Guest Reviews
- Carmel (9/5): - Lovely, comfortable apartment. Quiet and very well located. Great to have 2 bathrooms. Very easy to access apartment via a lock box, with clear instructions provided.
- Natasha (8/5): Over all happy with our stay - Location was in a handy area, close to sth bank Not a lot of wardrobe space, needs some shelving
- Kellie (9/5): - Size of apartment and courtyard, location and hosts were quick to respond to enquiries.
- Kaisar (10/5): -
- Jamie (8/5): Pleasant stay in a well located, spacious apartment. - Gates carpark. Spacious apartment with courtyard. Tasteful decoration. Aircons, WC, appliances etc all functioning well. Quiet. 10 mins walk to cafes, restaurants and supermarket. Cockroaches visiting daily despite us keeping food away and clearing the rubbish daily. The coils in the roll away bed are soft and give no support.
- Mark (4/5): Whilst the apartment was in a good location, the maintenance and upkeep need to be improved drastically for it to be wor - The property had a great outdooor area There was no hot water the whole weekend.
My daughter woke to a cockroach in her bed. There were also cockroaches in the kitchen.
The towels and sheets were not totally clean. Towels were stained and sheets were also.
For the price we paid we would expect all of the above to be the minimum standard especially the hot water service and vermin in the property.
- Silvina (9/5): -
- Amanda (1/5): Extremely costly for an extremely disappointing property and stay. - I initially picked the property partly because of location to Southbank and that it accepted pets. Property is on a busy road which attracts street racing all hours of the night. The property was unclean, unkempt, unloved, and overpriced. The garden was overgrown, there were stains on the couch, and tiles in the ensuite weren’t attached to the walls. The grout had mould, and the previous occupants had left soap and shampoo in the soap tray. The air conditioner in the main living area didn’t work, the architraves were rotten, door handles were broken, and there was exposed plasterboard in the main bathroom. And that's just the start! Additionally, the noise from other occupants entering and exiting the building, along with the air conditioning unit from the upstairs unit, kept us awake at night. When we complained and left a night earlier than planned, the property offered minimal compensation on the condition we didn’t leave an honest review. I hope this review helps the next person who might be misled by the property’s description.
- Michael (9/5): Very good choice with great options for dining and entertainment at both Southbank and west end, both within east walkin - Very spacious and well appointed. Great location, easy access and good communication by the owner. It was perfect for two couples. We enjoyed our night in this apartment catching up with friends from interstate. Secure parking for one car. Easy walk to Southbank and west end for dining and entertainment. We had two cars so one had to find parking on the street with metred parking.
- Mary-anne (10/5): - It suited us and being close to south bank and attending craft show Nothing
- Sarah (10/5): - Ground floor apartment with tile floors, full kitchen and laundry with powder provided. We appreciated the two outdoor spaces, especially the outdoor furniture and sheltered back courtyard for hot days. Secure parking was also very convenient in the basement. Great wifi.
- Sarge (10/5): Could not be happier with out stay. Very happy. - The 2 bed apartment was amazing. Spacious and clean. Will definitely stay there again. Nothing it was perfect for us.
- Ben (9/5): - It was spacious and well appointed. The toilet in the ensuite is a little cramped
- Wilson (7/5): -
- Robert (3/5): Not restful at all - Close to convention centre. Modern and clean Construction next door starts at 6am and during the last evening the fire alarm panel beeped all night
- Bruce (7/5): In general it was a good place to stay apart from the construction next door - Large construction site next door woke me up at 6.30am every morning
Air con in living room didn't work and the room was cold.
Coffee maker did not work properly
No Free to air TV channels
Spa bath didn't work
Grout missing from tiles makes it look old and neglected
- Gillian (8/5): - Spacious, lovely private garden to look out on, short walk to Southbank, welcoming and clear instructions before arrival and departure. Lock box easy to use and free parking. Lovely strong and hot shower. Couldn't get free to air TV. Why 2 flickers for aircon in lounge (took a while to work it out)? Building next door (but not noisy with windows shut).
- Lay Hong (10/5): -
- Lana (10/5): Exceptional - Locality to what we were in Brisbane for was perfect
Clean tidy and comfortable
Easily accessible There was not anything at all that I did not like about this property
- Christine (10/5): Location, space and privacy - Perfect for a catch- up spot for 2 couples, each with their own private rooms and bathrooms. The outside area was huge and had plenty of seating amongst the greenary. The music from the Greek festival was fantastic, but once inside the apartment, it couldn't be heard because walls were very soundproof. Within walking distance to restaurants, parks and a promenade along the riverside. The teabags weren't strong enough. Not enough milk was in the fridge.
- Tyson (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ray (5/5): Pretty fair over all but not what I expected. - Good amount of room Needed fixing up. It was next door to a construction site and had no privacy outside, bathrooms were pretty out dated and in rough shape, lounge was stained and unit looked like it was in the middle of budget repairs.
- Rebecca (10/5): Great! - Such a lovely apartment in a convenient location. Excellent communication, so quiet and the courtyard was lovely
- Naomi (10/5): Exceptional - Immaculate, lots of light, beautiful courtyards. Great location right across from the pool.
- Robin (8/5): Great apartment but...... - Excellent apartment.
Top of the range facilities and appliances.
Very good location.
REALLY TOP QUALITY .
The apartment was very clean except........cat hair. SEE BELOW The apartment is right next door to a major development that overlooked and dominated the very nice courtyard/ patio. Workmen arrived from 6.30 and started serious work and noise outside the master bedroom at 7.00
The outside furniture, which was very nice was covered with cat hair, some of which had been transported inside.
- Zhanna (8/5): The stay was nice! It was nice to experience the city life and apartment life! It’s comfy here! I - I loved the spar bath, unfortunate I couldn’t get the spar part to work but still awesome to relax the muscles in the bath. The location was good, easy access to all shops and restaurants, and you’re right next to the park.
Loved the aircon. Outside was pretty and has a lovely set up. It was hard to take your bin out as most bins were fall and some had maggots all inside. Hard to find things to cook with but had pots and pans which is the main thing. No bin bags for bathroom but that’s probably a host choice.
- Susan (10/5): Exceptional - very spacious comfortable and convenient for trips out and the night life.
washing and drying facilities great. managed to get in bit earlier which helped us get dried out after our trip to the rainforest. Thanks.
- Jonr7 (9/5): Spacious, clean, comfortable and convenient - Very spacious, excellent facilities, particularly in the kitchen, great location. A few minutes' walk from shops and restaurants and Southbank. Excellent instructions in the form of an SMS text on the checking in and departing procedures. A few small maintenance items need attention. I have reported these to the owner/manager. They didn't adversely affect my stay. At the moment there is building work going on next door so there is some noise during the workdays.
- Gabrielle (10/5): Very relaxing - a cool respite from Brisbane’s heat. - Spacious. Comfortable. Bathroom plus ensuite - excellent. Undercover parking. Convenient location in South Brisbane. Brilliant aircon.
- Rebecca (10/5): Exceptional -
- Caroline (10/5): Great location - your home away from home - Great hosts with excellent communication
Perfect location and an easy walk to SouthBank and many restaurants etc
- Chen (8/5): Jindalee is very convenient as you can walk to the city. A cool suburb to live in as it looks safe. -
- Chris (9/5): Superb -
- Liam (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kathryn (10/5): I stayed for 2 weeks and enjoyed the spacious, clean and beautiful space. - Clean, owner was a great communicator and supportive. Environment was great and beautifully decorated. Nothing
- Fiona (9/5): Really comfortable place to stay & come home to. Fantastic location & George was quick to reply when needed. - Fantastic location. Great feeling apartment with the courtyard & big windows. Wifi was spotty
