact your tour driver. No convenient. Wifi in the room is a must. Need improvement.

• Mark (10/5): Excellent hotel close to everything - The hotel is set on beautiful grounds with a lovely swimming pool , the staff are super friendly and very helpful . The rooms were clean and had a good powerful shower the room also had good air conditioning and had a room safe . The buffet breakfast was excellent. The WiFi could be better but works well near reception so wasn’t a big problem .
• Ronald (2/5): giant cockroaches - the lovely garden In 1 night I killed 8 giant cockroaches in my bedroom and bathroom. This is a horror scenario which I never experienced in the Americas, Africa or Asia. A friend of mine also had huge cockroaches in her room and she moved to another hotel. The swimming pool was empty and the hotel did not try to clean or fill it. The whole place needs to be renovated.

• Clyde (10/5): We enjoyed staying here. - This was a great place to stay. The air conditioned rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast was good and the hotel is centrally located making it easy to walk to most places. The office staff was very helpful, they arranged a tour of the island and a dinner show for us. This was a very enjoyable stay.

It is most convenientally placed near to the main street and only a couple of hundred metres from the small port and restauarants and of course the evening sunset views at Ahu Tahai. A huge thank you to Gino for all the excellent advice and chats during my stay. Coffee! I really like strong coffee.

• Yvonne (8/5): Excellent location, wonderful staff - terrible wifi! - Wonderful gardens and an excellent location within walking distance of shops and restaurants. Breakfast was very good with different home cooked cakes and pastries every day, and the staff were extremely helpful. A wonderful welcome at the airport set the scene for my time here at O'Tai and I'd stay here again. People were constantly using my patio area as a shortcut to get to the pool resulting in no privacy at all. The wifi was terrible. Sporadic and only really accessible if you sat directly outside the office. Starlink is apparently available on the island in December 2022, here's hoping that the hotel choose to invest in the system.

• Marzieh (9/5): Superb - The garden was so beautiful which to me was like a heaven. And swimming pool was great. They should check all the facilities in the room in advance. My first room had only very hot water, they changed to another room, which aircondition was not working properly. Two days before my departure they changed my room to a very nice one. I wonder why they did not give me that room at the beginning or after the first change. Otherwise everything was fine. Jino the receptionist was a very nice, friendly and helpful.

• David (10/5): Charming hotel with beautiful gardens, lovely pool in the town centre - absolutely gorgeous property with stunning gardens and a lovely warm swimming pool in the Center. We were delayed by a day because we did not know about the PCR test requirement for entering Easter Island (fyi!!) and they made a huge effort to ensure we were not charged even though we were a day late arriving. The staff also helped with bookings in Spanish! they could not have been more helpful. Another thing: our hotel was five minutes from the waterfront ! great location! wifi was available only near the office but we knew that prior to booking - it was manageable.
• Petr (8/5): Very good - I liked the nicely arranged garden and the location, which is not far from the center of the town, is suitable. Swimming pool was good in the nice garden. Unfortunately, the information from the hotel was misleading, mainly about the PCR test, when the hotel informed us about a sufficient period of 48 hours for the test result before departure. Fortunately, we checked this information on the website of the government of Chile, where the correct deadline was 24 hours.......

• Hongsheng (10/5): Exceptional - I had a quite short stay at O’tai but it was quite nice. The owner helped me a lot with my stay on the island even though it’s holiday and I was offered extreme convenience to suit my schedule. Thanks a lot and hope we meet again:)
