• Cara (8/5): Great location & dog friendly. Walking distance to town. - Fantastic location. Nice big, well kept yard. Really loved being able to bring our dog and he loved the space outside. Everything needed was provided- including bedding, towels, cleaning products, kitchen basics etc. Really reasonably priced. 2 bathrooms as well which would help if you were a bigger group. The property needs a really deep clean. It’s not a problem that it’s original and very dated (we understood from photos and description, as well as price), however there were some areas of the house that need deep cleaning (eg exhaust fan, bathroom walls, sliding door frame)
• Joy-Maree (7/5): Great location with ample space and beds. Could improve on the heating set up. - Was very central to cowes shops and the beach was within walking distance. We liked having a room for each child. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. Lounge room was comfortable. The property was freezing cold with only one reverse cycle aircon in the lounge room. Also had very poor hot water pressure. Was just a trickle which made it hard to wash our hair.

• Vien (8/5): Great place for a family. - House was spacious, and all the necessities were available.... The 2 shower and toilet were a plus. Since our stay was mostly rained out, the DVD collection and Large TV were great indoor entertainment. The kitchen and lounge had a draft that made it cold even with the heater on .... corridors and room were warm, though. Note it was a cold, windy, rainy winter long weekend when we were there.

• Garymharris (3/5): Great place, managing real estate agent is rubbish - For a 4 bed, 2 bathroom house, this property is very good value. The location is also great. Where to start? After booking and paying the full amount they immediately requested payment of a non existent 'balance'. Does not provide linen (confirmed multiple times from real estate office managing the property). Do not choose this accommodation if you can't provide linen or pay over $150 to rent linen. Security deposit through external website/provider required (despite Booking.com recommending not to use external links). They charge a transaction fee for this which is not refunded. Additional separate fees for untidy kitchen, bathroom, rubbish not in bins, etc... When I called the real estate agent to query the security deposit, and consequently indicated my displeasure at their service, the receptionist pretended to suddenly not be able to hear me. Customer complaints seemed like a very occurrence for them Bag of uncooked meatballs left in the fruit basket for our arrival... In the end linen was required after I spent time (on an overseas holiday btw) organising linen. To be completely honest, O'Brien as the managing real estate agent were horrible to deal with per messaging, email and phone. I've booked over 20 properties through Booking.com over the years. I firmly believe Booking.com is not the right platform for this property when managed by this real estate agent. O'Brien's add a significant level of complexity and issues, despite similar protections for the owner likely being in place through Booking.com. I own a rental property and my real estate agent acted like this to my tenants i would replace them immediately.
