• Malak (8/5): - Clear instructions to enter and the property matched the pictures online which is good. Even though it says there’s AC, it wasn’t working as it’s controlled by the whole building ….and the staff said they can’t do anything about it . It was super hot and we can only open windows and shutters which wasn’t ideal from a privacy and noice aspect. I recommended that 1. They should’ve told us that this was the case considering they were whatsapping us days before coming and they didn’t . 2. There should be a fan backup for these things- it was very very hot and we couldn’t sleep all night . The WiFi was also not working and when I reached out , they said to plug it out and try again- tried this multiple times and tried connecting from different devices and it still wasn’t working- the staff wasn’t helpful from that end at all.

Its clean with functional kitchenette, full size fridge and washing machine which are my top priorities when looking for a great holiday stay Although it was not an issue during our stay because it rained, I’d like the room colder at night. I could not get the temperature right. Instruction says it can only be adjusted +/- 3 degrees of the default temperature which is unknown.

I killed over a dozen not exaggerated at all. My wife and I brought home mosquito bitessss from Italy. I killed a few the first day and then got couple of bites overnight. More showed up the next day. I killed them everywhere in the house and ensured no more...but still more showed up... I wasn't sure if thats from the central air-conditioning or somewhere else because we didn't open the windows and the windows had mosquito nets. I realized there were blood stains on the wall so probably it happened to the other guests before. Host please address the issue. - Bath towel smell was not pleasant - Tho objective, I think the bed was too soft and the pillows were too hard - The TV didnt seem working (not really my concern. Host can check it out if seeing this message)

We did not bring in shampoo and conditioner due to international flight. So, we had to purchase some and carry them to the next city. It is a bit inconvenient and wasteful.

• Globetrekker (6/5): Convenient Location and Great Staff, but Comfort Issues in Winter - Excellent location within walking distance from Milano Centrale, perfect for easy access to trains. Good value for money compared to nearby hotels, especially for families with children. The apartment was well-equipped with a kitchen and washing machine, which seemed ideal for longer stays. However, we only stayed for a short time and did not use these facilities and cannot fully review their functionality. Outstanding communication with the staff; they were very accommodating and arranged an early check-in at 10:30 AM, which was a huge plus. Smooth check-in process with clear instructions provided. No luggage storage option after check-out, unlike hotels. We had to pay extra for an external luggage storage service, which diminished the benefit of being close to the train station. Significant heating issues during the winter season. Although there was underfloor heating, it only seemed functional in the bedroom and laundry area. The living room and bathroom remained cold, making the living space uncomfortable. Due to the cold living room, our family had to share the small bed in the bedroom instead of using the sofa bed in the living room, which defeated the purpose of booking an entire apartment. We couldn’t bring ourselves, as parents, to sleep in the heated bedroom and leave our child in the cold living room. The sofa bed was only suitable for a small child, not comfortable for older children or adults. Also, the bed mattress not too comfy, it was sagging in the middle and lacked proper support.

Difficult to get into, and it’s the only place that asked me to send a picture of my passport over WhatsApp instead of having a secure link to load it. I was not comfortable doing that.

• Lynne (10/5): Very comfortable modern apartment close to the Milan central train station. - The apartment was nicely decorated, beds were comfy, the layout was very practical especially for a smaller apartment, the shower was wonderful. We loved it. The location is super as it's less than a 10 minute walk from Milan Central train station and very close to the Gioia Metro stops. We were out several times late at night and never felt uncomfortable walking back to the apartment. There are a few restaurants close by and of course the train station Mercato is easily accessible. There was a nice little collection of snacks left for us at the apartment. The host was extremely response to any questions - amazing and I very much enjoyed our interactions. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

It was easy to check-in & out, and the host was available to answer the questions promptly. The apartment is cosy, comfortable and well-equipped, and feels like a small home. There were also some snacks & water offered and it was really thoughtful and made us feel welcome! We loved it! The only small drawback is that the check out is at 10am and they can't keep the luggage after check-out. It is the same as any other apartment booking (vs hotel) so it's not specific to this apartment, but good to know in advance to get organized.
