• Ellen (6/5): On balance, the house served us well and we were grateful for the opportunity to be together. - The house is very spacious and has a beautiful view of the river out back. The kitchen is well equipped and allowed our three families to cook together and enjoy our three-generational gathering. The host, Rose, was quick to reply to messages, which was much appreciated. The house can benefit from a number of easy repairs and maintenance, as well as a manual for guests. Wall hangings (which were not expected based on the photos) would make the house more inviting. While we understood that two of the eight bedrooms listed had pullout sofas, we weren’t expecting those rooms to be sunrooms and not actual bedrooms, one of which was not closed off.
