• Angelica (8/5): It was a delightful adventure with nice views of neighboring buildings. Charming to the nth degree. - Location in Old Town was charming experience. Views from my room were delightful. Hotel was very clean. There was a lift that helped navigate 4 of the 5 floors with guest rooms. This is a necessity for disabled guests. Furniture is pretty basic. The towel heater bar worked! The room had both a mini-fridge and coffee making facilities. Also a hot water kettle. Tbe bathroom was roomy enough. Though the elevator is a plus, you need to take stairs to the first floor and from the fifth to the eagles nest room on top. Clearly the layout and architecture of the building prevented extending the elevator shaft. In its advertising. The hotel should advise guests that people with limited mobility would have difficulty navigating. Room furnishings are adequate but basic. I was longing for a surface higher than the little coffee' table, because I use a laptop. A small desk with chair or a higher table would have been more useful.

Although the wooden beams looked great and did a cracking job of holding up the roof, I had to crawl under one to make a coffee, but at least there was a coffee machine!

• Berat (1/5): - I had a confirmed reservation with 24/7 self check-in, but my experience was extremely disappointing. Upon arrival late at night, the self check-in system did not work. After several attempts, I contacted the hotel by phone and was eventually given access to a room. However, just as I reached the entrance, I received another call informing me that the hotel was actually fully booked and that I needed to leave. This happened around midnight, leaving me with very limited options. No alternative accommodation was offered by the hotel, and I was left in a difficult situation with low phone battery. In the end, I had no choice but to sleep in my car. This is unacceptable for a confirmed booking, especially when 24/7 check-in is advertised. Reliability in such situations is essential, and unfortunately, this was not the case here.

• Alessia (5/5): - Le foto fanno sembrare le camere di una grandezza decente, in realtà la mia camera era un buco con le travi a soli 20 centimetri dalla faccia, non c'era spazio per muoversi né per mettere la valigia. Nella struttura ci sono due camere per piano, e al posto dell'ascenzore c'é un lentissimo montacarichi. Pulizia nella norma, pavimenti non pulitissimi. Non c'é nessuno a cui chiedere info per parcheggi convenzionati/parcheggi piú comodi. É sicuramente una soluzione accettabile per chi in pochi giorni vuole girare la città, infatti si trova nella città vecchia, molto vicino al ponte storico in legno, ma di fatto poco vivibile e molto scomodo per chi invece gira per lavoro.

• Finn (2/5): Lage top, Wohnung flop. Benutztes Kondom und SNUS am Boden??? Sowas geht echt gar nicht!! - Die Lage ist super. Das Einchecken hat einwandfrei funktioniert. Die Unterkunft war SEHR dreckig. Es lag ein benutztes Kondom unter dem Bett und ein Snus lag auch am Boden. Der Boden wurde mit Sicherheit nicht geputzt. Die Sauberkeit war bodenlos schlecht. Die Wohnung selbst ist auch nicht mehr im besten Zustand, der Verputz war vielerorts kaputt und der Tisch hatte eklige Flecken. Ich würde die Unterkunft definitiv NICHT weiterempfehlen!

• Deborah Lisa (7/5): Für eine Nacht in der Luzerner-Altstadt war die Übernachtung super. - Super Lage, Nähe vom See und mitten in der Altstadt. Super schnelles check-in, selbsterklärend. Das Zimmer war sauber. Schnelles warmes Wasser zum Duschen vorhanden. Der Kühlschrank funktionierte nicht, trotz dem Einstecken. Die Decke ist recht niedrig, vor allem für grössere Menschen ziemlich unbequem. Schwache Lichtverhältnisse im Zimmer.

Por no decir que el precio de la reserva subió 10 francos ese día. Y que no estaba limpio, habitación llena de golpes y suelo sin limpiar, la ducha rota y perdía agua. Escribí a atencion al cliente de Booking y me ofrecieron otra habitación, era más grande pero aún así con la misma falta de higiene. Sin sábanas bajera, solo el forro del colchón (que por cierto era incomodisimo)

Very comfortable bed and a very nice bath room. Absolutely great value for the money. The lighting in the room was really really poor. Also the fridge, coffee/tea offer was so hidden under the roof that I only found it shortly before leaving. Should be more visible for the guest

Когда мы попросили поменять нам номер в котором хотя-бы не воняло, нам отказали. Я бы посоветовала владельцу этой ужасной гостиницы, не обманывать людей. Фото не соответствуют действительности.

• Urs (7/5): - Kein Frühstück gebucht, Lage zentral und doch sehr ruhig! Self-Check-In empfand ich als sehr praktisch, habe das so vorher noch nicht gekannt. Die E-Mail von Booking.com kurz vor meinem erfolgreichen Check-In, wonach meine Kreditkarte ungültig und deshalb gesperrt worden sei! Das lässt darauf schliessen, dass Booking.com versucht hat, im Voraus meine Hotelzimmerrechnung meiner angegebenen Kreditkarte zu belasten. Das fand ich äusserst schwach und nicht gerade kundenfreundlich!

• Omar (6/5): Rivedibile - Comodo il check in e check out in totale autonomia, fa strano il fatto che non ho visto una sola persona che lavora nell hotel L ascensore, che in realtà è un montacarichi, decisamente rumoroso, pianerottolo minuscolo con solo 2 camere e montacarichi al centro, pertanto il rumore arrivava facilmente dentro la stanza, anche la pavimentazione degli scalini dal secondo piano in poi è di plastica e quindi molto rumorosa passandoci su con le acarpe. Camera piuttosto piccola e con le travi in diagonale molto pericolose 🤕, letto estremamente basso, ma abbastanza comodo

• Martin (3/5): Lucerne is beautiful with lots of choices for accommodation. - Good location I arrived at 9.00pm, unable to get access to the property as the access key pad was not working. Thankfully another party of guests who were also locked out called the contact number in Mexico. After many attempts we were all able to gain access. The room was basic and clean, but I do feel that it was not value for money.

Es gibt kein Personal somit kann man auch nicht reklamieren, praktisch für d - - sehr dreckig Haare im Bett, Lavabo und Dusche. das einzige Möbel eine Art Nachttischlein war verstaubt und hatte sichtbar Haare darauf. Das Bett war frisch bezogen hatte jedoch ebenfalls Haare einer anderen Person wie auch Flecken auf dem Bettlaken. Das Bad war ebenfalls unsauber.

Los troncos, que en la foto que vi cuando hice la reserva, parecían un elemento decorativo, eran un estorbo. Tenía que agacharme para circular en la habitación, a pesar de que mi estatura es baja. No había luz suficiente, estuve en penumbras a pesar de encender todas las luces posibles, incluidas las del baño. El ascensor era un montacargas y había que tener un botón apretado hasta llegar al piso de la habitación. Y el primer piso era un tramo por escaleras. Sumamente incómodo para bajar con el equipaje.

Price was very reasonable If you need to drop off luggage prior to check-in, you basically leave it with the restaurant at the bottom of the hotel - this overall worked well but didn't seem as safe as it could have been. The floor above us had extremely squeaky floors and was very noisy as the walls/floors are very thin.

Portable fans were in the room, but the rooms were still hot. We had to open windows but windows had no screens to keep bugs out. Bathroom drains drained slowly. Rooms size was small but don't think that can be changed.

Visitare Lucerna dall'Hotel Lestelle è super comodo, hai tutto a portata di mano La mansardina se da un lato è molto romantica, dall'altro scomoda: la macchina del caffè non collegata alla presa che per farti il caffè dovevi metterti in ginocchio, la tavoletta del water rotta, non pulitissimo in alcune parti della stanza. Servizi essenziali quasi da pensione e non da albergo. In complesso per stare una notte va bene

• Kathryn (6/5): Great location - The location was incredible! The room is quite spacious, looking at the floor space but it feels small because the beams make half the room inaccessible. The fan they provided was a lifesaver during the hot August weather! No ability to not have your room cleaned each day. I thought leaving your towel hanging was the universal symbol that you don’t need them changed but regardless, the housekeeping changed every towel, every day. I knew it was self check in when I booked but I don’t like how impersonal this is

Room was on top floor with low beams as it is an old building, very hot due to very warm weather, needed the fan on all night on top speed. Very small room but overall was a great location and quiet so I was happy.

• Hossam (1/5): Worst hotel ever. - Nothing. Very small rooms, there was no one to talk to so no customer service at all. When we took a shower all the water was coming out all the way to bed this happened two days in a row. Hand washing sink also was clogged. Last night one our room lost electricity at 11pm and there’s no one to contact so we had to stay in dark room with no fan ( this Hôtel didn’t had AC ) in hot room till morning. No USB charger, this was one THE worst Hôtel experience we had. I would recommend to anyone to stay in this hotel. 0 star.

• Xingwei (3/5): Poor - Electric fans are thick with dust, which is very unfriendly to people who are allergic to dust. The drain in the shower space is very blocked. The room was very stuffy and not suitable for a summer trip. The hotel needs to do something about the fact that some guests have left their rubbish in the stairway.

• Emanuele (3/5): It worked, but needs to be better. - Easy to reach. Cheap. For 30 grueling minutes I didn't know if I was going to spend the night outdoor or if I had to find another hotel. The self-check-in machine didn't recognize my booking number and wouldn't give me a card to open my room. The emergency phone number provided by the hotel was left unanswered and booking.com did not provide a phone number: I left a number of emails and messages to both hotel and bookin.com but I didn't seem to be reaching anybody. Eventually I did call the emergency number again and seemingly just by chance I managed to reach a human who was not particularly apologetic and suggested the apostrophy in my last name caused the check-in system to malfunction. He helped me through by providing a confirmation number I did not have until that point and that allowed me to get the card for my room. The wooden stairs of the place were very creaky as I went up, and I was worried I would wake up other people on them, or that other people would wak me up. But ultimately they did not prove a problem during the night. The room was smaller than I expected, with a particularly low ceiling over the bed: made me wonder if I'd bump my head against it at night. The place somehow didn't feel as clean as other places in the same price category. It has potential and character but it is too much of a random mishmash of old and new for me, and it feels, as a structure, it is not receiving as much investment as it deserves to really make the best of it. Could have been worse: the bed was comfortable, the shower was warm and ultimately the room did the job. But the uncertainty for the check-in is really unacceptable and generated quite a bit of anxiety in a moment toward the end of the day when all I wanted is to rest instead.
